Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that the government has formed because of people's faith in our welfare policies. Soon after taking the oath, our first decision was to waive off loans of farmers. Shri Rahul Gandhi gave us 10 days' time for the same. We did it in 10 hours.

People have reposed their faith in us, we have 71 seats in the legislative assembly now. The state government has taken major decisions in the interest of the farmers.

We gave the highest price for agricultural produce in the country. Oilseeds and pulses are also being purchased at the support price.

Farmers are getting the instalments of the schemes on time and will give the fourth instalment before March 31.

 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached Gram Panchayat Sirpur under the Mahasamund Assembly constituency for Bhent-Mulaqat

He started the program by garlanding a photograph of Chhattisgarh Mahtari and by singing the state song.

According to the Chief Minister, Sirpur once served as Chhattisgarh's capital and was a hub for trade and education. This is where Buddhist monks congregate. Additionally, it served as a hub for commerce and trade. This place has a long and rich history. Ayurvedic medicine and education have traditionally been centered on trade.

Numerous monks must have meditated in this revered location. This has been Nagarjuna's abode.

How many visitors from so many different cultures must there have been? The very thought of this exhilarates the mind, he said.

As per Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, when the government was established four years ago, we made promises to the farmers that we would forgive their loans and cut the electricity bill by half.

The scheme was introduced for landless laborers for the first time in the nation. We also completed tasks that we had not even agreed to complete while keeping in mind the demands of the state.

Have invested in schemes like Chattisgarh ke Chaar Chinhari "Narva, Garva, Ghurva, aur Bari", which successfully brought water to the farms.

We headed towards Mantralay as soon as the government was established and made the decision to waive the loan. It was decided to purchase paddy for Rs. 2500, the support price.

We are giving installments to farmers every year under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Yojana. The fourth installment of this scheme will be received before March 31, before the end of the financial year.

The Chief Minister states that since we increased the number of societies, there are now more than 2000 societies.

Farmers no longer need to travel far because there are 2500 paddy procurement centers. Gunny bags are offered, and payment is received within three days.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel addressed a press conference at Bagbahara Rest House as a part of his 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan' today. 

Addressing the media persons, he said that everyone is getting the benefit of the Nyay Yojana. People have got relief from availing the benefits of the schemes run by the state government.

He said that a target has been set to procure one crore ten lakh metric tonnes of paddy this year. 

He said that locals and producers are getting benefitted from the millet plants started by the state. This is also boosting employment at the local level. 

People across the state are saying that migration has been curbed with the commencement of income-generating activities in Gauthans. 

Remarkable work is being done in the health sector, and schemes like Haat Bazar, and Slum Swasthya Yojana are being implemented.

42 lakh people are taking advantage of the Bijli Bill Half Yojana.

Pulses are being procured at support prices in the state. 

There is an increase in the demand for English medium schools. People are availing benefits of various government schemes. The work of issuing public documents has also been simplified.

The state government making consistent efforts to reduce the distance between the administration and the public.

We have also chalked out plans for the welfare of Tendupatta collectors. The government and administration are working in the interest of the people.

 District administration gave instructions to the company

Collector and the SP held a discussion with the Royal Infra Company and asked them to take responsibility of the girl child

Royal Infra, the company engaged in construction of the Kumhari flyover, will provide Rs.15 lakh for the education and other needs of Annu Dewangan, a victim who lost her both parents in the Kumhari flyover accident. District Collector Mr. Pushpendra Kumar Meena and District SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav discussed with the management of the company in this regard and asked them to take responsibility of the girl child for her education and other needs. Officials told the management that the contract has conditions to take care of all safety measures that are needed during the flyover construction. The negligence of the company led to a serious accident. In this very unfortunate accident, the girl lost her parents. The company should bear the expenses of her upbringing. After discussion, the management now will provide an amount of Rs.15 lakh. The company management will provide a cheque of Rs 15 lakh to the family members of Annu on Thursday in the presence of Collector Mr.Pushpendra Kumar Meena and SP Dr. Abhishek Pallav on the Collectorate premises.

