The collector will receive the award from the hands of the President on January 7 in New Delhi

In a bid to make district administration easy and accessible, an innovative website was created by the Bilaspur district administration as per the instructions of the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel. This website has been selected to receive a National Platinum Award for its innovative features and President Smt. Draupadi Murmu will honor the website of District Administration Bilaspur with the National Platinum Award in a program organized at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on January 7. It is noteworthy that the Bilaspur district administration’s website has been selected for the National Platinum Award by the Department of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India. District Collector Mr. Saurabh Kumar will receive this award from the hands of the President. NIC Bilaspur's DIO Arvind Yadav and Assistant DIO Manoj Kumar Singh will also be present on this occasion. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated the team of District Administration Bilaspur for this achievement.

 It is worth mentioning that this prestigious award is given to the government websites which stand first in different categories. The website of Bilaspur District Administration has been given this award under the category of Best Web and Mobile Initiative in Compliance with GIGW and accessibility Guidelines. The website of Bilaspur district has made innovation in the implementation of Central Government's flagship scheme Digital India. In addition to uploading information about Central and State Government schemes in the website prepared by NIC (National Informatics Center), special facilities have also been provided for the differently-abled. Visually impaired people can also listen to the information given in this website through software. Wherever the mouse cursor will go, the written information will be converted into voice notes. However, this facility is currently available in English only. In the coming days, this facility will also be provided in Hindi. For this, the technical experts of NIC have already started working on the software.

 Raipur, 07January 2023/ On the occasion of the Chherchhera festival, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel was seen seeking donations from street to street with a bag in his hand on the streets of Mathpara in Raipur. The Chief Minister walked through the streets for almost 30 minutes, collecting donations from everyone. Residents of Mathpara stepped out of their homes when they saw Chief Minister Mr. Baghel and dropped grains, vegetables, and other items in his bag as a donation. Donations were made with enthusiasm by ladies, older people, and young children. During this time, the Chief Minister also delivered the money as a donation to the children.

 Meanwhile, on the Chherchhera festival, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited Dudhadhari Math and prayed to God, wishing the people of the state prosperity and happiness. On this occasion, Mr. Baghel expressed his best wishes to everyone for Chherchhera and stated that the festival of Chherchhera sends a strong message because donations are given and received on this day. Giving charity is a show of generosity, whereas accepting charity is a symbol of ego destruction. The money donated in Chherchhera is used for public welfare.

 Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, stated that our government has declared all local festivities to be public holidays. We enthusiastically celebrate all Chhattisgarh festivities, such as Teeja, Pora, Hareli, and others, at the Chief Minister's residence. He said that farmers grow crops in the field and provide food to everybody. Food grains are donated by all classes, including our Annadata farmers. As stated by the Chief Minister, by the grace of Lord Balaji, there has been a very good harvest this year, with 85 lakh metric tonnes of paddy procured so far, and not a single farmer has complained. All of the farmers were also compensated immediately. Prior to the program, the Chief Minister was also weighed against paddy. It is worth noting that, as with every year, Chherchhera and Punni Mela will be held on the grounds of Dudhadhari Math, where a great number of people will be present to give and receive donations. A delegation of students and teachers from Government High School Madrakuhi in the Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai district met with the chief minister, accompanied by Khairagarh MLA Smt. Yashoda Nilambar Verma. The students thanked the Chief Minister for including the new college in Jalbandha in the state government's last year budget, as well as to establish Swami Atmanand English Medium School for free excellent English education for poor children.

Atmanand English Medium Schools, as stated by the students, have been established in Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai and Salhewara. This gives our siblings the chance to receive a high-quality education in an English-speaking atmosphere. The Chief Minister encouraged the students to work hard and study diligently and wished them a bright future. The kids also expressed gratitude to the chief minister for establishing Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai as a district.

School students Nirjala Verma and Niharika Singh told the Chief Minister that the opening of the college in Jalbandha would provide many advantages for students in this area to pursue higher education. Because one will no longer need to travel outside to study, the educational level here will shift instantly. The girl students thanked the Chief Minister for Swami Atmanand English Medium School, which is established with the goal of delivering better education to the state's poor students, and stated that with the school's opening, poor children are also receiving a good education. Raipur, TNINS / On the invitation of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly attended the Millet Luncheon organized at Vidhan Sabha on Wednesday.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that he enjoyed all the millet delicacies but liked ragi pudding the best. He further said that year 2023 has been declared as Millet year. Last year, we procured 52 thousand quintals of Kodo, Kutki, Ragi. Chhattisgarh is the only state of the country that procures Kodo Kutki Ragi at support price and this procurement has largely benefited the farmers and enhanced the production. He said that millets have high nutritional value and hence these should be incorporated in daily diet. 

Recently Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has praised the Millet Mission of Chhattisgarh. And as per his request and suggestions, Millet Cafes are being opened in Mantralaya and Divisional C-mart Centers.

It is notable that a luncheon was organized for all the members of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly with the aim of popularizing and showcasing the dishes made from millet. In the same sequence, various delicious items made of Kodo, Kutki and Ragi were prepared and served for the lunch on Wednesday.

