Every year during Ganeshotsav, the capital's residents eagerly await the beautiful Lord Ganesha 'Jhankis' (tableaux). This tradition holds great significance in Raipur, with the entire city staying awake at night to see these captivating representations of Lord Ganesha in the grand 'Jhanki' event. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, along with fellow Raipur citizens, immersed himself in the religious fervor, enjoyed the display of 'Jhankis,' and offered prayers to Lord Ganesha.

He extended his heartfelt congratulations to the committee members, commending them for creating a stunning 'Jhankis'. He emphasized that this initiative would provide the new generation with valuable insights into their cultural heritage. Lauding the efforts of the committees, Shri Baghel stated that they had faithfully upheld this tradition for years, which was possibly initiated by older generations in their respective localities. This is truly a welcoming move.

During this occasion, Chief Minister Shri Baghel took a glimpse of various forms of Lord Ganesha presented in the 'Jhankis'.

The prominent Jhankis showcased representations of Lord Vishnu and the iconic 'Dahi-Handi' ceremony encapsulating the playful and adventurous spirit of Lord Krishna, among others.

Present on the occasion were Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, Raipur Mayor Shri Aijaz Dhebar, and Chairman of Mineral Development Corporation Shri Girish Dewangan, along with other dignitaries and a large number of citizens.

On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel honored senior citizens at the Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur. Chief Minister Shri Baghel personally Interacted with the elderly with empathy, and honoured them. On this occasion, he also provided 825 assistive devices, including electronic wheelchairs, glasses, and hearing aids, to More than 6500 senior citizens from all districts were present at this event.

On the occasion of International Day of Older Persons, Chief Minister Shri Baghel greeted the people and stated that human life has three main stages - childhood, youth, and old age. The old age of a person is the culmination of their lifelong knowledge and experiences, it is the accumulation of their lifelong perseverance. That is why elders are the pillars of the society. The gleam of their experiences is what guides the younger generations forward. It is mentioned in the Shastras that serving elders increases life span, knowledge, fame and strength.

Shri Baghel stated that in the new era, traditional values are gradually eroding. Those who have worked hard and sacrificed throughout their lives are often neglected in today's society. The state government has initiated a SIYAN Helpline number to provide assistance to senior citizens. This helpline can also be used by differently-abled individuals, widows, and transgender persons. An allocation of Rs. 1 crore has been made in the budget for the setup of this Help Line Center and toll-free number. Till now, more than 76,000 calls have been received on the helpline, out of which 1493 calls have been made by senior citizens. He stated, "We are pleased that through this helpline center, we are able to assist senior citizens"

Shri Baghel has mentioned that the state government has increased the monthly pension amount under the Social Security Pension Scheme for the destitute, senior citizens, differently-abled individuals, widows, and abandoned women from Rs. 350 to Rs.500 per month. More than 13 lakh senior citizens in the state are benefiting from the Monthly Pension Scheme. In addition to this, the state government has also distributed 49,000 essential assistive devices to senior citizens. A separate pension scheme for state government employees has been initiated to provide support to them in their old age.

The Chief Minister stated that the state government is operating the SIYAN Jatan Clinic for the healthcare of senior citizens. Special OPD and Panchakarma services are also being provided for senior citizens in the state's Ayurvedic hospitals. In the state, Sri Dhanwantari Generic Medical Stores are offering quality medicines at up to 72% lower prices. He further said that this scheme is benefiting our senior citizens as well.

Shri Baghel has made an appeal to everyone to make an effort to understand the issues and concerns of senior citizens within their families and communities. He emphasizes that serving the elderly is more significant than any form of worship or devotion. Their blessings are indeed the most valuable reward. Senior citizens hope for the same love from us that they have given us throughout our lives.

Minister for Social Welfare Mrs. Anila Bhediya, while extending her best wishes for International Day of Older Persons, mentioned that Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel is diligently addressing the concerns of senior citizens, the destitute, differently-abled individuals, farmers, and every section of society. Despite the Central Government not providing funds, the state government has given advance approval for various schemes, which has ensured the smooth functioning of these initiatives.

