New Delhi, March 19, 2023 (Agency). The problems of cleanliness and accumulation of garbage are continuously increasing in the country's capital Delhi. Despite this, it is not able to be diagnosed.

If experts are to be believed, the cleaning work is done in three stages. The first is daily cleaning and lifting of garbage from the houses, the second is transporting the garbage from the garbage bins built at various places in the metropolis to Ghazipur, Okhla and Bhalsawa and at these three places modern technique is used to dispose of the garbage, but despite spending thousands of crores of rupees every year on this work, due to lack of better coordination between the agencies, cleanliness has become a serious problem.

The first phase of cleanliness in the capital is handled by NDMC personnel in the New Delhi area and MCD personnel in the rest. These people do the work of cleaning the streets and picking up garbage from the houses, but these sanitation workers face various problems . Modern resources are not available to them even today. Because of this, so many sanitation workers lose their lives every year.

To execute the work of the second phase, the government has hired agencies on contract. Their job is to pick up the debris from the garbage houses and take them to the three designated places. But the reason for this work not being executed systematically. Since then, the conditions near the garbage houses are very bad.

Ghazipur, Okhla and Bhalswa have become hell due to the huge deficiency in the execution of the work of the third phase. In these areas, the pile of garbage has taken the form of a mountain. The poisonous gas coming out of these piles has affected the lives of lakhs of people. Not only the air around is polluted but the water has also become polluted.

The mountain of garbage in South Delhi's Okhla is about 50 meters high and at present about 30 thousand metric tonnes of garbage is accumulated here, which has become dangerous for the people living here. Even worse is the situation in Ghazipur and Bhalswa.

To overcome these problems, during the hearing in NGT in January 2021, MCD had set a timeline for complete disposal of garbage. According to this, a target of 25 percent by December 2021, 50 percent by September 2022 and 100 percent by March 2023 was set to remove garbage from the Okhla site, but the March 2022 report shows that only 23.63 percent of the garbage has been disposed of from the Okhla landfill site.

The Union Ministry of Jal Shakti had said in a report last year that these landfill sites are also making the ground water poisonous. Chemicals like Calcium Carbonate, Sulphate Iron and Magnesium, Chloride, Nitrate, Ammonia, Phenol, Zinc have been found in the ground water of the residential areas surrounding the garbage mountains, which are extremely harmful for the body.

A study by the science journal Lancet also states that people living within a radius of 5 kilometers near a landfill site are at a higher risk of asthma, TB, diabetes and depression.

The serious problem of cleanliness and disposal of garbage is maximum in East Delhi. Seelampur councilor Begum Shakeela Afzal said that she has made complaints several times to the top officials of the corporation in this regard. Earlier, the corporation personnel were responsible for the disposal of garbage. Action was taken against their negligence, but now it is The responsibility rests with a private company.

MCD affiliated All Municipal Corporation Sanitation Supervisors Union Regd. Founder President Mukesh Kumar Vaidh said that no necessary equipment is being given to the cleaning workers. On the other hand, instead of improving, the condition has worsened due to the award of the contract to a private company in the year 2019. Because of this, we decided to launch this company. It has been decided to approach to court.

ASI Mr. Kumar told that we have to send photos and reports to the authorities about garbage daily. Information about these situations has been given to the corporation commissioner and other senior officials several times. He told that the cleaning workers have not been regularized for years. While BJP has been attacking Rahul Gandhi's London statement, Congress said that they are trying to divert attention from Adani issue and demand for JPC inquiry.

As Lok Sabha precedings began today, MPs from the ruling party raised slogans demanding an apology from Rahul Gandhi. Air hostess pushed to death by boyfriend in B’luru, reveals police probe

The case of the suspicious death of an air hostess in Bengaluru has taken a twist with the investigation revealing that her boyfriend pushed her to death as she warned him of legal action for not marrying her, police sources said on Tuesday.

The incident took place on March 11. According to the police, both met through a dating app and fell in love. “For the last three months, the deceased Archana was forcing her boyfriend Adesh to marry her. But, the accused did not show any interest and postponed it by giving various reasons,” police said.

