Raipur : In accordance with the promise made to the landless laborers in Chhattisgarh, another guarantee of Prime Minister Shri Modi has been fulfilled. In our Chhattisgarh, a large population depends on agriculture but there are also people who do not even have agricultural land and they earn their livelihood by doing agricultural labor. Keeping them in mind, we had also made a promise to the landless agricultural laborer brothers and sisters. We had said that we will give them financial assistance of 10 thousand rupees annually. Today we have fulfilled this promise. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this while launching the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana in the auditorium located at New Circuit House today.

The Chief Minister said that a total of 5 lakh 62 thousand 112 beneficiaries of the state are going to get the benefit of this scheme. Under this scheme, we will provide five hundred 62 crore 11 lakh 20 thousand rupees to landless agricultural laborers. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that our objective behind starting Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Bhumihin Krishi Mazdoor Kalyan Yojana is to increase the net income of landless agricultural laborer families and provide them financial support. This scheme includes landless agricultural laborers along with landless families of forest produce collectors, shepherds, carpenters, blacksmiths, cobblers, barbers, washermen, etc. Landless families associated with Pauni-Pasari system are also included. Apart from these, Pujari, Baiga, Gunia, Manjhi families who worship in the Devsthal of tribals in scheduled areas have also been included. Chief Minister Shri Sai distributed a cheque of Rs 10 thousand to landless laborer beneficiaries.

The Chief Minister said that through this historic step, the resolution we had taken for the economic prosperity of the landless labourer families of the state is being realised today. Mr. Sai said that this scheme will not only strengthen their economic condition, but will also secure the education, health and future of their children. He said that our aim is that every poor and landless family of the state should be prosperous. This scheme will become a medium to bring positive change in their lives.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that most of the guarantees given by our illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to the people of Chhattisgarh have been fulfilled by our government within just one year. On the second day of taking oath, in the first cabinet, we approved Pradhan Mantri Awas to 18 lakh needy families. Our government has also increased the scope of eligibility for PM Awas. Now those who have two-wheelers, two and a half acres of irrigated land or five acres of non-irrigated land, whose monthly income is Rs 15 thousand, will also be eligible for PM Awas. We have also started the survey work for Awas Plus in the state. Our government's effort is to ensure that the benefits of good governance reach every citizen of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that similarly, under Modi ji's guarantee, we had promised to buy 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal. Our government fulfilled every promise made to the farmers. In the current Kharif season, we are buying 21 quintals of paddy per acre at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal as promised to the farmers. The support price is being paid to the farmers along with the purchase and the difference amount will be provided in the month of February.

The Chief Minister said that now when the farmer brothers are getting the full price of their produce, the farmers who have left farming are also returning to agriculture. We have increased the rate of tendu leaf collection from Rs 4000 per standard sack to Rs 5500 per standard sack, due to which more than 12 lakh 50 thousand tendu leaf collectors of the tribal area are getting benefited. We had promised to give one thousand rupees per month to mothers and sisters under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana under Modi's guarantee. 70 lakh women of the state are getting the benefit of this scheme. So far, financial assistance of Rs 7 thousand 182 crore has been given to mothers and sisters in 11 installments. Similarly, by starting the Ramlala Ayodhya Dham Darshan Yojana, so far we have sent 20 thousand devotees from Chhattisgarh for Ayodhya Dham Darshan. One by one we are fulfilling every promise made under Modi's guarantee.

The Chief Minister said that our government is running welfare schemes for every section. We are also ensuring that the benefits of the government schemes reach the beneficiary group. Today I am very happy that the benefits of our promises are reaching you and our efforts are bringing smiles on your faces. Revenue Minister Shri Tankaram Verma said that ever since our government has been formed in the state, Chhattisgarh has developed rapidly. Under Modi's guarantee and Vishnu's good governance, our government has completed major schemes. He said that our Chief Minister is realizing Deendayal ji's dreams.

Raipur : With the blessings of Maryada Purushottam Lord Shri Ram, Chhattisgarh is rapidly moving towards becoming a developed state. Our government has just completed thirteen months. Meanwhile, we have done many important works for good governance, with sensitivity, public service. He said that with the formation of the government, we have made continuous efforts to improve the living standards of people in urban and rural areas along with the development of all sections. This has led to development of infrastructure, sanitation, clean drinking water and health facilities in cities and rural areas. Our first year was dedicated to the development of socially and economically backward people. The state has established new dimensions of development. We are continuously working for the welfare of all sections. Our government has fulfilled most of the guarantees of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi within a year. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the 'Urban Development Steps' program organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium.