During the program, 825 assistive devices were provided to senior citizens, including 25 electronic wheelchairs, 600 hearing aids, and 200 pairs of glasses. Children from the Divyang Mahavidyalaya in Raipur presented patriotic songs during the event. A free health camp was set up for senior citizens, where hearing and eye examinations were conducted, and glasses were distributed. Additionally, the Department of Social Welfare had set up a stall to provide information about various schemes for senior citizens.  Parliamentary Secretary Smt. Rashmi Ashish Singh, Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vikas Upadhyay, Chairman of the Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission Shri Gyanesh Sharma, MLA Shri Satyanarayan Sharma, District Panchayat President Mrs. Domeshwari Verma, and the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department Shri Amrit Khalho, along with a large number of senior citizens were present.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel returned Rs 38.4 lakh to 122 chit fund scam victims of Koriya and Bemetara districts in a program organised at the Chief Minister’s residence office through video conferencing on Tuesday.

The state government is making every effort to address the issue of financial fraud and has returned a total of Rs 38.08 crore to 69,503 investors. This effort includes 468 cases against 214 unregulated financial companies, resulting in 708 arrests and 402 cases presented in court. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has transferred an amount of Rs 34.63 lakh to 108 investors of the Bemetara district, and an amount of Rs 3.77 lakh to 14 investors of the Koriya district.

Addressing the program through video conferencing, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel shared the state government's unwavering commitment to repatriating funds to chit-fund investors. He stated that Chhattisgarh is leading the nation as the first state to return money to these investors. Chit fund companies had deceived innocent citizens into investing their hard-earned savings, enticing them with promises of multiplying their investments. Mr. Baghel stated that from the moment he took responsibility for the Chhattisgarh Government, returning these funds became a paramount objective of the government. Through sustained efforts, they have achieved substantial success and will remain dedicated to this mission in the future.

The Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, greeted the investors who received their refunded money on Tuesday. Among them, Mrs. Saraswati Sahu from Bemetara district conveyed her heartfelt gratitude, expressing disbelief that she would ever recover her Rs 2.7 lakh. She credited the Chief Minister's empathetic approach for this successful outcome. Likewise, Mrs. Urmila from Charcha in the Koriya district received an amount of Rs. 1.5 lakh, and Mr. Balam Sai from Chirmi received an amount of Rs. 1 lakh. Both of them interacted with the Chief Minister and expressed their gratitude for the recovery of funds.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel will attend in the concluding ceremony of the state-level Chhattisgarhiya Olympics  at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Raipur  on September 27th, which will be commenced at 1:00 PM

The state-level Chhattisgarhiya Olympics are being held from September 25th to 27th. Competitions are taking place in 16 traditional sports disciplines under the Chhattisgarh Olympics. These competitions are being held in four sports grounds in Raipur. Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium in Budhapara is hosting events such as Fugdi, Billas, Bhawra, Baanti (Kancha), Rassi kud , and Kabaddi. Similarly, Directorate of sports and youth welfare Raipur premises' open field is hosting competitions in disciplines like Sankhli, Rassakasi, Langdi, Gilli-Danda, Pitthul, and Gedi Daud. The events of 100 meters run, Long Jump, and Wrestling are taking place at the Swami Vivekananda Stadium in Kota. Additionally, Kho-Kho competitions are being held at Netaji Subhas Stadium.

The concluding ceremony of the state-level Chhattisgarh Olympics will be presided over by the Sports and Youth Welfare Minister, Shri Umesh Patel, and will have Dr. Charan Das Mahant, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, as the distinguished guest.

Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi and Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel dedicated 414 development works worth Rs 669.69 crore to the residents at the 'Awas NYAY Sammelan ' organized at the village of Parsada Sakri in Takhatpur development block of Bilaspur district on September 25. This includes the laying of the foundation stone for 247 projects worth Rs. 195.50 crore and the inauguration of 167 projects with a cost of Rs. 474.18 crore. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel distributed departmental kits and cheques for various departmental schemes to beneficiaries during the event. Lok Sabha MP Shri Rahul Gandhi graced the event as the chief guest.

The Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel performed the bhumipoojan for various slew of development projects which includes the construction of 21 different roads at a cost of Rs. 13.78 crore under the Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojana, the renovation of 2 roads at a cost of Rs. 3.74 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Bilaspur, the construction of a high-level bridge and command area development and water management work in Kharang reservoir at a cost of Rs. 14.24 crore under the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana, the construction and expansion of 17 health centres and health sub-centres at a cost of Rs. 9.32 crore under the Health Department, the construction of a bridge over the Kharun River and an access road on Kilometer 30/2 of the Bilaspur-Ratanpur Katghora Road at a cost of Rs. 2.65 crore, the construction of Mahuakapa anicut at a cost of Rs. 2.31 crore, and the construction of Ranibachli anicut at a cost of Rs. 2.34 crore respectively.  Similarly, bhumipoojan of works under the Rural Engineering Services includes 9 construction projects costing Rs. 2.20 crore, 6 projects in Masturi Janpad Panchayat costing Rs. 98 lakh, 8 different construction works costing Rs. 1.31 crore in Takhatpur, and 148 development works costing Rs 36.40 crore in Municipal Corporation Bilaspur respectively. Similarly, bhumipoojan of various works under the Electricity Department of Bilha development block includes construction of 33/11 KV sub-station costing Rs 1.96 crore, Under the Public Works Department Bilaspur (No. 02-), the construction of 03 roads costing Rs 15.14 crore, and under Public Works Department Bilaspur (No. 01), construction of 02 school buildings and 01 social building costing Rs 2.57 crore respectively.

The laying of the foundation stone for various works includes the construction of 10 buildings and drain work costing Rs 1.60 crore in Nagar Panchayat Takhatpur, 6 developmental works costing Rs 2.55 crore under Nagar Panchayat Bilha and 1 work under Amrit Mission in Nagar Panchayat Bodri costing Rs 72.55 crore.

Inauguration

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the garment factory in Ganiyari, Takhatpur development block, at a cost of Rs. 7.04 crore, and the garment factory in Nagoi, Bilha development block, at a cost of Rs. 7.04 crore. Additionally, inauguration under the Health Department includes 11 health centre buildings costing Rs. 3.25 crore, 7 anicuts and 1 reservoir construction work costing Rs. 18.18 crore under the Water Resources Department, the development and expansion of 16 different Swami Atmanand Excellent Schools costing Rs. 6.02 crore, under the Rural Engineering Services and Rs. 3.17 crore for 25 projects in Masturi Janpad Panchayat, Rs. 45 lakh for 3 projects in Bilha respectively. Similarly, the inauguration in the Bilaspur Municipal Corporation includes 75 different development projects costing Rs. 301.59 crore, Mission Amrit (Part-01) Surface Water Supply Scheme under Bilha Development Block, costing primarily Rs. 201 crore, and Mission Amrit (Part-02) Distribution Work costing Rs. 100.45 crore respectively. Similarly, the inauguration of various works includes, under the Public Works Department (Serial Number 02) Bilaspur, 6 projects costing Rs. 34.04 crore, and in the Public Works Department (Serial Number 01) Bilaspur, 7 projects costing Rs. 22.30 crore, 5 development projects in the Kota Janpad Panchayat worth Rs. 71 lakh and 23 development projects costing Rs. 49.31 crore were inaugurated under the Bilaspur Smart City project respectively.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel extended congratulations to the beneficiaries present at 'Aawas NYAY Sammelan'.

When was the housing scheme started and by which government? It was started in 1985 when Rajiv ji was the Prime Minister, back then it was known as Indira Aawas Yojana. Today, this scheme has been rebranded as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.