The deceased air hostess, who came to Bengaluru from Dubai, had tough talks with him on marriage. She had told him about her family looking out for alliances. This had led to arguments between them and the victim, Archana had warned him of initiating legal action against him.

The police investigations have shown that the accused Adesh, enraged by this, allegedly pushed her off from his apartment and killed her.

Police said that after killing her, the accused had called the victim’s father and maintained that his daughter fell off from the building in an inebriated state. He had also dialed police and informed them about the incident.

The police have arrested the accused following a complaint by the parents of the deceased air hostess. They suspected the role of the accused boyfriend and even charged that he had pushed her off from the building.

The incident of the air hostess, who flew down to Bengaluru to meet her male friend suspiciously jumping to death from the apartment was reported on March 11 (Saturday) in Bengaluru.

The incident had taken place in the premises of the Renuka Residency in Koramangala locality on Friday midnight.

Archana, 28, hailed from Himachal Pradesh and worked for a reputed airline company. The accused, Adesh is from Kerala and works in Bengaluru.

Karnataka State Government Employees’ Association on Tuesday declared that all government employees in the state would launch an indefinite strike from Wednesday (March 1).

The development has posed a challenge to the ruling BJP government as the days for the assembly elections are nearing.

Addressing a Press conference on Tuesday, President C.S. Shadakshari stated, “All government services will stop from tomorrow. We will not budge to any efforts of compromise. The agitation will be taken back only if the government agrees to implement the 7th pay commission.”

“In the entire country, Karnataka government employees get the least salaries. Other states have hiked the salaries long ago. There is 39 per cent vacancy of posts. In spite of all the hard work, the state is in fifth position in terms of development,” he said.

Reacting to the development, Chief Minister Bommai stated that the interim report of the 7th Pay Commission will be sought and implemented for which the money has been earmarked in the state budget.

He told reporters here on Tuesday that the government has accepted the demand of the employees to revise their pay after seeking the interim report. The commission will be instructed immediately to submit its interim report and the government is ready to implement it.

However, Shadakshari stated that the Chief Minister has not mentioned anything about 7th pay commission. He had promised to implement it last year, but till date the assurance has not been fulfilled. The pay commission has assured consideration and it is under discussion.

“We have brought to the notice of the government about the agitation. But, it has not bothered to reciprocate to the demand. I request all government employees of all cadres to join the indefinite strike from tomorrow,” President Shadakshari stated.

The agitation is being carried out under collective leadership. Without any confusion all government employees are remaining absent. There was confusion at the beginning but now various associations of government employees have come together on this front, he maintained.

In 2022, they maintained that the pay commission will be formed in 2022. Anyhow it did not take shape. It has been formed after nine months. “We have requested the government to take the interim report and implement it. Then also it was assured that the demand would be verified. Afterwards, it was only under discussion, no decision was taken, he explained.

The Doctors’ Association President Vivek Dore, State Government Schools and Colleges President Shambhulinga Gowda were also present on the occasion.

New Delhi: Rahul Gandhi, the head of the Congress, said on Sunday that he had never owned a home and stated that this had enabled him to "transform" his Bharat Jodo Yatra and establish relationships with the populace.

In his remarks to the Congress plenary meeting in Nava Raipur, Chhattisgarh, Gandhi stated that he wanted every participant in the Yatra to feel like they were returning home.

When his family was getting ready to move out of their government housing in 1977, he remembered the experience.

At the house, there was an odd vibe. I went and asked my mother what had happened. We are leaving the house, according to Ma.

I had previously assumed it to be our home. So I questioned my mum about our decision to leave our home. My mother then for the first time told me that the house wasn't ours, but rather the government's, and that we needed to leave right away, the Congress leader recalled.

Rahul Gandhi claimed that he had spoken to his mother, Sonia Gandhi, about their upcoming destination. "Nahi maloom, as my mother stated, means 'don't know. I was surprised. Formerly, I believed it to be our home.

"I have been without a home for 52 years. Our family's home is in Allahabad, yet that home is not actually ours. Yet, that is not my home," he remarked of his residence at 12 Tughaq Lane.