The Chief Minister said that if there are public representatives with development thinking from the head of the country, the Prime Minister, to the village sarpanch, then Chhattisgarh will definitely develop in all aspects with the basic mantra of 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'. He said that there should be coordinated development of villages and urban areas, for this adequate availability of human resources is necessary. There was a long-standing demand regarding compassionate appointment in urban bodies. We have also approved new posts for this after considering it with sensitivity. In the Urban Development Sopan program, we have just distributed orders for compassionate appointment on 103 posts today. Our effort is to increase employment opportunities in the state and make more and more youth self-reliant. Our government has approved 353 posts for compassionate appointment in the Urban Administration and Development Department and various urban bodies.

The Chief Minister said that the foundation stone of 813 works worth Rs 155 crore 38 lakh and the inauguration of 70 works worth Rs 15 crore 25 lakh have just taken place here in various urban bodies. We have also laid the foundation stone of water supply schemes to be built at a cost of Rs 270 crore under Amrit Mission-2.0 in 6 urban bodies Takhatpur, Ratanpur, Bhanupratapur, Chhuriya, Malhar and Khongapani here. 20 thousand 511 private tap connections will be given in these urban bodies. With this, the resolution of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to provide clean drinking water to every household is going to take a concrete shape.

With everyone's participation in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, great success is being achieved in urban areas. To encourage cleanliness, we are also honoring those who do excellent work from time to time. Similarly, today we are honoring 14 urban bodies of the state who have done excellent work in the Clean Toilet Campaign under Mission Clean City. Ambikapur, Chhura, Chhuriya, Dongargarh, Korba, Mahasamund, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Bilaspur, Mandir Hasaud and Chandkhuri etc. urban bodies are being awarded today. We ourselves are also feeling proud by honoring them.

The Chief Minister said that Swachhta Didi has a big contribution in cleanliness and door-to-door garbage collection in cities. It is only due to their dedication and hard work that the Swachhta Mission is being successful. Honoring Swachhta Didi encourages their contribution. We ourselves are also feeling honored by honoring them. At present, more than 9 thousand Swachhta Didi are working in the urban bodies of the state under the Swachh Bharat Mission. They are given an honorarium of Rs 7200. I am very happy to inform that the honorarium of Swachhta Didi is being increased by Rs 800 today. Now Swachhta Didi will get an honorarium of Rs 8 thousand every month.

The Chief Minister said that it is the dream of our illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that no Indian will sleep under the open sky. Every citizen will have a permanent house. As per the guarantee of Modi ji, as soon as our government was formed in Chhattisgarh on 13 December, we took the first decision in the first cabinet meeting on 14 December 2023 to approve 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas. We are getting full support in the double engine government for the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Recently, Union Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave us the gift of a large number of Pradhan Mantri Awas in Durg. He has also approved 3 lakh additional houses for the next financial year. The survey work has started in the Pradhan Mantri Awas 2024 Plus Scheme. Now, those people who have two-wheelers will also get its benefits. Those who have irrigated land up to two and a half acres and non-irrigated land up to five acres will also get the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Those whose monthly income is up to Rs 15,000 will also get the benefit of the scheme. For this, the Government of India has arranged for online and easy survey. Chief Minister Shri Sai attended the oath taking ceremony of Indian Medical Association

Raipur : Our state is celebrating the silver jubilee year of its establishment. We have taken steps towards developed Chhattisgarh. The development journey of Chhattisgarh is moving forward with the mantra of health to prosperity. Today Chhattisgarh is becoming a big center of medical tourism. There was a time when people used to go to Delhi-Mumbai for the treatment of many serious diseases. Today, the most serious diseases are being treated by the charitable doctors of Raipur city. From heart and kidney transplant to diseases like cancer, treatment is being done with the latest technology in the hospitals of Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this during the oath taking ceremony of Indian Medical Association today.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the state government is making every possible effort to provide the best possible medical facilities to the citizens. To strengthen the medical system from primary health centers to district hospitals, better resources, necessary infrastructure is being developed and along with this, doctors and medical staff are being recruited. Our government has implemented Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana as well as Shaheed Veernarayan Singh Health Scheme to expand health facilities in the state. Under the Ayushman Yojana, free treatment up to Rs 5 lakh is being provided to poor families and citizens of all categories above 70 years of age and free treatment up to Rs 50 thousand is being provided to APL families. Apart from this, assistance is also being given from the Chief Minister's Relief Fund for the treatment of complex diseases.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that there are a total of 14 medical colleges in Chhattisgarh, including 10 government and 4 private medical colleges.