  All kinds of delicacies made of millets were served to the MLAs at the Millets luncheon. These dishes were inspired by the indigenous cuisine of Chhattisgarh. Ragi soup, ragi pakodas, kodo bhajiya, bajra and jaggery pudding, kutki fare, ragi, kutki cheela for starters, Chhattisgarhi bajra curry, laal bhaji, sweet potatoes, Kodo veg Pulao, jowar, bajra, ragi roti and paratha in the main course were relished by all. Moreover, Ragi Kutki's Cupcake, Ragi Ka Halwa, and Kodo's Dry Fruits Kheer were served in the desert.

Appreciated by the Prime Minister

Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi had recently appreciated the Millet Mission of Chhattisgarh. During his stay in Delhi, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had informed Prime Minister Mr. Modi about the Millets Mission being run in the state, on which Mr. Modi had advised to open Millets Cafe in Raipur. It is notable that the Millet Mission was started by the state government from 01 December 2021with chief objective of promoting the cultivation of millets (Kodo, Kutki, Ragi, Jowar etc.), to promote the processing of millets and to encourage inclusion of these nutritious millets in the daily diet. 

The biggest processing unit in Kanker

State Government is procuring Kodo, Kutki and Ragi at minimum support price through Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Association. In the year 2021-22, nearly 52,728 quintals of Kodo, Kutki and Ragi worth Rs 16.03 crore were procured. To promote the processing of millet in the state, processing centers have been set up at the local level and a millet processing center of 5,000 ton capacity has been set up in the private sector by Avani Ayurveda in Kanker district. This is Asia's largest millets processing unit.

Millets included in the mid-day meal menu to remove malnutrition Millets have also been included under the mid-day meal program conducted in Chhattisgarh. With an aim to eradicate malnutrition in the state, children in schools are being served the dishes made of millets in the mid-day meal. These include cookies made of millets, laddoos and soya chikki.

Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to procure millets at support price

It is noteworthy that Chhattisgarh is the first state in the country to procure millets at the support price. Under this mission operated in 14 districts of the state, the support price of Kodo-Kutki-Ragi has been fixed, and the arrangements have been made for collection through women self-help groups under the Chhattisgarh Small Forest Produce Cooperative Union. Farmers are being provided exchange grants for millet crops under the ambit of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Expert advice has been made available to the farmers to further enhance crop productivity. For this, an MoU has been signed between the Indian Institute of Millet Research, Hyderabad (IIMR) and 14 District Collectors of the state. IIMR has also taken the responsibility of providing good quality seeds of Kodo, Kutki, Ragi, and proper training of millet farming to the farmers, besides extending the support in setting up the seed bank.

Hardworking women of Chhattisgarh are being provided better opportunities through multiactivity centers set up in Gauthans. And making the best of these opportunities and resources, women of the state are writing a new story of self-dependence. Among such talented women is Mrs. Sonmati Kushwaha, a member of Akash women self-help group, who works in the community farm operated in the Gauthan of Basantpur village of Balrampur-Ramanujganj district. Sonmati has earned Rs 7 lakh in the last 3 years by cultivating mushrooms. This has not only boosted her confidence, but has also helped her meet the financial needs of her family.

It may be noted that financial empowerment of women has been among the top priorities of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. In the same sequence, gauthans are being developed as multiactivity centers, where women of self-help groups are being provided the guidance and training for livelihood enhancement.

Horticulture Departmet is not only encouraging the women groups in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district to produce mushroom, but is also providing the required training and guidance for the mushroom cultivation. Besides, the department is also providing seeds, polythene bags, chalk powder to the women groups for this work. As a result of these strategic efforts of the Department, the women of Akash women self-help group have become self-reliant by cultivating mushrooms, bee keeping and producing Kashmiri chillies in the community yard of Basantpur Gauthan.

Mrs. Sonmati Kushwaha further told that earlier she was dependent on simple farming work for livelihood, facing great difficulty to make the both ends meet. She had to face a lot of difficulties in raising the family, bearing the expenses of children's education. Under the ambitious Suraji Gram Yojana of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, gauthan was opened in Basantpur and was brought under Bihan. In this gauthan, Horticulture Department started providing the training in mushroom production, Kashmiri chilli cultivation, and beekeeping. 

Sonmati took a loan from the group and started mushroom cultivation at home

      Mrs. Sonmati Kushwaha told that she took a loan of Rs. 60 thousand from the group and started mushroom cultivation at home. In the initial phase itself, she earned an income of Rs. 2 lakh. Later, she also started the work of beekeeping and Kashmiri chili cultivation. She produced 60 kg of honey and earned Rs 70 thousand. Mrs. Kushwaha said that she had daily production of 20 to 30 kg of mushrooms, by selling which she has earned an income of Rs 7 lakh in the last 3 years. With this income, she is comfortably fulfilling the financial needs of her family.

The state-level Chhattisgarhiya Olympics 2022-23 is to be held from January 08 to 10, 2023 at various sports grounds and the Indoor Stadium in the capital Raipur. The opening ceremony of the state-level Chhattisgarhia Olympics will be held on January 8 at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Indoor Stadium from 11 am. Competitions of 14 sports disciplines in the Chhattisgarhiya Olympics are to be held at Sardar Balbir Singh Juneja Stadium, Outdoor Stadium Budhapara, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Vishwavidyalaya Sports Complex, and Swami Vivekananda Stadium Kota.

