 Chief Minister fulfilled the wishes of sisters, daughters and villagers

On the fourth day of the ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel reached the Biharpur village of the Bhatgaon constituency. During Jan Chaupal, on the demand of the people and the Parliamentary Secretary, he announced a slew of development work for the villagers of Biharpur and won everyone’s heart.

On the demand of people especially sisters and daughters of Biharpur, the Chief Minister announced ‘Nal Jal Yojana’ worth Rs.24 crore for a cluster of 24 villages to solve the problem of drinking water. Similarly, he assured to conduct an inspection of the Electricity Department for the establishment of a sub-station to overcome the problem of electricity in the area. The Chief Minister approved the establishment of ITI in Biharpur on the demand of Parliamentary Secretary Mr.Parasnath Rajwade. The Chief Minister announced for a Swami Atmanand English Medium School to be open soon in Biharpur, developing Raksganda as a tourist destination, construction of Biharpur main road, Girls Hostel on the demand of the girl students of Government Girls Higher Secondary School, up-gradation of Kharpathar High School to Higher Secondary School, the opening of State Bank of India branch and ATM in Biharpur from next year and construction of transit hostel for officers-employees. The villagers welcomed every announcement of the Chief Minister. Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahariya and Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Paras Nath Rajwade were also present on the occasion

The members of Jai Mahamaya Mahila Self Help Group presented ‘tendu’, ‘Jirphool rice’, ‘sava rice’ and ‘arhar dal’ to the Chief Minister during ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel said that he is making memories with the people of Biharpur, you have given many gifts to me. During the meeting, a lady named Mrs. Chandrakala Jaiswal told that she bought a tractor from the loan she received from the group, and earns Rs.20 to 25 thousand. Congratulating them, the Chief Minister said that now women are also empowering themselves, this is a very good thing. Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel announced an aid of Rs. 4 lakh each to the families of five people affected by the natural calamity in Biharpur.

Laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs 2.15 crore in Biharpur

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel laid the foundation stone for development works in Biharpur worth  Rs 2.15 crore. He laid the foundation stone for the construction of Avantikapur main road to Sahu Para road worth Rs 38.40 lakh, building construction of a new sub-health center in Mohali worth Rs.28 lakh, culvert at Balamma Ghat between Kailash Nagar to Chhatrang Marg in Surajpur district worth Rs 149.34 lakh.

Chief Minister had lunch at Mr.Bhopal Singh's house

 

The Chief Minister had lunch at Mr.Bhopal Singh’s house in Biharpur. ‘Pehta’, ‘tilori’, ‘roti’, ‘rice’, ‘lentils’, ‘bhindi ki Bhujia’, ‘Karela Bhujia’, ‘Lakda chutney’ were served in the meal. The Chief Minister told Bhopal Singh ji that he had tasted Pehta in Sanaval as well. He told Mr.Bhopal Singh that Lakda is called Amari in Central Chhattisgarh. During taking the meal, the Chief Minister asked him about his farming practice. On the request of Mr.Bhopal Singh, the Chief Minister gave instructions to the Tehsildar to give the benefit of tree plantation scheme to Mr.Bhopal Singh and to get bore in his field soon. Mr. Baghel met his family members and asked about their well being and presented a saree to Mrs. Rajkunwar. On the demand of Aarti, the girl child of this family, the Chief Minister said that Swami Atmanand School would be opened in Biharpur. On the demand of Mr.Bhopal Singh ji, Adivasi Girls Hostel, Swami Atmanand School and Mini Stadium were approved.

 

Disciplinary action will be taken against negligent teachers

During the meeting, a youth Narendra Sahu complained about negligence by the government teachers in front of Mr.Baghel. Appreciating Narendra for raising the issue related to the quality of school education, the Chief Minister said that disciplinary action will be taken against the teachers for such negligence in schools. Teachers should discharge their duties honestly.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Saturday reached Kudargarh village of Bhatgaon assembly constituency as a part of his meet and greet campaign. During the ‘Jan Chaupal’, Mr. Harilal, a resident of Gadaipara, told Chief Minister that a total of 25 families of his area had to travel long distance of nearly 16 km, passing via hilly terrain, to reach Kudargarh to get their share of ration from the ration shop. This takes about two and a half hours. Sometimes, they even have to take another long and difficult route of about 35 km, walking along rocky roads, crossing rivers and streams.

