The delegation of Chhath Mahaparv Organizing Committee, Mahadev Ghat, Raipur, met Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel at his residence in Bhilai on Tuesday. The delegation led by Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh, the head of the committee invited the Chief Minister to attend Chhath Puja to be organized at Mahadev Ghat of Kharun river. Graciously accepting the invitation, Chief Minister said that Chhath festival celebration at Mahadev Ghat of holy Kharun river in the legendary Hatkeshwar Mahadev Dham of capital city Raipur has its own special charm. He extended best wishes for the success of the event.

Head of Chhath Puja Organizing Committee, Mr. Rajesh Kumar Singh informed that the four-day celebration of Chhath Puja festival will be held from October 28 to October 31. This year 'Nahay-Khay' will be celebrated on 28th October. 'Lohanda' and 'Kharna' will be held on 29th October, 'Sandhya Ardhya' will be held on 30th October and 'Usha Ardhya' will be organized on 31st October.

Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay, Committee members Mr. Sunil Singh, Mr. Kanhaiya Singh, Mr. Shivshankar Singh, Mr. Ajay Singh, Mr. Anil Singh and other members were present on the occasion.

Adivasi Christians attacked in Sukma,Chhattisgarh .

Sukma : In an incident reported from the Sukma district of Chattisgarh on Tuesday, a group of Adivasi Christians were allegedly attacked. When they tried to file a police case, the latter refused.

Madvi Joga, a police officer who is also an Adivasi Christian, requested his superiors to investigate the matter.

What followed was shocking as Joga was repeatedly thrashed by his superiors. In a video that was shared on Twitter, a police officer in plain clothes can be seen slapping Joga continuously while verbally abusing him. Joga does not raise his hand or lose his cool the whole time.

The reason for the latest attack on the minority group is yet to be known.

Following the incident, Joga was forced to surrender his pistol. It should be noted that Sukma is a densely populated Naxal district with frequent clashes.

This is not the first time such an incident has happened. There have been recent attacks on Adivasi Christians, mostly from right-wing organizations.

In September last year, two pastors were summoned by the Raipur police after Hindu extremists accused them of forceful conversions. The extremists barged into the police station and roughed up the pastors in the presence of police officials.

The Raipur police arrested seven of the rioters. The Station House Officer (SHO) was removed from the post and an enquiry was ordered.

However, even after having CCTV footage proof, the sections mentioned in the FIR (First Information Report) were mild and did not equate to the gravity of the situation.

This video is from the Durg district, where CM Bhupesh Baghel joined a gathering on the occasion of "Gauri-Gaura Puja" and was severely beaten with a whip during a rite.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the meeting of officers in Shivrinarayan during his Bhent-Mulaqat visit, said that strict adherence to the quality standards should be ensured in the ongoing works of drinking water schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission. Certain complaints have been received in the context from this area and the problems so reported should be resolved as soon as possible. In some villages of the region, the farmers of submerged areas have not yet received the compensation amount. Mr. Baghel directed the Collector to make sure that the farmers receive the compensation they are entitled for. Mr. Baghel gave instructions to prepare a concrete action plan to ensure supply of water to the fields of tail area under the irrigation project. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that as far as possible force should not be involved in removing encroachment on government land.

Chief Minister also said that the small grant amounts sanctioned by the government are important for poor families and they should not have to frequently visit the government offices to get that financial aid released. Mr. Baghel directed the officials to ensure maximum convenience of the beneficiaries in this regard.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the announcements made by the government should be implemented on priority in the given time-frame. He said that the paddy harvesting season is about to begin and now a large quantity of hay would get stacked up in the farm. Farmers should be encouraged to donate this hay to Gauthans. Public awareness programs should be conducted in this regard. Chief Minister further said that the administration should now focus on the new Gauthans, besides the self-supporting Gauthans. Mr. Baghel said that a large number of people migrate to other cities for employment. But if the livelihood activities are actively conducted in gauthans and rural industrial parks, people will not have to wander in search of work.

Chief Minister said that Shivrinarayan is a major religious and historical tourist destination of the state. The government is developing adequate facilities for the convenience of the tourists visiting here. Chief Minister directed the officials to repair the roads of rural as well as urban areas. He gave instructions to take strict action against illegal liquor, gambling, betting and drugs. In the meeting, Mr. Baghel specially emphasized on improving the quality of school education. Officers were directed to conduct regular inspection visits to the schools and ensure the necessary improvements.