Various cultural programs will be performed by the participants in the opening and closing ceremonies. There will also be an attractive fireworks display at the closing ceremony. The closing ceremony will be organized at Swami Vivekananda Stadium Kota in the evening of January 10 at Raipur. It may be noted that earlier the state-level Chhattisgarhiya Olympics was to be held from January 7 to 9 was fixed for the state-level sports competition, which has been changed from January 8 to 10.

 55 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted from the societies for custom milling

Under the guidance of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the amount of paddy procured at support price from farmers of the state is increasing consistently towards the estimated target of 110 lakh metric tonnes. It will continue till January 31, 2023. Officials of the Food department informed that 80.55 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have been procured, in lieu of which Rs.16,217 crore has been paid to 19.33 lakh farmers of the state under the bank linking system till now. 

It is noteworthy that same as the last year, under the able guidance of the Chief Minister, along with paddy procurement this year, the work of custom milling is also under-process smoothly. Till now DO has been issued for the lifting of 68 lakh metric tonnes of paddy, in lieu of which 55 metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted by the millers.

Officials informed that today i.e. on January 02, 1.65 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have been purchased from 44 thousand farmers in the state, apart from this, more than 23 thousand tonnes of paddy have also been purchased from the farmers through tokens obtained online. Nearly 7608 tokens have been issued online through the 'Token Tuhar Haath' app and more than 55.44 thousand tokens have been issued by other means for the next paddy procurement day.

This year 25.92 lakh farmers have been registered in the state and about 2.26 lakh are newly registered farmers. 2600 procurement centers have been set up for paddy procurement in the state. Normal paddy is being procured at the rate of Rs.2040 per quintal and grade-A paddy is being procured at Rs.2060 per quintal. A strict vigil is also being kept on the system of paddy procurement in the state. Goods carriers are being inspected at check posts to prevent illegal transportation of paddy from border states.

Chief Minister Mr Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to former Lok Sabha MP, former Union Minister, and pioneer of journalism Mr Chandulal Chandrakar on his birth anniversary which falls on January 1. Recalling the contribution of Mr Chandrakar to Chhattisgarh, Mr. Baghel said that Chandulal Chandrakar ji has an invaluable contribution in the formation of Chhattisgarh state. He gave a new direction to the state's movement as the president of the all-party forum. He was elected to the Lok Sabha five times and continued to serve the public. He did remarkable work during his tenure as minister of important departments like tourism, civil aviation, agriculture, and rural development.

Mr. Baghel said that Chandulal Ji was involved in active journalism before politics and earned a lot of fame as a journalist in the country and abroad. He was the first person from Chhattisgarh to reach the post of editor of a national newspaper. He raised many crucial matters with his writing. In order to encourage value-based journalism, the Government of Chhattisgarh has started to give Chandulal Chandrakar Fellowship in the field of journalism in his memory. Mr. Chandulal Chandrakar, who brought glory to Chhattisgarh in the country with fearless and value-based journalism, is a source of inspiration for the new generation.

Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, stated that Chhattisgarh is paving the way for the development of the state by following the path of development, goodwill, peace, and love with the great message given by Guru Ghasidas Baba ‘Mankhe Mankhe Ek Saman’. By following the path of guidance shown by Baba, one can contribute to the well-being of humanity. Truth is God and God is Truth, and we are all his children. 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was conversing with a large crowd at the conclusion of the state-level Guru Ghasidas Baba Lok Mahotsav and Jayanti Samaroh 2022, which was held at Nawagarh, a development block under Bemetara district.

On behalf of the society, Parliamentary Secretary and MLA Nawagarh Gurudayal Singh Banjare made the Chief Minister wear a turban as a symbol of honour. On this occasion, the Chief Minister prayed to Baba Guru Ghasidas for the happiness, prosperity, and well-being of the state. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel directed the collector to hand over government land in the name of Guru Balak Das Seva Samiti to SatnamSamaj in accordance with legal procedure. In addition, he also made an announcement of one crore rupee for the construction of Jaitkham and a building in Nawagarh.

 According to the Chief Minister, the Satnami community is progressing by following the message and path of Baba Guru Ghasidas. He stated that the Satnami community has not only been educated by Baba's message but is also contributing greatly to the development of Chhattisgarh and its society is also being aware and leading. He stated that by drawing strength from Baba's blessings and message, the youth of the Satnami community is progressing and helping Chhattisgarh flourish. According to the Chief Minister, Baba Guru Ghasidas' message is still applicable to the entire world today and is not just for one person, one society, one state, or one country.

 As stated by the Chief Minister, if we incorporate even one phrase or one line from Baba Guru Ghasidas' message into our lives, then our entire lives will have a purpose. He stated that Baba Guru Ghasidas had communicated his message to society in a simple manner. The message he delivered will live in the collective human society's memory. According to Guru Ghasidas, Satnam is the essence and motivates all living things to stay alert for the truth at all times. Similarly to this, Guru Ghasidas' teaching that "truth is the ornament of man" always motivates us to live our lives according to the genuine path and the true virtues.