Buildings of four new medical colleges are being constructed in the state. Health services will be expanded by the construction of medical colleges in Janjgir Champa, Kabirdham, Manendragarh and Geedam. A large number of people from abroad are also coming to Chhattisgarh for treatment. This is a matter of pride for us. He said that organizations like IMA can play an important role in becoming the voice of doctors as well as strengthening the relationship between doctor and patient.

Addressing the program, Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal said that work is being done to make health services easy and strong in Chhattisgarh. Only with the cooperation and dedication of the doctors, we will be able to take Chhattisgarh to new heights in the field of medicine. He said that the government has increased financial powers to improve medical facilities in the medical colleges of the state. Throwing light on the achievements of the state in the field of medical services and medical education, he said that Chhattisgarh is the leading state in the country in sickle cell screening. One crore 29 lakh people have been screened here. Establishment of sickle cell research institute and bone marrow transplant facility will be started in the state. For this, Rs 48 crore has been approved. He assured IMA Raipur that the government will provide all possible support to doctors and in the works of public interest. Former MLA Dr. Vimal Chopra also addressed the program.

Newly elected President of IMA Dr. Kuldeep Solanki said that the association will provide all possible support for the expansion of medical services and medical education in the state. He said that IMA will fulfill the responsibility of coordination between the administration and the medical service provider with full commitment. The good health of mothers and children is the most important priority of the welfare state of Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said this while launching the 'Swasth Mata-Tandrust Bachcha' campaign under the IIT Bombay-Jashpur Nutrition Mission in collaboration with IIT Bombay at the Chief Minister's Camp Office in Bagia, Jashpur district today. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai launched the 'Swasth Mata-Tandrust Bachcha' campaign in Jashpur district to improve the nutrition level of pregnant mothers and children.

Under this campaign jointly run by the Health Department and the Women and Child Development Department, more than 9500 health and Anganwadi workers are fully prepared to take care of the nutrition and health of mothers and children after receiving online training on nutrition through IIT Bombay. Under the campaign, more than 300 master trainers will provide continuous training to the field workers of the Health Department and Women and Child Development Department in the district. The main objective of this initiative is to completely eliminate malnutrition in Jashpur district and improve the health of mothers and children.

The campaign aims to free pregnant mothers, lactating mothers and children up to 6 years of age from malnutrition. It focuses especially on breastfeeding, nutritional diet and supplementary diet. Through this initiative, pregnant mothers will be given information about proper nutrition, so that children can become physically and mentally healthy. Raipur : Vice President Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, while addressing the 11th convocation of Guru Ghasidas Central University Bilaspur today from the seat of the chief guest, said that all you youth are ambassadors of the new India. You have to give your 100 percent to the country. No personal interest is greater than national interest. The youth have to look around themselves, government jobs should not be the goal of life. The youth now have unlimited opportunities from earth to sky in the new India.

The Vice President said that Baba Guru Ghasidas was a symbol of unity and equality. We should follow his teachings and messages. He inspired the youth to move forward with skill and innovation while keeping pace with the changing technology. He said that never be afraid of failure in life, but move forward by learning from it. In the ceremony, 85 medals including University Gold Medal, 09 Donor Medals, 01 Guru Ghasidas Medal and 01 Chancellor Medal were awarded to 78 students of session 2022-23 and 77 students who secured first position in the merit list of session 2023-24. Along with this, a total of 122 researchers of session 2022-23 and session 2023-24 were awarded PhD degrees.

Vice President Mr Dhankar said that Chhattisgarh is a mineral-rich state. There is a lot of potential for prosperity here, so make such a development strategy that increases collective prosperity and makes development of the people possible. He said that in the last year, very good efforts have been made towards Naxalite eradication and the pace of development has also increased in these areas. He said that there is no place for Naxalism in a state with unprecedented development. The development that is taking place at this time is focused on the marginalized sections of the society, the weaker sections of the society. The Chhattisgarh government has given a new direction to the overall development of the state with its public welfare policies and programs.