The black pepper vines planted in the forest area of the Kondagaon district now have started developing fruits called peppercorns. The cultivation of black pepper was started on an experimental basis in Kondagaon. In forest areas, black pepper plants were planted near sal trees and their vines were climbed on sal trees.

DFO of South Kondagaon Forest Division said that in the years 2006-07 and 2008-09, an amount of Rs 8.80 lakh and Rs 7.90 lakh respectively received from the Chhattisgarh State Medicinal Plants Board for cultivating black pepper in the forests area under Dahikonga range. With this amount under the agricultural experiment, in the year 2006-07, 7000 vines of black pepper were planted over trees and in the year 2008-09, 15000 thousand vines of black pepper were planted. In the year 2014-15, Rs.13 lakh was received for preparing one lakh saplings of black pepper, which will be used for distribution to the villagers by Kopabeda Nursery in the Kondagaon area. Both these projects were started experimentally for the cultivation of black pepper.

  On the occasion of the completion of four years of government, Chief Minister  Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will address the public.

 As part of Gaurav Divas 2017, Gauthans of the state, paddy purchase centers, and farmers will participate in the event.

 Tendupatta collection centers and cooperative societies will host a variety of events.

In recognition of the completion of four years of government in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, December 17 will be observed as Chhattisgarh Gaurav Divas. The Chief Minister will also address the public on this day. On the day of Gaurav Divas, programs will be organized in Gauthans, cooperative society complexes, paddy purchase centers, Tendupatta collection centers, office sites of forest produce management committees, haat-bazaars, wards of urban bodies of all the districts. In these programs, people will be given information about the achievements and will also get information about the public welfare schemes and programs of the Chhattisgarh government in the last four years.

 At a video conference held today at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain briefed the Divisional Commissioners, Collectors, District Panchayat Chief Executive Officers, Forest Divisional Officers, and senior officials involved with these activities about the Gaurav Diwas and provided the required guidance in this regard. On Gaurav Diwas, events will be held starting at 11 am in all Gauthans, Tendupatta collection centers, and in urban area wards,  starting at 3 pm in the areas of the Primary Cooperative Society and paddy purchase centers.

 Participants of the program that will be held in Gauthan will include the chairman and members of the Gauthan committee, farmers from the village, landless workers, people's representatives, members of local bodies, members of the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club, and local residents. Public representatives and local citizens will participate in the program organized at the ward level in urban areas. Gaurav Divas will also be organized in tendu Patta collection centers and in village markets in forest areas. On the day of the Gaurav Divas in Tendupatta collection centers, information about the achievements of the government will be given in Haat Bazars along with information about the schemes being run for the farmers and laborers. Similarly, by inviting farmers to primary cooperative societies and paddy purchase centers, they will be given information about major agricultural schemes of the government such as the Byaj Mukt Rin Yojana, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, etc.

14 December 2022/ The Medical Education Department of the state government has suspended Dr Manju Ekka, a gynaecologist at the hospital attached to Rajmata Smt. Devendra Kumari Singhdeo Government Medical College Ambikapur with immediate effect for showing negligence in allocated work. She has been suspended in connection with the death of patient Smt. Subuktara, husband Shri Israfil, was referred from Pratappur in the hospital affiliated with the Medical College, on November 29, in a case related to high-risk pregnancy. Despite receiving information from the hospital during her on-call duty in the hospital, she did not promptly discharge her official duties and responsibilities.

In the preliminary inquiry report received on December 01 regarding the incident, it was found that Dr Manju Ekka has shown extreme negligence in discharging her official duties. This act is a clear violation of Rule 3 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules, 1965. She has been suspended with immediate effect under Rule 9 (a) of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 for showing negligence in allocated work. Her headquarters has been fixed as office Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Hospital Superintendent, District Hospital, Surajpur and she will be eligible for subsistence allowance as per rules during the suspension period.

  Mahasamund :TNINS , 13 December 2022/ Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhumi Pujan of development works worth Rs 64 crore 13 lakh 92 thousand in Basna assembly constituency today. This includes Bhoomipujan of 37 development works worth Rs 32 crore 64 lakh 09 thousand and inauguration of 23 works worth Rs 32 crore 59 lakh 83 thousand.