Neither Census nor any economic survey has been conducted. Beneficiaries of the scheme are being identified on the basis of 2011 census. Today, Rahul ji has transferred money into the accounts of 7 lakh people with a single click.

Rahul ji has always been considerate and vocal about the issues concerning the interest of farmers, labourers, youth, women, and tribal brothers and sisters. He has always worked for their welfare.

Previously, when Rahul Gandhi ji had visited Chhattisgarh, he was here to attend 'Rajiv Yuva Sammelan'.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in the program organized on the occasion of Teeja Pora Tihar and the state-level women's conference at his residence today. A large number of women visited the Chief Minister's residence to celebrate this traditional festival of Chhattisgarh with great enthusiasm. The women felt delighted at being showered with love and affection reminiscent of their "Mayka" (mother's house). Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, while interacting with the women on this occasion, said that Teeja-Pora is an important traditional festival of Chhattisgarh that symbolises the happiness of mothers and sisters. 

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, along with his wife Mrs. Mukteshwari Baghel and his family members, participated in the program. The Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat and the Chairman of the State Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan were also present on this occasion.

While mentioning the schemes run by the state government in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel in the interest of women, the beneficiaries Mrs. Sarita Sahu, Mrs. Jyoti Mithlesh, Mrs. Shanti Chandra, Mrs. Rekha Sahu, Mrs. Jayanti, and Mrs. Urvashi Verma, etc., shared their experiences. While addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that women occupy a crucial place in society. In Chhattisgarh, we have been continuously working to enhance the dignity and status of women since the beginning. Every possible initiative is being taken to make women economically and socially prosperous. To achieve this goal, many new schemes and programs are being implemented effectively. 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that, as a result of the work being done in the interest of women in Chhattisgarh, a lot of change in their situation can be seen today. They are progressing rapidly in the state, not only economically but also socially. He said that a large number of women are engaged in economic activities in the Gauthans constructed under the Godhan NYAY Yojana in the state. Similarly, through schemes like forest produce collection, BIHAN, etc., resources for income and employment have become easily available to them.

Currently, lakhs of women in the state are getting direct benefits from it. He mentioned in detail the schemes run in public interest, including Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana, Swami Atmanand School, Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana, etc.

Addressing the conference, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that Bhilai is known for its steel plant, and this magnificent steel plant was established by Nehruji.

 Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that from managing homes to having a fulfilling career to supporting their families, women in Chhattisgarh are at the forefront everywhere.   

 Chhattisgarh has always had the legacy of Gender Equality.  

 In Chhattisgarh, women have a respectable position in the family and society.  Chhattisgarh state is also ahead in terms of gender ratio.

From taking care of children, to pursuing higher education, to managing household chores, and making strides in their careers, women have accomplished themselves in every aspect of their lives.

Chattisgarh operates with the cooperation of men and women. Our state has always maintained the tradition of giving women the same status as men.

The Chhattisgarh government has worked actively to strengthen the condition of farmers. Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi has keenly observed how our state works by viewing the stalls. We have established BPOs. We have set up garment factories. We have always endeavoured to usher in economic prosperity.

We have issued ration cards. We have introduced schemes like the Half Bijli Bill Yojana. This scheme wasn't available in Bhilai earlier, but now people from the city are also reaping the benefits from the schemes.

As the Chief Minister mentioned her Baura game performance, Smt. Priyanka Gandhi responded with a warm smile

During his address, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel mentioned, "When Priyanka didi played Bhaura (Indian spinning top), I initially thought she might struggle to play with it. However, she performed exceptionally well, and I was pleasantly surprised." In response to this, Smt.  Priyanka Gandhi gave a warm smile.

*We have ensured distribution of ration cards, introduced Bijli Bill Half Scheme. Earlier, it was not available in Bhilai township, now the availability has been ensured.

*Rahul Gandhi always says that every person should feel that the government belongs to him. Even during the challenging time of pandemic, we made strenuous efforts to save people from economic recession.

*Today we have among us a large number of Mitanins and Aanganbadi workers from various parts of Chhattisgarh, beaming with joy, as their honorarium was increased from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 in five years.