The Chief Minister awarded the winners of the State Level Open Panthi Dance Competition.

On this occasion, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel awarded cash prizes and trophies to the winners of the state-level Open Panthi dance competition at the Government High School Ground in Nawagarh. The winning team, Satsang Balika Panthi Party Nikum Durg, received a trophy and one lakh 51 thousand rupees. Similarly, Adarsh Panthi party Deori Mungeli got Rs 1 lakh 10 thousand and trophy for the second position and Satya ke Prachar Panthi Navyuvak Pitora (Nandani Ahiwara) got Rs 75 thousand for securing the third position.

Beneficiaries express gratitude towards the Chief Minister

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced financial assistance to various beneficiaries in the Balod district during the statewide Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan. Accordingly, the beneficiaries have been handed over the cheques for financial assistance. Parliamentary Secretary and Gunderdehi MLA Mr. Kunwar Singh Nishad handed over a cheque of Rs.2 lakh to Mrs. Devki Sahu for her education and a cheque of Rs.1 lakh to Kumari Gumja from a voluntary grant by visiting her residence.

MLA Mrs. Sangeeta Sinha and former MLA Mr. Bhaiyaram Sinha handed over a cheque of Rs.2 lakhs as financial assistance from the Chief Minister's voluntary grant to Mr. Shivendra Kumar for studies. He is hailing from the Sanjari-Balod assembly constituency. Similarly, a cheque of Rs.4 lakh was handed over to Ms. Jyoti Chakradhari for her performance in a national-level sports competition and Rs.1 lakh to Mrs. Asrita Dayal for treatment due to her weak economic condition. Both of them hail from the Dondilohara assembly constituency. The rainbow hues of Chhattisgarhi culture will be seen in the New Year's calendar

The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today unveiled the New Year calendar of the Chhattisgarh government in his residential office after a cabinet meeting. In the New Year calendar issued by the Chhattisgarh Government, the attractive pictures expressing the colorful culture of the state are making it look extremely beautiful. Through the New Year calendar, the new model of development created by the Chhattisgarh government in the fields of art, culture, food, festivities, sports, conservation and development of tourist places is being displayed. On the occasion of the calendar release, the members of the Council of Ministers, the Chief Secretary, and the Secretaries of all departments were also present. The picture of Chhattisgarh Mehatari on every page of the calendar, issued with the theme of Chhattisgarhiya Jagar, seems to symbolize the pride and honor of Chhattisgarh.

The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while releasing the 2023 calendar of the Chhattisgarh government, gave his New Year’s greetings and best wishes to everyone. The Chief Minister said that he is a common Chhattisgarhiya person. He has done everything that an ordinary Chhattisgarhi villager does in his daily life. His lifestyle has been like any other common man's, and inherently, he is still that common man. The Chhatttisgarhiya flair in his manners and behavior has always been there and will remain so.

He said that our culture is very ancient and prosperous. Our identity is governed by our culture. Culture isn’t created in a day, but is refined through hundreds of years and many generations to reach its current form. It is, therefore, a matter of pride for us. The New Year calendar of the Chhattisgarh government documents our cultural heritage.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel met the delegation of various communities and social organizations in Nandghat late on Thursday. He asked the representatives about the social activities of their respective communities besides taking their feedback about the implementation of government schemes and programmes.

Chief Minister approved a financial grant of Rs 20 lakh to Nirmalkar Samaj for construction of community hall, Rs 15 lakh to Kalar Samaj for expansion of community building in Navagarh, Rs 15 lakh to Vaishnav Samaj for construction of compound in Nandghat cemetery, Rs 20 lakh to Vaishnav Samaj for construction of community hall in Navagarh and Rs 10 lakh for the land at other site and Rs 5 lakh for the renovation of the building of the Yadav Samaj.

On the demand of the representatives of Kevat Samaj for a hostel in Navagarh, community hall in Nandghat and Dadhi, the Chief Minister talked about providing land as per the rules. He told the representatives of the society to take maximum advantage of the fisheries policy, and biofloc will be given to the people of this community. Stating that this technique has been widely used in Kondagaon, he urged the community people to promote the same. The Chief Minister encouraged the Kevat community to practice fish farming with advanced technology. He said that fish farming should be done in all Gauthans. Loan will also be available for this. 

The Chief Minister told the delegation that locals of village Dadhi have taken advantage of the government schemes. There he met a villager who sold cow dung worth four lakhs and built a temple for Lord Krishna. He used his earnings in the interest of society. The delegation of Yadav Samaj expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for declaring Krishna Janmashtami as a dry day in the state.

The Chief Minister told the representatives of social organizations that the government has taken several decisions in the direction of social upliftment of the economically and socially weaker sections of the society. He told the representatives of Gadaria Samaj to get the people of the society to work in Ripa. For this, training will be given and loans will also be arranged. The Chief Minister told the delegation of Nirmalkar Samaj that the people of the society would be given work in Ripa. 