During an event held in Shivrinarayan today, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated and performed the Bhumipoojan of 40 works worth Rs. 23 crores 90 lakh for the Pamgarh Vidhansabha region. Out of these, he conducted the Bhumipoojan of 26 works worth Rs. 16 crores 14 lakh 53 thousand and the inauguration of 14 works worth Rs. 7 crores 75 lakh 44 thousand.

The Chief Minister conducted the Bhumipoojan of 4 works in Co-operative Bank worth Rs. 5 crores, 11 works in Rural Engineering Service worth Rs.2.35 crore, 2 works for Water Resource Subdivision in Janjgir worth Rs. 5.23crore, one work for the Health and Family Welfare Department worth Rs. 2.43 crore, two works for the Public Welfare Department worth Rs. 4.54 crore, 7 works for Gram Panchayat worth Rs. 81 lakh crore, making a total of 26 works worth Rs. 16.14 crore.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel met the heads of various communities and representatives of social organizations at the rest house in Shivrinarayan Nagar of Janjgir-Champa district late on Wednesday, as a part of his statewide 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'.

On this occasion, the Other Backward Classes organization honored the Chief Minister by weighing him against Chhattisgarhi delicacies including 'Thethri-Khurmi'. A photograph was presented to the Chief Minister on behalf of the Aushadhi Vikreta Sangh. The representatives of Satnami Samaj Nawagarh and Pamgarh congratulated Shri Baghel and gave him best wishes for becoming India's Best Performing Chief Minister in the nationwide survey.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister approved a financial grant of Rs 1.60 crore on the demand of representatives of various social organizations. He gave instructions to build a library in Shivrinarayan and name it after novelist Thakur Jagmohan Singh. The Chief Minister said that Thakur Jagmohan Singh was a famous novelist as well as a Tehsildar of Shivrinarayan. He directed the Collector to inspect the place and prepare an estimate for installation of the statue of Maharana Pratap at Janjgir by Thakur Samaj.

In the programme, the Chief Minister also approved a grant of Rs 20 lakh to the Sikh community for the construction of Dharamshala in the Gurudwara of Pamgarh block besides approving construction of Ghat. Similarly, an amount of Rs 15 lakh was sanctioned for construction of the community hall of Swarnakar Samaj and Rs.25 lakh to Nayak Banjara Samaj for community hall construction. Similarly, Rs 20 lakh for upgradation of Dharamshala of Kesharwani Samaj, Rs 10 lakh each for construction of additional room in Dharamshala of Devangan Samaj in Rahod and Shakambhari Bhawan in Kesla, Rs 25 lakh each for construction of community hall in Shivrinarayan on the demand of Satnami Samaj and for hostel building of Kenwat Nishad Samaj. Besides, Rs 10 lakhs was sanctioned to Satguru Seva Samiti Pamgarh for cultural building and stage construction.

MLA Pamgarh Smt. Indu Banjare, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board President Shri Atal Shrivastava and other public representatives and officials were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile, Shri Baghel also gave his nod for renaming Parshuram Chowk and beautification of the fair site by Guru Ghasidas Satganwa Mela Committee. Approval was given for the repair of the building and school of Yadav Samaj and construction of Muktidham for Sarathi Samaj. On the demand of Kurmi Samaj, he instructed the officers concerned to take necessary action to make Sardar Patel Chowk and upgrade Rahaud as a tehsil.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday chaired a review meeting of district-level officials of Sakti district and Dabhra block in Chandrapur rest house complex.

"There is a lot of enthusiasm among the residents with the creation of this new district. Besides, they have high expectations as well. For this all the officers should work efficiently to strengthen the trust of people in government and local administration", said Chief Minister.

He directed the officials concerned to ensure prompt implementation of the announcements made yesterday during 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. Besides, he said that no person should be deprived of the availing benefit of the government schemes due to non-update of revenue records. He directed the officers to do the work of rectification of revenue records including transfer, payment, and partition on priority. He asked to pace up the work of road construction and regularly monitor the same.

He also gave instructions in the meeting for quick disposal of pending compensation cases of Saradih and Kalma barrage. He said that only those who are the rightful owners of the account should get the benefit. He also gave instructions to update the records for this. Besides, he also gave directions to change the inactive Gauthan Samitis which are not functioning properly. Anemic women should get the benefit of hot meals regularly.