*We have implemented the Old Pension Scheme. We have hiked the Dearness Allowance. We have waived off the loans of self-help groups. To empower our sisters, we have increased the limit to loan amount for women's groups. We are providing loans at three percent interest. We are making dedicated efforts to empower women and to provide them equal opportunities. The amount of aid provided under Kanya Vivah Yojana has also been increased.

*We have declared public holiday on Hareli Tihaar, Teeja and other such local festivals. We celebrated Teeja at CM House. Our efforts glorified the tradition of 'Bore Baasi' at an international level. Statue of Chhattisgarh Mahtari has been installed in the collectorate premise. We gave Chhattisgarh its very own State Song.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel stated that the construction of model Jaitkham, Krishna Kunj, and the Vangaman Paripath must be completed.

 .*I am pleased to announce the implementation of the Chhattisgarh Mahtari Promotion Scheme(Chhattisgarh Mahtari Sanvardhan Yojana), which aims to enhance cultural heritage and tourism in the region.

We provide financial assistance every three months to farmers and landless workers by transferring funds directly to their accounts with the push of a button.

I asked many women what they were doing before this, and they mentioned that they had only recently received such opportunities.

One was a young doctor who travels from village to village distributing medicines. There were also some young girls who made cow dung-based materials and are a part of self-help groups. It's remarkable how much progress can be achieved by joining such groups. Listening to their stories, I realized that 'Chhattisgarh Mahtari' is carrying the cultural heritage on one hand and technology on the other.

We take immense pride in Bhilai, and the work accomplished here is truly unique.

Alongside Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, there were other great leaders who fought for our independence. This nation was built upon their principles.

I once accompanied my father on a tour to Amethi. He personally drove the jeep. When we arrived in a village and began interacting with the local people, a woman began loudly expressing her dissatisfaction. I was taken aback by how she was scolding my father. She was complaining about the poor condition of the road and questioned what he had done to improve it. This was the politics of that era when even the Prime Minister felt a direct responsibility to the public. I asked my father if he was upset by her words, but he replied, 'No, it was her responsibility, and it was both his and our duty to diligently perform our work.'

*All the schemes being implemented for women, were formulated with the belief that women are the backbone of this country. They are the key factor for development and well-being of their family as well as the society.

*Chief Minister himself had underlined the fact that women are skillfully living up to the responsibility of both the families. I know that the ones who sleep last at night are women. Women build the future of our next generation.

*Bhupesh Baghel ji's government is implementing several important schemes with an aim to empower each one of you. More than 10 lakh women have joined the self-help groups. They have started enterprises, playing an active role in the economic development of the state.

*Today I met the members of many such women self-help groups. They told me about the groups earning lakhs of rupees through their enterprises. The Government has also increased the honorarium of Mitanins, Anganbadi workers and assistants.

*Through 'Dai Didi Clinic' initiative of Chhattisgarh Government, women now have access to free healthcare services. Pregnant women are being provided nutritious food through Mahtari Jatan Yojana. Loans of women self-help groups worth crores of rupees were waived off.

Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayta Yojana gave a major boost to the cause of women empowerment.

Thousands of women got employment under the Mission Clean City project. The state government has implemented many such schemes for the well-being and empowerment of our mothers and sisters.

*Through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers of Chhattisgarh are receiving the highest price of paddy in the country.

*Millet Mission is yeilding benefits on multiple levels, being appreciated across the country and abroad.

*Stray cattle is a common problem across the country. Women have to guard their fields at night. But in Chhattisgarh, this problem has been resolved through Gauthans. I say this with conviction at every opportunity I get that the solution to this problem is in the Chhattisgarh Model of Development.

*As soon as the government came to power, loans of farmers were waived off. More than 5 lakhs forest pattas were distributed. Lakhs of BPL families have received free treatment facility of up to Rs 5 lakhs. Children from weaker sections of society are getting quality education with modern resources.