The Chief Minister also gave instructions to the officials regarding removal of encroachment from the community hall of Gadaria Samaj in Navagarh. The Chief Minister asked Sonkar, Sikh and other communities to apply for land according to the rules. The delegation of Sahu Samaj expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for declaring a public holiday on Karma Jayanti.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday reached Dadhi village of Nawagarh assembly constituency under the Bemetara district as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. Addressing the people present in Dadhi village, he said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh are buying agricultural land, investing in agriculture, and building the future of their children. Earlier farmers used to go to the moneylender's house, but now their money remains deposited in the bank. The money being given to the farmers through schemes is coming into the banking system, which will speed up development, this is a big change to bring prosperity to the farmers.

Chief Minister said, "Our state is a rice bowl, yet because of local circumstances, many people had to quit agriculture. Today, though, it appears that the situation has changed. Now farmers are happy in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, speaking at Bhent-Mulaqat, said that he came to the Nawagarh assembly constituency in Dadhi to take feedback and know about the ground reality of the schemes being implemented by the state government. He is accompanied by officials of the Mantralay and members of the assembly constituency. He further said that the purpose of this program is to directly interact with local people.

While discussing loan waiver and paddy procurement, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be released on March 31. Even after the COVID crisis, the state government continued to implement various public welfare schemes. The installments were released despite the challenging circumstances. He further said, "This is a beautiful time in Bemetara, crops of papaya, sugarcane, and banana are flourishing. I noticed no hay burning anywhere in Nawagarh. I appreciate you abiding by my request to stop the burning of hay and to donate it to gauthans". He said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh are happy, they are investing in agriculture, fulfilling their needs and so, progress and prosperity are on the rise.

Chief Minister's announcement for village Dadhi

Chief Minister has made various announcement for the Dadhi village which includes giving the full tehsil status to village Dadhi, opening of a Swami Atmanand English medium school, construction of a CC road from Sahda Dev Chowk to the main entrance of the village, a Community hall to be constructed in Dadhi, construction of road from Semaria to Sendri via Bhainsbod, renovation of Raja Bada, opening of a District Cooperative Bank branch in village Pratappur, a new high school for Chargawan and a new building for primary school at Tarke.

Gauthan committee maintains Gauthan with its own funds

Prabhuram, the President of the Damedih Gauthan Committee, said that their committee has received Rs. 6 lakhs. The money is being used for the maintenance of Gauthans. The Chief Minister said that India's socialist leaders always believed policies could not be made while sitting in air-conditioned rooms. The state government is creating schemes in the village and utilizing the money for the village. Prabhuram further said that they had always dreamed of this day. Even ancestors had this dream. Mahatma Gandhi had the same dream. Today, this dream is coming true. The state government under the able leadership of CM Mr.Bhupesh Baghel is using the village’s money for the development of the village.

Persons authorized by Divyangjan can also take ration from the ration shop

A beneficiary raised the issue of differently-abled people going to the ration shop to obtain rations, to which the Chief Minister responded that orders have been issued that in such a circumstance, authorized persons can also take rations according to rules if reaching the shop is a major challenge.

Gend Singh's loan of Rs 90,000 waived off

Verma said that he owns 4.5 acres of land. His debt worth Rs. 90,000 has been waived off. He has used the money for borewell mining. He has also done wire fencing to obtain the Rabi harvest. While interacting with the Chief Minister, Mr. Indru Sahu told that his loan of Rs.1 lakh has been waived off under the loan waiver scheme, he has also sold paddy, and the money has been credited into his account. Hearing this, the Chief Minister asked - what did he take for his wife, in reply Mr. Indru told that he has bought Kardhan for his wife and two daughters-in-law. A beneficiary of Rajiv Gandhi Kissan Nyay Yojana, Anita Sahu, said to the Chief Minister that she is educating her children with the help of the money she obtained from the scheme. The Chief Minister, while praising her, said that she has given the right direction to secure the future of her children.

During the Jan Chaupal, Neelam Sahu, a resident of village Dadhi, said that they have 4 members in the family and they get 40 kg of rice, and two kg of salt free of cost. They have to pay only for the sugar i.e. Rs 17. While interacting with the Chief Minister, Ashish Sinha praised Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. He urged to further increase the amount provided under the scheme. Chief Minister replied with a smile on his face and said that Rahul ji had also come and said the same thing. The amount was increased at that time.Chief Minister replied that the price of gas is fixed by the Central Government.

Godhan Nyay Yojana enabled Dulapa to bear her family's expenses

During the Jan Chaupal, when the Chief Minister asked about the Godhan Nyay Yojana, Dulapa Yadav said that she had sold 500 quintals of cow dung. She has received Rs.50,000, and she will soon receive another Rs.50,000. Furthermore, she does not own any farmland. however, she is able to run the house with the money she earns through  Godhan  Nyay Yojana. While interacting with the Chief Minister Mrs. Leela Sahu said that her group was formed in 2020 and they have earned Rs.2 lakh 82 thousand by selling vermicompost. They are also carrying out works related to Kodo. The Chief Minister praised them after hearing this.

