The concept of transforming Chhattisgarh’s Gauthans into Rural Industrial Parks is slowly taking shape in the state. Adhering to Mahatma Gandhi’s vision of Gram Swaraj which aims to strengthen the rural economy by promoting the rural cottage industries, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has started this significant initiative to establish small cottage industries in different parts of Chhattisgarh to provide alternative income-generating opportunities for the villagers

Chief Minister inaugurated and performed Bhoomipujan of development works worth Rs 124 crore for Kanker assembly constituency
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday inaugurated and performed Bhoomipujan of 72 development works worth Rs 124.48 crore at a programme organized in the rest house of Kanker district headquarters. This includes Bhoomipujan of 60 development works worth Rs 74.51 crore and 12 development works worth Rs 49.96 crore.

At the Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan held today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated Mother and Child Health Care Center in Albelapara area of Kanker District Headquarters. Earlier, Adarsh Mahila Mahavidyalaya (Model Girls' College) was being operated in this building, and later, during the pandemic, this building was converted into a COVID-19 hospital. And now, the Maternal and Child Health Care Center, which was earlier being operated in District Hospital Kanker, has been shifted in the aforementioned premise.