The petition concerning PSC selection was heard before the Honorable High Court, and as per the information received from the Advocate General's Office, State Government has given a statement before the court that the matter will be thoroughly investigated and based on the investigation, response will be submit to the Honorable Court. The Government has also stated before the court that till the next hearing of the case, the candidates accused, who have not been appointed, will not be finalized further and those who have been appointed will be subjected to the order of the Honorable Court, as the case may be.

Taking the above statement on record, the Honorable Court has scheduled the next hearing of the petition after a week and has directed the State Government and the PSC to investigate the authenticity of the claims enlisted by the petitioner. The petitioner has been directed to make the selected persons a party in the case and make the prescribed amendments in his petition. The petitioner has also been warned by the court that if the information given by him is found to be false then he will be subjected to appropriate action.

Chief Minister Mr Bhupesh Baghel said that the schools in naxal-affected areas that were destroyed by the naxal violence, are now filled with the chirpy voice of students reciting poems and learning lessons. Highlighting the transformation in Bijapur, he recalled speaking to children in such schools, and admired how fluently they were conversing in English.

Today, Chief Minister inaugurated structures worth Rs 123 crore and performed the Bhoomipujan for substructures worth Rs 334 crore. At the program, Mr. Baghel also distributed goods to the beneficiaries under various schemes.  He inaugurated the Bijapur Government Factory in Eentapal and also observed ongoing activities there. He inspected the Rural Industrial Park, and inaugurated a Central Library constructed at a cost of Rs 4 crore. He unveiled the statue of 'Chhattisgarh Mahatari' in  the Collectorate premises.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Baghel felicitated five athletes from the Bijapur Sports Academy who had participated in the Asia Cup competition held in Japan and China and also honoured Pramila Telam, Kamala Telam, and Isha Kudiyam, for participating in the First Tribal Khelo India National competition held in Bhubaneswar.

On the occasion, Chief Minister announced the renaming of Bijapur District Hospital to Mahadev Rana Government District Hospital Bijapur. He also announced the renaming of Usur Chowk in Aavapalli, Bijapur, to Nagur Dorla Chowk. Moreover, he renamed the Javanga (Geedam) New Government Model College to Veerangana Masak Devi Nag Government Model College. Furthermore, he announced the opening of new paddy procurement centers in Cherpal, Vardelli, Sankanpalli, and Papanpalli, as well as new primary schools in Madepur and Jarapalli.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel reflected on the significant changes in Bijapur, citing the development of infrastructure, job opportunities, and increased agricultural production. He highlighted the improvement in the lives of tribal communities, the distribution of land rights, and the implementation of various welfare programs. He also mentioned the growth in businesses such as showrooms for tractors and motorcycles, as well as the rise in textile manufacturing units and local income.

He emphasized that the government has worked for the welfare of all sections of society, including the backward classes and scheduled tribes. He noted the progress in education, healthcare, and rural development in the region. Chief Minister also praised the participation of local youth in the Bastar Fighter program.

 Chief Minister said that 200 schools which were shut down due to naxal activities in Bijapur district have been reopened.  14 Swami Atmanand English Medium Schools have been opened in Bijapur district.  Today, 300 youth from Bijapur alone have got jobs in Bastar Fighter.  Teachers have been recruited.  In these 5 years, more than 20 thousand ration cards were issued in the interior areas.  Today more than 20 hospitals are operating in this region. Doctors are deployed and quality health care services are being provided.  We have issued individual, forest rights and community forest right pattas to tribal people. We have also given community lease to Devguri and Devtadhami.  Patta has been issued for backward class and scheduled caste people as well.  Solar pumps have been installed.  Electricity supply has been facilitated.  Last year, during the Bhent Mulakat programme, funds were sought for maintenance of the ponds which were built during the time of raha-maharajas.  We have sanctioned funds for the maintenance of such ponds.