During the meeting, instructions were given to identify the eligible people in the villages and link them with the 'Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana' by running a campaign. Instructions were also given to the officers to increase the number of villages under the Haat Bazar Clinic yojana besides ensuring the availability of prescribed medicines and medical tests to the people.

The education officials were instructed to ensure the issuance of caste certificates to cent per cent school students in the next 15 days. He said that well-equipped community halls will be established in flood-prone areas. For this, instructions have been given to the district collector to conduct a survey of such villages and take the necessary action by preparing estimates.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Konargarh village of Pamgarh Assembly Constituency on Wednesday during ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. The Chief Minister prayed for the happiness, and prosperity of the state’s people by offering prayers to Jaitkham at village Mulmula. The Chief Minister lit a traditional lamp and garlanded the oil painting of Chhattisgarh Mahatari at the meeting site. He commenced the meeting by paying homage to former Lok Sabha MP Late Parasram Bhardwaj on his death anniversary.

He made various announcements on the demand of the villagers. He announced the construction of a CC road in the Konar village, a road from Konargarh to Kosa, a pond deepening at Konar, construction of community buildings in Pamgarh and Kosa. Similarly, to improve the education system, he announced the opening of a Hindi medium Atmanand School in Bhainso, construction of a Government Pre-Secondary School building at Mulmula, construction of a Government Primary School building in Kosa and a new Primary School at Hardipara of village Mehendi. The Chief Minister also approved the installation of a statue of Martyr Rudra Pratap Singh in honor of his martyrdom. Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal was also present during the meeting.

The Chief Minister interacted with the villagers and took information regarding the implementation of various schemes including Gauthan, Godhan Nyay Yojana, school management, and the medical system.

In his interaction with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, a cattle herder Dileram Kashyap of village Kesla said "I have earned an additional income of Rs 90,000 so far by selling cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Mr.Baghel congratulated Mr.Kashyap and asked him how he utilized this money. Mr.Kashyap replied that he has bought a cycle and used the said amount for his children's education and daily expenses.

Similarly, Mrs.Lalita Sidar, a resident of village Mulmula, expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for organizing the 'Chhattisgarhiya Olympics'. She told the Chief Minister that she used to climb 'gedi' a lot in her childhood, today after 40 years, she took part and won the 'Gedi' competition. The Chief Minister congratulated him and also took information regarding the distribution of ration through the Public Distribution System.

Mitanin Mrs. Chitralekha told that every Tuesday team of the ‘Haat Bazaar Clinic’ Scheme visits her village. They provide treatment facilities and medicines free of cost.

Pratiksha Singh, a teacher of Mulmula School, told the Chief Minister that teaching the Chhattisgarhi language once a week in schools has increased the interest of the students in their studies. The need for teaching in the local language was already felt.

Chief Minister visits the Konargarh sub-health center

Chief Minister paid a visit to Konargarh sub-health center and took the information about OPDs, IPDs, and available medical services from the in-charge of the center Community Health Officer, Mr.Ghanshyam Prasad. He told Chief Minister Mr.Baghel that this health center was established in 2012-2013. There are 03 employees working in the hospital. The 2 bedded sub-health center has 12 types of healthcare facilities, 41 types of medicines, and 7 types of health check-up facilities available as of now. The hospital also has the facility of consultation with doctors of higher centers through telemedicine as per the requirement. The hospital also has a delivery room, women's ward, lab, pharmacy, OPD room, and counseling room for patients. About 15 to 20 institutional deliveries take place in the health center every month. The Chief Minister also interacted with the people who came for treatment and took the information about the facilities available in the center. He also planted a mango sapling on the health center premises.

School Children cuts the ribbon, and inaugurate the new school building

The Chief Minister inaugurated the Government Primary School Konargarh by allowing the school children to cut the ribbon. He asked the table of 12 from the children of class third, on reciting the table by students he encouraged them by clapping. He wished them all the best for their bright future. It is noteworthy that the construction of this school building has been done with the help of the District Mineral Trust fund.

Following the inauguration, Shri Baghel inspected the hospital and took stock of the facilities available here. He met the doctors and staff and directed them to provide better treatment to the patients. It was told that due to the space constraints in the previously operated hospital building, many facilities were not available to the patients.