Governor Mr Ramen Deka said that Guru Ghasidas University is an institution that has continuously illuminated the path of education and knowledge in Chhattisgarh. The Governor said that the gold medal and PhD degree are the result of years of dedication, perseverance and hard work of those who received it. He told the students to respect diversity and cherish the rich cultural heritage of the country.

While addressing the convocation ceremony, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said that our India has been renowned as Vishwa Guru, behind this there have been universities rich in knowledge and science like Nalanda and Takshila. The youth power of Chhattisgarh has an important role in the reconstruction of not only the state but also the country. He said that the convocation ceremony is not just a formality for the students, but it is an opportunity which is a symbol of introspection, change and inspiration.

The Chief Minister said that the only central university of Chhattisgarh is established in the name of the great saint Baba Guru Ghasidas Ji, who is a symbol of knowledge, inclusiveness and our cultural pride. He said that since its inception, this university has played an important role in advancing the intellectual progress of Chhattisgarh. Its reputation is not limited to our state only, but has also spread at the national and international level.

The Chief Minister said that we know that education is the basis of positive changes taking place in the society and this university has repeatedly proved how education can become a means of change. Guru Ghasidas University has not only achieved academic achievements, but through innovations it has ensured that every student not only gets education but also gets a chance to live a better life.

Addressing the youth on this occasion, the Chief Minister said that we have prepared a new industrial policy to increase employment opportunities. In this, many concessions have been provided to entrepreneurs to increase investment opportunities in Chhattisgarh, due to which an investment of Rs 2.5 lakh crore is expected in the state in the next 5 years and 5 lakh new jobs will be created. Our government is making special efforts in view of the opportunities in the IT sector. We are going to establish Nava Raipur as an IT hub, where big IT companies are rapidly starting their units. Along with this, to provide better opportunities to the intellectually rich youth of Chhattisgarh in prestigious examinations like UPSC, we have increased the number of seats in the Tribal Youth Hostel operating in Dwarka, Delhi from 50 to 185.

The Chief Minister said that our government has taken steps to bring transparency, purity and fairness in PSC. We have restored the faith of the youth in the system. In the year 2047, when the country will complete 100 years of independence, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the goal of a developed India. In line with developed India, we have also prepared a vision of a developed Chhattisgarh and all of you youth will have an important role in achieving it. He said that you should not be limited to just finding a job. Innovate and create employment opportunities for others. You should contribute to building a better future.

Raipur : Adani Group Chairman Shri Gautam Adani paid a courtesy call on Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai at his residence here today. During the discussion with the Chief Minister, Shri Adani said that the visionary and transparent policies of the Chhattisgarh government have won the trust of industrialists, as a result of which Adani Group plans to invest Rs 60 thousand crores for the expansion of power plants in Raipur, Korba and Raigarh. This project will increase Chhattisgarh's power generation capacity by an additional 6,120 MW. This major expansion in the field of energy will not only make the state self-reliant, but will also help in supplying energy to other states. New schemes discussed

Adani Group will spend Rs 10,000 crore for the development of Chhattisgarh

Mr. Adani said that on the suggestion of Chief Minister Mr. Sai, Adani Group will spend about Rs 10,000 crore in the next four years from CSR and other sources to promote education, health, skill development and tourism in the state. Special emphasis on technical education

Adani Group will work for employment based skill development among the youth. This will lead to adequate availability of technical skill based human resources. The curriculum in Industrial Training Institutes (ITI) will be designed according to future needs so that local youth get adequate opportunities. Also, Adani Group will establish Skilling Excellence School and Premium School in Nava Raipur to give a new direction to education and skill development in Chhattisgarh. This initiative will prove to be an important effort to make the youth and children self-reliant by providing them quality education and state-of-the-art skills in the state.

Work will be done on promoting health facilities

Along with this, Adani Group will also work on expanding health facilities so that the citizens of Chhattisgarh can get high quality health facilities. A 1000 bed dormitory facility will also be started for the relatives of the patients near AIIMS Raipur and Mekahara Hospital.