The works for which bhumi pujan was performed include construction of new roads, bridges and culverts and construction of additional rooms in the college, school building construction, boundary wall construction, cultural building construction, C.C. Roads, community building construction etc.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was on Bhent-Mulaqat visit to Basna constituency of Mahasamund district today. During the visit, Mr. Baghel met and interacted with the people of village Pirda and village Gopalpur of Basna and asked about the implementation of state government schemes.

Bhent mulaqat : Assembly constituency- Basna, Village Gopalpur

Addressing to Bhent-Mulaqat, Chief Minister Mr Bhupesh Baghel stated that several programmes have been created for each class to ensure that each class benefits from the programmes.

  Vidhansabha creates laws and policies, and we are here to discover their implementation.

 He remarked that when we meet the beneficiaries, we may hear about their joys and sorrows and understand more about how the plans are being carried out.

 In accordance with the Chief Minister, under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, the money was distributed in four instalments and deposited directly into the accounts of the farmers.

 Three to four days remain for the completion of the four years after taking the oath on the 17th. He stated that immediately after taking the oath, they went to the ministry, called a meeting, and decided about loan waiver and support price.

 We have waived the 19 lakh farmer's loan of Rs. 9 thousand 50 crore rupees in our initial judgement.

 Regardless of whether the central government participates, we are working to keep our words.

 Farmers are also granted money based on their requirements, which is utilised for festivals, weddings, and other occasions.

Cabinet Minister Mohammad Akbar today distributed residential pattas to 126 families and letters of approval for construction of houses under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to 09 families in the collector's office. Cabinet Minister Mohd. Akbar, Municipality President Rishi Kumar Sharma and the present people's representatives congratulated the beneficiaries and distributed the Prime Minister's acceptance letter with their own hands. So far, 1 thousand 104 persons have been given residential lease by the Cabinet Minister Mo. Akbar.

Residential lease(patta) was given to 126 beneficiaries of Kawardha city in collector's office hall and 09 beneficiaries namely, Sunita, husband Bal Swaroop, Hansi Bai husband Akal Singh, Jaitram husband Udhoram, Prema husband Govardhan Yadav, Bendiya husband Gautriha, Fekan Bai husband Bhagwani Manikpuri, Lakshmi" Shrivas husband Vinod Shriwas, Jameli Bai husband Adhanu Jaiswal, Savita Manikpuri husband Fuldas Manikpuri were given the Prime Minister's residence approval letter.

The cabinet minister read out the names of 126 beneficiaries

Beneficiaries were content after getting residential lease and approval letter. While congratulating wishing  luck to all the families, Cabinet Minister Mohammad Akbar read out the names of the beneficiaries of all the wards and informed the beneficiaries. He also said that special attention should be paid to the basic problems and all the schemes of the government should be taken till the last person and facilities should be made available to everyone.

Municipality President Rishi Kumar Sharma said that our government is the government that works for the welfare of poor, our government is fulfilling its promises , the residential lease have been given to 1 thousand 104 eligible families of the city so far  under 'Rajiv Gandhi Ashray Yojana'. As per the intentions of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel,Paddy procurement has been commenced in Chhattisgarh from November 1, 2022, under which paddy is also being procured in all the procurement centers of Dantewada district. It is noteworthy that earlier there were 12 procurement centers in Dantewada district. Keeping in view the convenience of the farmers that they need not travel far to sell paddy , now the 13th procurement center has been set up in Gram Panchayat Keshapur. With Keshapur becoming a paddy procurement centre, 626 registered farmers of these 14 villages of Keshapur, Midkulnar, Kavalnar, Bhogam, Purantarai, Tudparas, Kuper, Manganar, Pandewar, Gondpal, Kamalur, Jhirka, Revanar will be able to sell their paddy at the support price in this centre.

Due to the formation of new paddy procurement centers, farmers are relieved that they need not travel far to sell their produce. Where earlier farmers had to travel numerous kilometres to sell paddy. Due to the long distance of the villages from the procurement center, sometimes the farmers used to spend more in transportation than the profit earned by selling paddy. Farmers used to go to Balud which is about 15 to 20 kilometers away. Due to which they had to spend some money in carrying the paddy and it also took more time. But now with the opening of new centres, the facilities have become closer to the farmers villages. Also, after the sale of paddy, the payment amount reaches the farmers' account within 24 to 48 hours.