He urged the Chief Minister that his village should be connected with the nearby Gram Panchayat Ghudai so that they can get ration easily and the villagers do not face any difficulties. To redress his problem, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel immediately instructed officials concerned to add the names of all beneficiaries in the ration shop near their village. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahriya, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Paras Nath Rajwade and Additional Chief Secretary Mr. Subrat Sahoo were also present on the occasion.

Chief Minister, on the third day of his extensive tour under the 'Bhent and Mulaqat' Campaign visited the village of Govindpur in Pratappur constituency. He came face to face with the villagers and after listening to their problems, issued prompt resolutions which include suspension of officers who were found to be negligent in their work. After this, he made several announcements for the upliftment of the residents of Govindpur. These development works include; gate construction, beautification and compound construction in Mata Rajmohini Samadhi Sthal Complex at a cost of Rs. 50 Lakh, Establishment of 33/11 KV power substation in Govindpur: 95 villages to benefit from this, 33 places will be illuminated with solar lights to fight elephant menace in the area's vicinity, A District Co-Operative Central Bank branch will be established at Govindpur,A road will be constructed from 11 No. Chowki to Ramkota Road. Moreover, on the complaint of the villagers, the Chief Minister also announced the suspension of the officials who were negligent in the construction of AvartiCharaiGauthan in Govindpur. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. ShivkumarDahria and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam were also present on the occasion.

 

 

The Chief Minister also inspected the Anganwadi of Govindpur. He met the children in the Anganwadi and distributed toffees to these children with his own hands. He asked the Anganwadi workers and helpers about the operations and management of Anganwadi. The Chief Minister took information from the workers regarding the quality of nutritional food given to the children and stressed on the regular functioning of Anganwadi.

Chief Minister Mr. BhupeshBaghel also dedicated a 6 bed ward for Covid patients at Jajawal Sub Health Center of Gram PanchayatGovindpur. Mr. BhupeshBaghel had lunch with the family of late Shri Sheetal Prasad Kannauje, a social worker at Govindpur. He called Shri Aditya LalKannauje, son of Shri Sheetal Prasad Kannauje, and made him sit with him for a meal.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel also closely scrutinized the documents at the Gram PanchayatBhawan in Govindpur. He took information about widow pension and chief minister's pension from the secretary of the village panchayat. He also asked for documents related to both the pension schemes. After this,The Chief Minister also took information from the Panchayat Secretary and the Chief Executive Officer of PratappurJanpadPanchayat about the distribution and payment method of these pension schemes.

The Chief Minister also asked the Panchayat Secretary and the Chief Executive Officer of the JanpadPanchayat about the old and new register containing information about pension distribution. He got the list recorded in the Chief Minister's Pension Register and matched it with the computerized list. After which, The Chief Minister inquired about the pending applications for making ration card. He directed that applications related to any scheme should not remain pending. He strictly instructed the officials to take prompt action on the pending applications of the beneficiaries and resolve them immediately.

 

 Balrampur : In a heartwarming gesture, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel immediately fulfilled wish of Smriti, a class 2 student studying in Swami Atmanand English Medium School Raghunath Nagar, to fly in a helicopter. Not just Smriti, Mr. Baghel invited few more children as well for the ride. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mr. Baghel yesterday promised to provide a helicopter ride to meritorious students of classes 10 and 12 of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. When Smriti came to know about the same, she expressed her wish to sit in a chopper while interacting which Chief Minister during his school inspection today.  “We are also toppers, when will we get a chance to sit in helicopter?” asked Smriti. “When you top in your Class 10 or 12 examinations” Mr. Baghel replied. “Aaj nahi karaoge?” (Not today), the girl asked. Mr. Baghel couldn’t say no and immediately fulfilled her wish.