 Chief Minister said that earlier even bicycle showrooms were a rare sight here, today there are eight tractor showrooms in this region.  Motorcycle showrooms have been opened because of the growing demand. Today, every panchayat has tractors.  Government schemes and policies have brought such major transformation in past 5 years.  Earlier Tendupatta was procured for Rs 2500, today it is being procured at Rs 4000. Mahua, Kodo-Kutki Ragi are also being procured at fair price today.   People's income has increased.  We have implemented PESA law.  We are providing transportation facilities to remote and inaccessible areas.  We have increased the amount of grant amount for hostel children.  Old pension scheme is being implemented.  Honorarium of Anganbadi workers and assistants has been increased.

At the program, Minister in charge of the district and Industries Minister Mr Kawasi Lakhma also addressed the audience, acknowledging the rapid progress under Chief Minister Mr Bhupesh Baghel's leadership.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel attended the event organised by Chhattisgarh Brahmin Vikas Parishad at Bilaspur's Science College on Sunday. He laid the foundation stone for the construction of a multipurpose complex building for Chhattisgarh’s Brahmin community in Bilaspur city. He also inaugurated renovation work worth Rs 1.85 crore for Swami Atmanand Government English Medium College in Bilaspur and dedicated a new government college to Beltara.

During the event, Mr. Baghel honoured 60 senior members and young talents of the Vipra community with shawls and mementos on behalf of the community. The Chief Minister also unveiled the socio-cultural magazine "Saryu Dwij", published by the Brahmin community. The Panchayat and Rural Development Minister, Mr. Ravindra Choubey, chaired the program organised by the Chhattisgarh Brahmin Vikas Parishad.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel emphasised the importance of having dedicated community halls for various community activities and educational purposes. He highlighted that, despite prosperity, many communities struggle to construct such facilities. To address such issues, the Chhattisgarh Government has allocated land to communities at both district and state levels. Over the past five years, the state government has actively promoted Chhattisgarh’s culture and folk traditions, leading to the revitalization of festivals, cuisine, and traditional games. Mr. Baghel also mentioned the growing significance of villages in the state, transforming them into cultural, economic, and intellectual hubs and expanding beyond their traditional agricultural roles.

Minister Mr. Ravindra Choubey expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for granting land to the Brahmin community in the state, acknowledging the community's significant contributions to various movements in Chhattisgarh. He emphasised the Brahmin community’s role in imparting knowledge and guidance to people from diverse backgrounds. Mr. Choubey also acknowledged the Chief Minister's focus on agriculture for curbing rural migration and attracting urban dwellers to villages. Advisor to the Chief Minister, Mr. Pradeep Sharma, highlighted the Chief Minister's efforts to revive and preserve the culture and folk traditions of Chhattisgarh, giving them a renewed sense of identity.  Transport Department conducting an intensive checking campaign at all 16 check posts in the state

The Transport Department has initiated various security measures as per the directives of the Election Commission to maintain law and order amid the preparation of the upcoming Chhattisgarh Assembly Elections 2023. The department is conducting an intensive checking campaign at 16 toll posts with seven flying squad teams.

For the upcoming election, the Transport Department has started rigorous checking of four-wheelers, goods-carrying vehicles, and individuals deemed suspicious at all checkpoints. Authorities are focusing on detecting unauthorised transportation of cash, liquor, gold, silver, and other valuables without legal documents.

Ahead of the upcoming elections, the Election Commission has issued essential directives to all departments. In response to the directives, Transport Commissioner Mr. Dipanshu Kabra has instructed the Enforcement Branch Officers to conduct rigorous vehicle checking and take stringent measures against the transportation of prohibited materials in compliance with these guidelines. The Transport Department is conducting thorough vehicle checking at 16 border checkposts with seven flying squad teams within the state to ensure continuous vigilance.

Lord Vishwakarma is considered the deity of construction and creativity. He is also known as the first architect of the world.  Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana : Malnourished children are being provided free health check-up, medicines and consultation facility from pediatricians

Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana is being conducted with an aim to reduce the rate of malnutrition in the state by providing nourishment and required facilities to the malnourished children. Under this scheme, about 1 lakh 46 thousand children have been brought out of the cycle of malnutrition in the year 22-23.