Gandhi then talked about his Yatra, which he described as having started on September 7 of last year in Kanyakumari, travelled across 12 states and two union territories, and ended in Kashmir at the end of January.

"As I left Kanyakumari, I pondered what my responsibility is... I developed a thought. I informed my family that I would be living in this 20 to 25-foot region surrounding me for the ensuing four months. I'll be moving this house with me.

"Anyone arrives here, whether they are rich or poor, old or young, from any nation or religion, from afar, or even if they are an animal, they should feel like they have come home, and when they leave, they should feel like they are leaving their home," the statement reads. The Yatra changed the day I performed it, Gandhi stated.

Although the Gandhi family enjoys "responsibility without power," the BJP attacked Gandhi, claiming that his comments demonstrate their "feeling of entitlement."

"Rahul ji used to believe that all the residences and vehicles he was utilising were his. This is referred to as having a sense of entitlement if you believe that the government is your home and that you have the right to evict us, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra told reporters.

Gandhi, according to him, began his Yatra only recently, whereas the two prime ministers of the BJP spent their entire lives travelling the nation and becoming "pracharaks" to learn about it.

"After turning 52, he is considering what should be his responsibility... after resigning as president of the Congress... Power without accountability is both your slogan and the Gandhi family's," Patra remarked.

Ranchi, 18 February 2023. During the Corona crisis, the organization JITM, which has grabbed headlines for public service in remote areas of Jharkhand including the country's capital Delhi, has now taken up the task of eradicating TB in the state.

This organization also encourages youth and women to become self-reliant through various programs in the field of art, Sanskrit and skill development and thousands of needy people are taking advantage of it. Many have got employment opportunities in foreign countries.

Jharkhand, apart from the tribal-dominated province, is known as an air-polluted area due to coal mines in most of the areas and according to a figure, 137 people out of one lakh people are suffering from TB here. In the capital Ranchi alone, about seven and a half thousand patients are suffering from TB.

For this reason, the state government has taken up the task of eradicating TB and its responsibility has been entrusted to JITM, an organization working better in remote areas of Jharkhand including the country's capital Delhi during the Corona period.

Soon after the announcement of the lockdown in the year 2020, when lakhs of people had reached the borders of Delhi to go to their homes, the head of this organization along with his team force got involved in the service of the people. They were given fruits, medicines and food. There were headlines in the media regarding this that time.

Later, many mobile vehicles were installed by this organization for corona testing, so that lakhs of people could get the facility of testing. Many workers of the organization engaged in this work also suffered from corona.

A top official of JITM told that our organization is going to do better work in difficult circumstances. We are determined to eradicate TB in Jharkhand. The cooperation of the government and top officials will definitely bring results in this direction.

He has said that the Jharkhand government has entrusted the task of testing TB patients in the state. We will also do it. A complete plan has been prepared for this. Our aim was to achieve the target even in the time of Corona crisis and we have been successful.

New Delhi, February 12, 2023.Congress leader Rahul Gandhi made scathing attacks on the Modi government regarding the famous industrialist Adani, in response Prime Minister Narendra Modi also attacked the entire opposition including the Congress during the President's address to the Parliament last week.

While the opposition kept raising slogans of Adani , the ruling party raised slogans of Modi. Not a single word was said by the Prime Minister in his speech regarding Adani.

The President's address to the budget session was hotly debated in Parliament last week. On Tuesday, after Mr. Gandhi's political attack, Mr. Modi gave a befitting reply in his speech was completely against the Congress. This tussle continued in the Rajya Sabha as well. The noise and sloganeering from both the sides was that we are not less than anyone.

On Wednesday the congress questioned why the Prime Minister's Office ignored the NITI Aayog's recommendations against handing over six airports to an inexperienced Adani group. The Congress statement came after Mr. Gandhi launched a barrage of allegations against Adani and Mr. Modi.