Mr. Chandan Bhogami, a farmer and a resident of Manganar, says that earlier he used to go to Balud to sell his paddy, but now opening of procurement center in Keshapur has brought a lot of relief in his life. He also informed that numerous farmers are also getting the benefits of state governments public welfare  schemes like Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He further said that now Kodo and Kutki are also being produced by farmers which will be sold at the support price. Further, he says that he will invest his savings in the cultivation of next batch of produce and hopes to earn a good profit. He expressed gratitude towards the Chief Minister for opening the new centre.

Mr. Sarju Kumar Nag, a resident farmer of Purantarai Patel Para, says that many farmers are getting convenience as the new centre does not require him to travel far to sell his produce. 

It is notable that the Chhattisgarh government has started paddy procurement for the year 2022-23 on the support price from November 01, 2022, which will continue till January 31, 2023. While increasing the support price of paddy this year, the support price of paddy  has been fixed at Rs.2040/- for normal paddy and 2060/- per quintal for Grade A Paddy .Chhattisgarh government has also launched Token Tunhar Haath app for farmers to buy paddy at support price. Due to which farmers are selling their crop without queuing up by registering themselves online. Small and marginal farmers are being given tokens on priority basis in procurement centres. A total of 13140 quintals have been purchased in 13 procurements of the district and 1763.60 quintals of paddy has been procured in Keshapur so far.

Chhattisgarh's innovative initiatives were showcased at the International Summit on Social and Behavior Change Communication held in Marrakesh, Morocco from December 5 to 9. The 'Bapi Na Uwat', is an innovative program initiated by the Dantewada district that has garnered accolades in the field of behaviour change at the international level. The grandmother is known as ‘bapi’ in the local Gondi language. Bapis are participating voluntarily in the program and motivating the mothers and family members on child care, feeding, breastfeeding, health and nutrition. There is one Bapi in each of the 143 gram panchayats of the district. Bapis get the support of village-level volunteers, ‘Satrangi Nayak’ and ‘Satrangi Nayika’. This Chhattisgarh model was highlighted by UNICEF Head of Social Behavior Change (SBC) Mr.Siddharth Shrestha, and SBC expert Mr. Abhishek Singh.

An innovative initiative of the Dantewada district, the ‘Bapi Na Uwat’ program was launched on December 10, 2020, to reduce the rate of malnutrition in the district and adopt healthy practices, with the technical support of the District Administration and UNICEF. Almost 200 Bapi working in the gram panchayats of the districts are motivating the community to adopt healthy practices through various activities which belong to health, education, nutrition, and cleanliness in Satrangi Sabha, Gram Sabha, Mahila Sabha, Yuva Sabha in Devgudi at the community level. Along with Bapi, the youth are now participating in community awareness programs as ‘Satrangi Naak’ and ‘Satrangi Nayika’. It is a great pride that Dantewada's story of Bapi has garnered great accolades at the Global Summit held in Morocco.

In his state wide extensive Bhent Mulaqat program,Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will be in Basna assembly constituency of Mahasamund district on December 13. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel will take information about the implementation of the schemes of the state government while meeting and conversing with the common people. At the same time, he will address the problems of the general public, as well as meet various organisations to know their problems and needs. It may be noted that the Bhent Mulaqat programme is a unique initiative where the general public gets an opportunity to interact directly with the head of the state.

As per the scheduled tour programme, the Chief Minister will leave from  Raipur at 11.30 am by helicopter for gopalpur village of Basna assembly constituency and will attend the Bhent mulaqat program there from 12.05 pm. The Chief Minister will leave for  Pirda village in Pithora tehsil by helicopter from Gopalpur helipad at 1.40 pm and will interact with the villagers from 2.35 pm then,the Chief Minister will leave Pirda village at 4.10 pm by helicopter for Basna High School Ground and will perform Bhumi Pujan and inauguration of development works at Basna at 4.35 pm and after meeting various delegations from 5 pm, will return to Raipur at 8 pm.