Next installment under Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Yojana to be released on January 12

During the Jan Chaupal, Panna Lal, a member of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Umaria told the Chief Minister about the activities of the club and said that earlier there was no such wonderful scheme. They had organized Ramayana with this amount. Talking about the 'Chhattisgarhiya Olympics', Radhika said that after so many years she played traditional sports like fugdi. Her kids also played and they all enjoyed it a lot. Pradeep Pathak said that they had organized the competition in the village. On this, the Chief Minister said that the next installment will be distributed to the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club on January 12.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday reached Nandghat village of Nawagarh assembly constituency under Bemetara district as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. On the demand of public representatives and villagers, the Chief Minister has made several important announcements for this area. He commenced the program by garlanding the portrait of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and singing the state song. Parliamentary Secretary and MLA of Nawagarh Assembly Constituency Mr. Gurudayal Singh Banjare was present on the occasion.

Addressing the program, the Chief Minister said that he is at a state-wide campaign to take feedback and know about the ground reality of the implementation of schemes, whether people are getting the benefits of all the schemes or not and whether people are happy with the schemes or not. As soon as after taking the charge of the government, an order was passed to waive off the loans of the farmers. Lok Sabha MP Mr. Rahul Gandhi had given us 10 days time for loan waiver of farmers, and within 10 hours the government waived off the loan of about Rs.9 thousand crores of 19 lakh farmers for the welfare of the farmers of the state. Despite the constraints imposed by the Central government on purchasing paddy at the support price, the state government is buying paddy from farmers at the highest price possible through support price and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Under the scheme, three installments have been transferred to the farmers' account and the fourth installment is to be released on March 31. The Chief Minister said that the maximum support price is being given for sugarcane in the state. Kodo-Kutki is also being procured in the state at the support price, which is the only case in the whole country. This is the government of farmers, villages, poor, and laborers.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of various development works, worth Rs 57 crore 29 lakh 49 thousand for the proper development of Nawagarh assembly constituency. He inaugurated 46 developmental works worth Rs 35 crore 62 lakh 75 thousand and performed Bhumipujan of 14 development works worth Rs.21 crore 66 lakh 74 thousand.

Interacting with Chief Minister, a farmer Harish Mishra told that he is receiving the benefit of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He owns 50 acres of land, and the loan of Rs.12 lakh 50 thousand taken on this land has been waived off by the government. Farmer Mr. Bhagwat Nirmalkar said that he has 15 acres of land. Under the loan waiver scheme, a loan of Rs.1 lakh 12 thousand has been waived. They got their children married with the money they earned from selling paddy.

Interacting with the Chief Minister in English, Tanu Singh, a class 11 student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Nawagarh, said that she is receiving all the facilities in the school like private schools. Good education, a library, and sports facilities are available. Earlier she used to study in a private school, where a lot of money was spent. Mr. Lallu Raut thanked the Chief Minister for the Godhan Nyaya Yojana and sang a song in the beautiful Chhattisgarhi dialect based on the schemes of the state government. Appreciating him, the Chief Minister said that a glimpse of life's philosophy was seen in the song of Shri Lallu Raut. Nirmala Sahu of village Mohtara said that she is cultivating turmeric on 2 acres of land using the ‘Bari Yojana’ and by selling the turmeric, she has earned Rs.40,000. She praised the Godhan Nyay Yojana and said that she has earned Rs.3 lakh 24 thousand 7 hundred by selling vermicompost.

Umesh Kumar of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Group stated that his club has 35 members, all of them participated in the events. He said that the Mitan Club is a fantastic initiative for the development of young people. Mr. Janakram Sen, a beneficiary of the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Shramik Nyay Yojana, told that he is receiving the benefits of the scheme. So far he has received Rs.2000 in his account in 3 installments. Thanking the Chief Minister, he said that it is a very good scheme.

Mrs. Anjala Tiwari told that she bought sarees and jewelry by selling vermicompost. Thanking the Chief Minister, she said that women are becoming financially empowered with these schemes. Mr. Khubiram told that he has sold cow dung worth Rs. 40 thousand under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. He bought a mobile for Rs 10,000 from the money he earned.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the general public during Bhent-Mulaqat program in village Kathia (Ranka) of Berla development block in Bemetara assembly constituency, said that state government's scheme are bringing prosperity in the homes of the poor. Godhan Nyay Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Suraji Gaon Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Rural Landless Agricultural Laborer Justice Yojana, Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana are benefitting the common people. Mr. Baghel said that the aim of our government is to boost the income of common people, and all our schemes are formulated around this objective.

During the programme, Lakshmi Banjare, a resident of Anand village, told that her group Jai self-help group joined the Gauthan and started making vermicompost organic fertilizer. So far, her group has earned an income of Rs 10 lakh 14 thousand by selling vermicompost. There are 10 women members in the group, and each of them have earned Rs 1 lakh each. He told that the women of the group are supporting their families by selling organic fertilizers. Some have bought a TV, some could build a house, some have bought a scooty for their husband. Chief Minister said that these schemes have brought prosperity in the homes of the poor. At the Bhent-Mulaqat program, 65-year-old Kimina Banjare, a resident of Anand village, told that from the income she earned by selling vermicompost, she has bought a motorcycle for her husband and has also bought a TV set for the house. Chief Minister congratulated her on her financial empowerment.