The new building consists of a total of 25 rooms on the ground and first floor. There are good IPD, casualty, and institutional delivery facilities here. There are 5 OPD rooms, 2 doctor rooms, 1 labor room, 1 pre-labor room, an x-ray, digital x-ray, pathology, operation theatre, registration, and a waiting hall on the ground floor of the building. The first floor consists of 16-seater male ward, 18-seater female ward, 1 OT, 1 post-OT, 2 doctor changing rooms, 1 doctor room, and a nurse room.

Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Swasthya Yojana has provided free treatment to over 31.44 lakh people so far

RAIPUR : The Chief Minister had conceptualised a scheme that could help treat people living in slum communities at their homes. Keeping this goal in mind, the Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Swasthya Yojana that was implemented by the government has treated more than 31 lakh people living in slums through mobile medical units. Under the scheme, 120 mobile medical units with doctors, paramedical teams, and medical equipment is reaching the slum areas in urban regions of the state and providing free-of-cost medical treatment to people. Under the scheme, about 6,74,121 people have benefited from pathology tests, and free-of-cost medicines have been provided to more than 26,10,277 patients. Laborers make up approximately 2,52,263 of those who have benefited.

Under the Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Swasthya Yojana operated by the Chhattisgarh government's Urban Administration and Development Department, about 38,990 camps have been set up in 169 urban units. Through these, the free of cost testing and treatment of patients is being done while providing them with free medicines. The Urban Administration and Development Minister, Mr. Shivkumar Dahariya, has instructed the departmental officers that people living in remote slum areas and other needy people should be provided with the facilities of medical tests and free of cost medicines.

It is noteworthy that the first phase of the Mukhyamantri Shahari Slum Swasthya Yojana started on November 1, 2020 to provide healthcare facilities to the people living in slum communities in the Nagar Nigam regions of the state. Under this, 60 mobile medical units had been deployed to provide medical testing, treatment, and free-of-cost medicines to people living in slums. On March 31, 2022, the scheme had been extended to all the urban sections of the state, and 60 new medical units were also deployed.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel distributed cheques amounting to Rs. 3 crores 54 lakh 74 thousand to 12 affected people of Saradih barrage flooded area.

Talking to the villagers, he said that he visited Saradih for the first time as a Chief Minister. Schemes have been made by the state government for every section of society. He said that he is on a state tour to know the ground reality of the implementation of government schemes and directly interact with common people, public representatives, and social organisations to know their feedback and hear their grievances. He also said that this government is dedicated to farmers, the poor, and laborers. We first decided to waive off the loan of farmers. Through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, farmers are getting a fair price for their crops.

The villagers expressed their happiness over the release of the third installment under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. A resident of Saradih, named Mr. Komal Jaiswal told that his loan of Rs.01 lakh 70 thousand has been waived off. He bought a tractor with the money he received from this scheme. He is receiving installments for two consecutive years. Mr. Sushil Kumar, another farmer, told that he cultivate maize on one and a half acres of land. He is also receiving input assistance from Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. He got a solar pump under Saur Sujala Yojna, which helps him in cultivating maize, groundnut, and String bean(Barbati).

During this, Mr. Nohar Baghel of village Sakrali said that he received an amount of Rs. 13 thousand as an installment under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana yesterday. With the money received under this scheme, he paid a loan of Rs.55 thousand. He yields two crops using the pump, bought a motorcycle, and for this, he didn’t take any loan. Similarly, Mr.Anand Goswami told that he received two installments of Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. He told that his village is flood affected. To deal with this situation, he demanded the construction of a community building. Addressing his demand, Chief Minister Mr.Baghel announced the construction of fully equipped community buildings in all such villages which comes under the flood zone. He directed the collector to survey such villages and prepare the estimates at the earliest.

During the meeting, Mr. Gaurishankar Yadav, a cattle rearer of village Nawapara, told that he has sold cow dung worth Rs. 60 thousand and from this, he bought a cow for Rs. 30 thousand. He also bought a necklace for his wife. Ku. Dimple Yadav, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Dabhra, shared her experience in fluent English and, thanked the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for opening Atmanand School. Chief Minister Mr.Baghel said that to provide a better competitive environment, we are providing education in English medium. To stay connected with its tradition and culture, an initiative has been taken to start teaching in Chhattisgarhi in schools. Along with Hindi, schools are also providing education in English, Chhattisgarhi, and Sanskrit too. There are plans to open 400 Atmanand schools next year. Mr. Rakesh Kumar told that his daughter had a hole in her heart. The operation took place under the Chirayu Yojana. Now she is living a healthy life but routine check-ups and medicines are costing them a lot. Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel immediately approved an amount of Rs.50 thousand to Mr.Rakesh Kumar from a voluntary donation.