Raipur : Chhattisgarh has been the holy land of Swami Vivekananda. Swami Vivekananda ji spent two years of his adolescence here in Day Bhawan. When someone comes to Raipur by air, he sees the airport named after Swami Vivekananda and realises that this city must have been related to Swami Vivekananda. From there to Vivekananda Sarovar, the most picturesque place in the city, everywhere one can see the respect of this city for Swami Vivekananda. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the opening ceremony of the three-day State Yuva Mahotsav organised at Science College Ground on the occasion of Swami Vivekananda ji's birth anniversary "National Youth Day".

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Swami Vivekanand ji has a big role in the creation of modern India. The historical statement he gave in the World Religion Conference in Chicago in 1893 made the whole world bow down in front of Indian thinking. Swami ji started his address with American brothers and sisters. This was in line with the Indian philosophy of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. At that time, American newspapers had written that by listening to Swami ji, we came to know about the deep values of India's Sanatan tradition which we could not even imagine.

Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the tall building of developed India and developed Chhattisgarh will be built in the hands of youth power. Our youth are the future of our state. It is only on the strength and determination of the youth that we are moving fast on the path of reconstruction of the state. The way the scam happened in recruitments during the previous government, the morale of our youth was completely broken. We had promised that we will get the PSC scam investigated. We handed over its investigation to the CBI. The CBI has taken effective action in this matter. The confidence of the youth in the PSC examination has returned.

The Chief Minister said that this time the examinations were conducted with complete transparency. When the results came, I called the toppers to felicitate them. They told me that they were all broken by the corruption in the PSC, the way the new government took strong action against corruption, their faith in the system returned. Youths are able to prepare for examinations in a better way only when they feel that there will be no malpractice in the examination. We have taken many measures to increase the transparency of the PSC. We are going to conduct the PSC examination on the pattern of UPSC. This will also enable more and more youth of the state to be selected in central services.

The Chief Minister said that we have increased the number of seats in the Youth Hostel of Delhi from 50 to 185 so that the youth can clear the UPSC examination by getting better coaching here. We have released the annual calendar of Vyapam examinations. The examination will be held on time. Along with this, we are also taking action to fill the vacant posts of the departments at a fast pace. We have implemented the National Education Policy. This education will prepare the youth for new age employment.

Referring to the new industrial policy, the Chief Minister said that in the new industrial policy, we have taken full care that the local youth get maximum employment. For this, we will provide special grant assistance to those industries which will employ 1 thousand or more local youth. There is a possibility of an investment of two and a half lakh crores in the state in the next five years, which will create five lakh new employment opportunities.

The Chief Minister said that our youth are very talented. They have unique ideas. Startups have a great potential in Chhattisgarh. We are encouraging it. We are creating coworking spaces where a youth who wants to start a startup can set up his setup at a very low cost. We are especially motivating the IT sector. IT companies are rapidly starting their units in Nava Raipur. Soon Nava Raipur will be established as a new IT hub.

Referring to the Bastar Olympics, the Chief Minister said that 1 lakh 65 thousand talents of Bastar division participated in it. Our illustrious Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi also praised this event in his Mann Ki Baat program. We are also committed to the development of sports in Chhattisgarh and for this we are rapidly building infrastructure and making solid arrangements for the training of players. Nalanda campus in Raipur is open 24 hours for the youth to prepare for competitive examinations. On the lines of Nalanda campus, we are also setting up hi-tech libraries in other districts of the state, where material will be available for preparation of online-offline competitive examinations.

Referring to the success of Bastar Olympics organized to connect the youth of Bastar region with the mainstream of development of the country and the state, the Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has appreciated this event. Congratulating the youth on Swami Vivekananda's birth anniversary, he said that in 1893, at the World Parliament of Religions in Chicago, America, Swami Vivekananda impressed the whole world with India through his lecture on the ideals, spirituality and philosophy of Sanatan Dharma.

Ram Pyare got free treatment in the longevity ward

My entire savings were exhausted in getting cancer treatment, I had to even sell the house, in such a situation, the longevity ward of the district hospital became a savior for me where I am getting free treatment as well as medicines. This is what 60-year-old Ram Pyare Ram, a resident of Rajapara, says. Ram Pyare is working as a peon in the Government Model School. He had complaints of pain and burning sensation in his stomach for many years. Initially when Ram Pyare got himself examined in a private hospital in Ambikapur, the doctors started his treatment saying that he had stomach ulcers. After two years of treatment, when he did not get relief, he got himself treated in a private hospital in Raipur. The examination revealed that he had stomach cancer. From there he was referred to another private hospital. Where he was treated for a year.