Chief Minister made many announcements at the programme

Chief Minister made several announcements for the development of the area during the Bhent-Mulaqat program. He announced that Gram Panchayat Kusmi will be made a Nagar Panchayat,  besides construction of community hall, higher secondary school building in village Ranka-Kathia was also announced. Administrative approval for Chana Gheghri Ghat has also been announced.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said in his address to the programme that the state government has made schemes for every section of people in the state. State Government has made a scheme for Protection of Gauvansh as well. The main objective of the government is to bring positive changes in the lives of farmers and tribal people. He told that the universal PDS scheme has been formulated so that people of all sections of the state get the right to food. Our first decision after coming into power was to give loan waiver to the farmers, in which loans of 19 lakh farmers were waived off. Our government is implementing the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana for the farmers. Farmers will get its fourth installment on March 31.

Chief Minister said that the state government is giving the highest price for paddy to the farmers. The promise was 2500 but by including the support price and input subsidy, we are giving Rs 2640 and 2660 per quintal to the farmers for paddy. Chief Minister said that paddy procurement has been simplified for the convenience of the farmers. Online token arrangements have been made. Chief Minister commenced Bhent-Mulaqat program by garlanding the photo of Chhattisgarh Mahtari, lighting the lamp and singing the state song. Several public representatives including MLA Mr. Ashish Chhabra were present on the stage along with the Chief Minister.

During the program, farmer Kheduram told Chief Minister that he had 25 acres of land. He has sold paddy at the support price. He is getting the benefits of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, and awaiting the fourth installment of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Farmer Khedu Ram told that he practices organic farming, for this he makes organic manure in his own yard. His dream is to sell the organic crop abroad. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that for taking other crops instead of paddy, farmers are given Rs 10,000 per acre as exchange grant under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. For this, the farmer has to inform about the change of crop.

Farmer Derha Ram, a resident of village Chetwa, praised all the schemes made for the welfare of the farmers. He told that he has 2.50 acres of land, the loan taken on this land has been forgiven. Mrs. Yamuna, a resident of Kathia, told the Chief Minister that her ration card has not been issued after her request for the change of address. After listening to her problem, Chief Minister instructed the Collector to ensure the issuance of her ration card. Mrs. Shesh Kumari Dewangan, a resident of village Rampur, told that she bought anklets from the money earned by selling cow dung worth Rs.37,000. Mrs. Shesh Kumari appreciated the scheme and said that now cow dung has become precious commodity. Santoshi Puraina told that his ration card has been issies and she is recieving rice, salt and sugar every month.

In the programme, Mr. Deendayal Sahu, the beneficiary of Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, told that he has received good treatment that too free of cost under the scheme. Chief Minister told him that the state government has Dr. Khubchand Baghel Health Assistance Scheme, under which treatment up to Rs 5 lakh can be availed. Mr. Rooplal of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club told Chief Minister that there are 28 members in his club. They are participating in all social and cultural events.

Addressing the people he said this is the first time that people are holding a mic in front of a CM. People are telling their problems and views. This has never happened before. Our government is directly interacting with the public.

During the Jan Chaupal, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the state government has made various schemes for every section of society. The state government is interacting with people in the state-wide Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan and taking feedback about the implementation of schemes from the beneficiaries. People especially the rural populace are interacting with Chief Minister and telling their problems openly and directly to him. People's problems are also being solved in this program.

He said that it is the endeavor of the state government that the benefits of the schemes should reach the maximum number of people. The benefits of government schemes have reached the beneficiaries even during the pandemic. Discussing the loan waiver scheme, he said that when the scheme was implemented, some farmers had sold their paddy but their money was returned through loan waiver. About Rs.1200 crore were returned. Chief Minister asked the people about loan waiver, people raised their hands and said 'yes' in one voice. He said that the installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana is proven to be a boon for the farmers in their time of need. The money is needed the most during farming and festivals. The amount of this scheme is provided in four installments.

Bhuneshwari bought a secondhand car by selling vermicompost

During the Jan Chaupal, Mrs. Bhuneshwari of Sankara told their group is producing vermicompost and so far they have produced and sold Vermicompost worth Rs 5 lakh 38 thousand. All the members of the group are earning a good income. Bhuneshwari told that she bought a secondhand car recently, and she and her husband shared the expenditure on the car 50-50. Chief Minister appreciated her saying that their partnership is bringing joy to the family. Ramkhilavan Sahu of Keshadbari village told that he has two and a half acres of land. The loan of Rs.2 lakh 36 thousand has been waived off. He told that it is now very convenient to bear the expenses of the family.

Fancy store and rice mill by selling cow dung

Bharti Verma told that she started a fancy store by selling cow dung. She also started a mini rice mill has also been opened through which she is earning a good income. The Chief Minister praised her and asked how do you manage so much work. Ramkhilavan Vaishnav of Chikhali village told that he is a beneficiary of Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Majdoor Nyay Yojana. Till now three installments have been received, and this scheme is helping a lot. Balram Patel, the beneficiary of Chief Minister's Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana, told that he is getting regular benefits. The Chief Minister asked how much the money was needed, to which Balram said - "kabar laghi kaka"( why to pay, uncle).