Through Mukhyamantri Bal Sandarbh Yojana, severely malnourished children are provided medical check-up facilities, medicines prescribed by doctors and consultation with pediatricians as per requirement. This facility is provided in every development block by marking 2 days in a month as reference days. Infections in children are identified through medical examination. Health checkup facility of worth up to a maximum of Rs 300 is provided in private medical institutes.

Under the scheme, medicines of up to a maximum of Rs 500 per beneficiary are provided in a year and if necessary, medicines worth more than this amount are also provided after consultation with the medical officer concerned. There is a provision of an honorarium of Rs 1000 and travel expenses up to Rs 500 as a mark of respect for the services of private pediatricians. Moreover, funds are also provided to Anganbadi workers to meet the expense of commute for health checkup of malnourished children.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has greeted the people of state on Hindi Diwas. He stated that the official language Hindi is extremely rich and vibrant, with a comprehensive nature. Its script, Devanagari, is one of the oldest and most scientific scripts in the world. Hindi is a continuously evolving language. Its vocabulary draws from both Sanskrit and numerous indigenous and foreign languages.He emphasised  that due to the simplicity of Hindi, He mentioned that Hindi, being a simple language ,has played a crucial role in uniting the country under one thread. The qualities of Hindi elevate it beyond just a language and establish it as a culture. Today, Hindi has become the language of the masses.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel also quoted the famous poet Bharatendu Harishchandra, who said, ,,Nij Bhasha Unnati Aahe, Sab Unnati Ko Mul." This means that without the advancement of one's mother tongue, the progress of any society is not possible. He urged everyone to work with determination to uphold the dignity and importance of all official languages.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday performed Bhoomipujan and laid the foundation stone for three significant projects including 'Commercial Hub,' 'Aerocity,' and 'Shaheed Smarak' in Sector 35 of Atal Nagar Nava Raipur.

In his address on this momentous occasion, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel emphasized the significance of the day, noting that it marked the foundation stone laying of the country's largest wholesale commercial market in the Nava Raipur. This development is expected to generate employment opportunities for lakhs of people in the state.

Chief Minister stated that these Bhoomipujans, foundation stone laying events, and inaugurations are being carried out with a future-oriented perspective. The people of the state had expectations from us, and to fulfil these expectations, we have taken a significant stride forward.

Shri Baghel stressed that it is the government's responsibility to create a conducive environment for people to prosper, and they have successfully done so for the state's farmers. Additionally, efforts have been made to enhance school education, promote Chhattisgarh's rich culture, and boost tourism within the state.

Furthermore, Shri Baghel mentioned that the government is actively working to foster an environment favourable for industrial growth. Businessmen to get plots at Rs 540 per sqft in Nava Raipur's Commercial Hub

During the programme, Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel responded to the demands of the business community by making a significant announcement. He declared that commercial plots would be allocated to businessmen in the Commercial Hub of Nava Raipur at the rate of Rs 540 per sqft. Additionally, he mentioned that the state government would bear the additional cost required for the construction of the Commercial Hub due to this announcement.

While presiding over the programme, Housing and Environment Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar stated that the Chhattisgarh Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, is actively working to ensure economic stability for the common people. He stressed that the government's foremost priority is to create employment opportunities, thus ensuring continuous development in Chhattisgarh.

The 'Commercial Hub' is being developed in an area spanning 1083 acres within sectors 23, 24, 34, 35, and 40 of Nava Raipur, with the goal of promoting investment and commercial activities. Similarly, to improve passenger facilities, stimulate commercial growth in the airport vicinity, and generate employment opportunities, 'Aerocity' is being established in a designated 216.63-acre area near Swami Vivekananda Airport in the villages of Baroda and Ramchandi.

The 'Shaheed Smarak' is being established in the VIP Battalion in the village Parsada (Sector-3) in Nava Raipur, covering an area of 13 acres.