Earlier, Congress termed the budget for the financial year 2023-24 as 'directionless' and said that only one industrialist has had good days in this government, bad days have come for the poor. Initiating the general discussion on the Union Budget for the year 2023-24, Gaurav Gogoi, deputy leader of the party in the House on Wednesday, also said that the matter related to the Adani group should be investigated by the Joint Parliamentary Committee (JPC). In his address, he alleged that the government has not suggested measures regarding unemployment, inflation and farmer's problems. The biggest challenge is that the population of the country has crossed 140 crores, but the unemployment rate is not more than seven percent.

Shri Gogoi said that if 80 crore people have to be given free food grains today, then one can imagine how serious the situation is. Congress MP Shashi Tharoor said that the Prime Minister gave a very good speech, but whatever questions were asked by the opposition, they did not answer any question.

Mentioning a poem by poet Dushyant Kumar in his speech, the Prime Minister said that there is no land under your feet, the wonder is that even then you are not sure. On this, the ruling party expressed happiness by thumping the table.

He said that when the tricolor was hoisted at Lal Chowk in Srinagar, media people started questioning that earlier it did not happen here. The news had come in the newspapers, which must have gone unnoticed. People were busy trying to shine on TV. At the same time theaters inside Srinagar were full after decades and separatists were nowhere to be seen.

This technology is utilized to make teachers' jobs easier. In Chhattisgarh, the School Education Department and NIC created the Nicler App after conducting an extensive study to help instructors with their assessment-related duties.

To begin using the app, head to the Google Play Store and download the Nicler app. Students must download the QR code card from the site and paste it into a booklet based on the school's U-Dice. Each pupil must be given a unique card with his or her name on it in this manner. It should not be used interchangeably. It should stay with him for the duration of the session in the name of that student.

If you wish to ask a question after a topic has been taught, you can use the Nicler app to ask one of the existing questions relevant to that session, or you can ask your own. The question should have four possible answers. Children must be taught how to hold the card according to the correct selection.

The Nicler app can also be used to track children's attendance. You can also ask inquiries by recording the voice of different questions asked with this app. If there is a problem with the app, technically experienced teacher colleagues from among the teachers assist us by creating support videos. As a result, it is simple to implement in the classroom.

Budget displays bigotry and injustice towards minorities: SIO

The budget for education presented by the central government neglects to address the critical issues of equitable development and fails to meet the needs of marginalised communities. It also fails to fulfil the significant gaps in knowledge created by the COVID-19 pandemic, which caused extended school and college closures, making the past few years challenging for students across the nation.

It is appreciated that there was an increment in the education budget, but it was less than the Kothari commission and NEP 2020's recommendation of allocating 6% of GDP to the education budget. Since 2019, the GDP proportion of education has been unchanged at 2.9%. However, the government actually spent less on education during the last two fiscal years than it had anticipated.

Regarding minority education scholarships, there was a massive cut of funds in merit-cum means scholarships from 365 to 44 crores, showing a callous attitude even after dropping the pre-metric and MANF scholarships. This was an onslaught on education and the dignity of minorities. After allocating Rs 900 crores for pre-metric scholarships in the previous budget and then cancelling them, it demonstrates a bias against minorities. The whopping cut of funds to Madrasas from previous budgets shows the clear agenda of the government towards minorities and their upliftment in terms of education.

The budget for skill development programmes like USTTAD and Nai Manzil declined from crores to a mere amount of Rs 10 lakh.

The budget allocated for research programmes and free coaching for minorities also saw a drop of 50% from the previous budget, which shows the apathetic behaviour of the government.

Although the increase in funds allocated to school education is appreciable, the amount allocated to higher education, research and development has not been addressed properly, which is crucial in shaping students and also leading to the migration of a large number of students and youth abroad.

The amount allocated to kendriya vidyalas is 200 times greater than the funds allocated to normal government schools, which shows a clear dichotomy and raises a question of equality and equity in education.

SIO welcomes the decision to increase nursing colleges, but provisions should be made for strengthening the existing colleges with modern equipment. The district training centres for teachers and digital and physical libraries are good steps, but a question about their level of implementation arises. And there were no concrete measures in the present budget towards raising the question of unemployment.

SIO believes that the minority education budget is a clear injustice to minorities and that the central government has taken no stand for its upliftment. This myopic vision doesn't bode well for the equitable development of the country.