During the Jan Chaupal, the Chief Minister told the villagers about the 'Mukhyamantri Vishesh Swasthya Sahayata' Yojana and said that for the treatment of serious diseases, financial aid up to Rs.20 lakh is provided under this scheme. Tripti Rajput, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School told that she is studying in Devarbija. Speaking in English, Tripti said that her school has a proper playground. She is studying well in school. A local person from the public told about the problem related to his eye, on which the Chief Minister, taking a quick decision, announced a financial aid of Rs.2 lakh.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Thelka village of Saja assembly constituency under Bemetara district on December 27 as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan' across the state. In his address at Bhent-Mulaqat, he said "Chhattisgarh's existence as a state was our ancestors' dream. Ensuring the prosperity and development of our farmers is our top priority. Loans to be waived off were promised in the election campaign, and as soon as our new government took charge, the loan of 19 lakh farmers' totaling Rs.9500 thousand crores was waived off.". He further stated that effective measures have been taken to enhance the situation of farmers. Along with providing a fair price for paddy, support prices for other crops have also been announced. In the first year, paddy was purchased for Rs.2500 per quintal; however, now even more prices are available for the purchase of paddy. He said that the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be released to all beneficiaries on March 31.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel said that the core objective of the state government is to improve the economic condition of the common people and to provide quality education to the children. He said that ITI is being upgraded. Free treatment and medicines are being provided to people under health schemes. Schemes like Haat Bazar Clinic are being run. The government is taking steps to promote the culture of Chhattisgarh. Ram Van Gaman tourism circuit is being developed. He said that work is being done to promote the local culture of different regions of Chhattisgarh.

Santoshi Bai bought half an acre of land by selling cow dung

While interacting with the Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel, Paras Patel of Tedhi village stated that Rs 2.50 lakh of his loan has been waived off. Along with being able to celebrate festivals with the money he earns from farming, he is now able to fulfill all of his responsibilities towards his family extremely well. When asked by the Chief Minister about the Godhan Nyaya Yojana, Santoshi Bai said that she has sold cow dung worth Rs.2 lakh and is also selling cow milk. She is paying for the education of her children and also bought half an acre of land using this money. After listening to her, Chief Minister gave her best wishes.

Umesh Sahu, a member Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club said that there are 55 to 60 members in his club. They all took part in Chhattisgarhi Olympics. Along with this, they are also participating in other programs including the Ramayana competition. The Chief Minister told him that the installment of Rs 25,000 will be deposited in the account of the club on January 12 next year.

Women's group gifted a jacket made of banana stem fiber

During the meeting, the women's group of village Rakhi gifted a jacket made of banana stem fiber to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. He thanked them. Farmer Mr. Dilip Mishra told the Chief Minister that he has 3 acres of land. He had a loan of Rs.4 lakhs for 15 years, and all of his loans have been waived off. He said that he got the honor of being called a farmer in 2019 after becoming debt free. The Chief Minister congratulated him. Naveen Mishra of village Somekhurd said that his loan of Rs 2.50 lakh was waived off. He also recited his poem as well. Chandraprakash Rajput of Gadadih village told that crop production has increased with vermicompost and the soil has also become soft which is very beneficial for the crops. After the meeting, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel met the children of Swami Atmanand English Medium School and took information about their education. The Chief Minister also posed for photographs with the children.

Performed bhoomipujan and inaugurated development work worth Rs.87.77 crore at Thelka

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of 72 developmental works worth Rs.87.77 crores for village Thelka. This includes the inauguration of development work worth Rs 51.57 crore and performed Bhoomipujan of development work worth Rs 36.19 crore.

In the meeting, Shashibala Sahu of Saja village told that she is receiving 35 kg of rice. The Chief Minister asked about salt, sugar, rice, gas cylinder, and kerosene. Shashibala Sahu told that ration, salt and sugar are being provided regularly. A gas cylinder is of Rs.1200 and kerosene oil is of Rs.100 per liter, both are very expensive. On this, the Chief Minister said that the central government decides the price of petrol-diesel and oils.

 More than 37 lakh people got free treatment so far

More than 37 lakh people have got free treatment under the Mukhyamantri Shehri Slum Swasthya Yojana started by the state government with an objective to make healthcare accessible and affordable for people living in urban slums. 

Under the scheme, free-of-cost facilities including doctor's consultations, medical tests, and medicines are being provided in all urban areas across the state through dedicated 120 well-equipped mobile medical units. Through this scheme, apart from providing the facility of medical tests to nearly 8.32 lakh, free medicines have been distributed to more than 30.94 lakh patients. The beneficiaries also include about 2.59 lakh laborers.

Under this scheme, run by the Urban Administration and Development Department of the Chhattisgarh Government, so far 49, 192 camps have been organized in the slums of 169 urban bodies of the state. Urban Administration and Development Minister Dr. Shivkumar Dahariya has given instructions to the departmental officers to provide free medicines to the underprivileged and needy people after health check-ups.

It is worth mentioning that the first phase of this scheme was started on 01 November 2020 with 60 mobile medical units to provide health facilities to the people living in slums of 14 municipal corporation areas of the state. Keeping in view the success of this scheme, the scope of the scheme was expanded to all urban bodies of the state on March 31, 2022, with the addition of 60 new mobile medical units.