All the savings of his house were spent in this treatment. The situation became such that he had to sell his house. He kept getting buried under the burden of debt. The children tried to get treatment by taking loans from wherever they could. In such a situation, he got information about free treatment in the district hospital. He started getting his treatment here. Now he does not have to go to Raipur again and again for treatment. Ram Pyare tells that his treatment used to cost 90 thousand to 1 lakh per month. Apart from this, he had to bear travel and other expenses separately. Here the treatment is free and there is no need to spend money to go anywhere. For this, he thanked Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai and the government.

Longevity Ward became a path of hope in Deendayal's troubles

Deendayal Yadav, a cancer patient from Kansabel, said that he was facing many physical problems since September 2023. When he first got tested, the problem of hydrocele was identified and treated. But the physical ailment still kept increasing and there was swelling in the stomach. One day he fainted while working at home, so he continued to be treated in Kunkuri in an unconscious state for 2-3 days. When he was also examined in Ambikapur due to lack of knowledge about the disease, the doctors advised him to go to Medical College Raipur. Where the doctors' examination revealed that he had kidney cancer.

This condition of Deendayal, who took the responsibility of the entire house by working as a mason at home, had spread an atmosphere of fear in the entire family, but the doctors explained that he could get treatment in his own district so that he does not have any financial burden. When he came to Jashpur, his free treatment in the longevity ward was started under the Ayushman Card scheme. It had become difficult for Deendayal to even get up from the bed and speak. Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai participated in Chaliha festival organized by Pujya Sindhu Samaj in Chakarbhatha of Bilaspur. He said that recently regular flight service has started from Ambikapur Airport, which will increase civil facilities as well as promote tourism. The Chief Minister talked about working for better transport facilities in the entire Surguja division. He said that to make traffic smooth, Surguja will be connected to other areas through better roads. Transport facilities will improve with the network of roads and this will also lead to rapid development of Surguja.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai today paid floral tribute to the dead bodies of the martyred soldiers and the driver in the ID blast in village Ambeli on Kutru-Bedre road in Bijapur district at Karli Police Line in Dantewada on Monday. He met the family members of the martyred soldiers and expressed condolences and consoled them. The Chief Minister said that the state government is with them at every step. Chief Minister Mr. Sai along with Deputy Chief Minister and Forest Minister shouldered the mortal remains of martyred soldier Baman Sodhi and sent him to his native village. Also, the mortal remains of other martyred soldiers and the driver were sent to their native villages.

Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai said that the cowardly attack by Naxalites in Kutru area of Bijapur is not only an attack on our soldiers, but also on the values of democracy and peace. The sacrifice of the soldiers will not go in vain. The campaign to eliminate Naxalites will continue. Chief Minister Shri Sai said that violence and terror will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Our government is fully committed to establishing peace in Bastar division and Naxalism will be eradicated from the state by March 2026. It is noteworthy that 8 DRG soldiers and a driver were martyred in the IED blast carried out by Naxalites in Kutru area of Bijapur district.

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai will be on a tour of Janjgir-Champa and Mahasamund districts on January 6. As per the scheduled program, Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai will leave by helicopter from Raipur Police Ground at 11.35 am and will reach Khokhara Bhantha, Janjgir of Janjgir-Champa district at 12.15 pm and will inaugurate the Sports Complex in Khokhara and Hasdeo Craters Hub in Kachhari Chowk. After this program, the Chief Minister will come to High School Ground Janjgir by car at 12.55 pm and will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development works there. The Chief Minister will unveil the statue of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi in the Collectorate premises of the district.

The Chief Minister will leave by helicopter from Police Line Helipad Khokhara Bhantha, Janjgir at 2.30 pm and will reach village Macheva of Mahasamund district at 3.15 pm and from there will come to Swami Atmanand Hindi Medium Excellence School premises Mahasamund by car. The Chief Minister will inaugurate, perform Bhoomi Pujan and lay the foundation stone of various development works here. The Chief Minister will return to Raipur at 4.50 pm.