Chief Minister met the general public in Mukta, took feedback on the implementation of government schemes

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today reached the Mukta village of Malkharoda block in Sakti district under the Bhent Mulaqat Abhiyan and interacted directly with the villagers and inquired about the implementation of the welfare schemes of the state government.

On the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister announced for the ground leveling and murum filling works for the Gothan of Mukta village, he also announced the following; construction of CC road from Mukta to Malkharoda, construction of the community building, beautification of Khanti pond of Jamgahan village,construction of compound and shed in Muktidham in the village of Mukta, embankment (wall) in Mudatalab, main road in Gram Panchayat Malkharoda and road construction from Naharpar to Chikhali, Chhotekot, Belhadih via Sighra, NRLM dome construction for the training of women in Gram Panchayat of Singhra . Upgradation of Pre-Secondary School in Village, Sarasdol into High School and Upgradation of High School of Jamgahan village and Sulauni into Higher Secondary School, construction of New High School in Mukta village, City of Ashtabhuji Devi in the Nagar Panchayat of Adbhar to be made as a tourist destination. He also announced the construction of a compound in youth training center at Malkharoda, and the construction of bridge in Kharri village.

Chief Minister Shri Baghel,while addressing the people present in the Bhent Mulaqat said that "the main objective of the State Government is to increase the income of the people and to work towards attaining prosperity for all. Under the short-term agricultural loan waiver scheme, farmers have been given relief from debt and under the Half Electricity Bill scheme, people have been saved from from huge electricity bills. Along with the purchase of paddy in support price, farmers have been provided a fair price for their produce through Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Prosperity has reached the farmers by getting the right price for their produce. The number of farmers, area under cultivation and production of paddy has also increased in the state and number of farmers has increased to about 26 lakhs. The set target is to procure one crore 10 lakh metric tonnes of paddy in this Kharif year,the area under agriculture has also gone up to 30 lakh hectares as Farmer-friendly schemes have increased the interest of people towards farming."

Chief Minister Shri Baghel further said that today, a financial assistance of 7 thousand is being given annually to the landless laborers. 65 types of minor forest produce are being procured in the state. Employment is being generated and people's incomes have also increased. He also said that numerous posts of teachers, police, nurses etc, have been recruited in the state. Employment opportunities have also increased along with promotion and marketing of local products by setting up Rural Industrial Park in identified Gauthans in all the blocks. Along with promoting the culture of Chhattisgarh through Rajiv Mitan Club, information about local sports, government schemes is also being given to the people.

While inquiring from the general public about the implementation of government scheme, Mr. Gajanand Gabel, a farmer of the Mukta village informed that his agricultural loan of Rs. 2.5 lakh has been waived off and he has sold paddy in support price which has earned him substantial income. He has 20 acres of agricultural land, he further informed that from the income earned from paddy cultivation and through the financial assistance of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojna, he has bought an additional land of two and a half acres along with buying some goods for his wife.. Another farmer namely Bhagat Ram Chandra, resident of the Chikhali village told the Chief Minister that his agricultural loan of more than Rs 1.15 lakhs has been waived and he has also sold paddy produced in his 3 acres of land and with the income, he has bought a saree for his wife and has also dug a bore near his farmland for irrigation. Pooja Khare of Jagmahan village told that due to the creation of her poverty line ration card, her son has been admitted in Swami Atmanand Government English School and they also recieve 35 kg of rice, sugar, salt regularly.

Farmer Sanjay Kumar Gabel of Bundeli village has registered himself for selling cow dung and has sold 635 quintals 35 kg of cow dung so far from which he has earned an income of Rs 1 lakh 26 thousand 670 Rs. Cattle herder Sanjay Kumar informed that he makes manure from earthworm and manure worth 40 thousand Rs has been sold by him till date. Similarly, 63 thousand rupees have been earned from selling Napier grass. Under the Crop Change Program, the Horticulture Department is cooperating with farmers and helping them in planting crops like mango, papaya, banana,etc. Hemlata Lahre of Kirari village told the Chief Minister that her group is associated with Gothan since 3 years and has earned 60 thousand rupees by selling 167 quintals of vermi compost. Hemlata also informed that with her earnings she has bought an anklet for herself. Manharan Lal of, a resident of Sonadula informed the Chief Minister about getting the third installment of 2 thousand Rs. on October 17 under Rajiv Gandhi Bhumiheen krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. Golu Bareth of Baradwar informed about the quality healthcare facilities and treatment of the people of the village being provided through Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojna.

Sandeep Khunte and Yukti Mahilang, students of Swami Atmanand Vidyalaya, Malkharoda thanked the Chief Minister for providing better educational infrastructure in a very low fees through Swami Atmanand Vidyalay which is equipped with modern labs and library facilities. Santosh Mahant, a member of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club informed the rising interest of people in local sports through the Chhattisgarhia Olympics which is conducting local sports like Fugdi, Gilli Danda, Bhaura, Billas, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho etc.

Transport facility centres being opened in Chhattisgarh at a rapid pace

219 Transport Facility Centres started in the state so far

CM announced to open 1000 Transport Facility Centres

No need to visit unauthorised agents very soon

To enhance and expand transport-related services and to provide near-the-home services, the transport department is opening transport facility centres in Chhattisgarh. Under this, 219 transport facility centres have been started in the state so far. Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel has announced to start 1000 Transport Facility Centers across the state to expand transport-related services. People will no longer need to visit unauthorized agents for transport-related services. Opening these facility centres has a dual benefit, one is that transport-related facilities will be available to people near their homes and the other is that they will help in employment generation for about 5 thousand youths.

Under this, the establishment of transport facility centres across the state is going on at a rapid pace under the guidance of Transport Minister Mr.Mohammad Akbar. So far 219 transport facility centres have been established across the state. These include the starting of 32 transport facility centres under the District Transport Office in Raipur, 4 in Kanker, 12 in Rajnandgaon and 9 in Raigarh. Similarly, 14 transport facilities have been started under District Transport Office in Mahasamund, 18 in Dhamtari, 18 in Janjgir-Champa, 8 in Jagdalpur, 2 in Baikunthpur, 6 in Ambikapur, 10 in Surajpur, 9 in Kondagaon, 14 in Kabirdham, 13 in Gariyaband, 8 in Sukma, 3 in Balrampur, 4 in Jashpur, 2 in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 9 in Korba, 7 in Mungeli, 12 in Balodabazar-Bhatapara and 5 in Balod.

Applicants only need to pay the prescribed fees at the facility centres

According to the information received from the Transport Department, the Transport Facility Center can be authorized to issue a learning license under the notification published in the Gazette of the Government of India. The guidelines also prescribe the charges for various services at the Transport Facility Centers.

As per the issued guidelines, Rs.100 service charge for filling online application form, Rs.50 for the online fee/tax payment to Transport Department (for each one thousand rupees or part thereof), and Rs.50 for a learning license. Charges for scanning, compressing and uploading (per page) of the required documents are Rs.5 and the printout charges (per page) for complete documents is Rs.5 per page.

No longer need to visit unauthorised agents

These transport facility centres will be starting in the interest of the general public in the state. In lack of information, a large number of people visit unauthorized agents for transport-related services. This process takes more time and sometimes they have to suffer financial loss as well. There will be no longer a need to visit unauthorized agents for transport-related services.

SAKTI : During the Bhent Mulaqat program, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel visited Mr. Babulal Mali’s home in Navadih, located in the village Saradih under the Vidhansabha region of Chandrapur Assembly Constituency. Mr. Mali’s family welcomed the Chief Minister with enthusiasm and cordiality. After reaching Mr. Mali’s home, the Chief Minister and the other guests enjoyed a traditional Chhattisgarhi meal. The Chief Minister Mr. Baghel was served traditional Chhattisgarhi food on a bronze plate that consisted of dal, rice, chapati, lal bhaji, makhna bhaji, chunchuniya bhaji, idhar, jhunga, munga bhaji, paira footu, ridge gourd, yam, poi bhaji, paneer matar, gobhi matar, patal chutney, layi badi, bijori badi, thethri khurmi, and arsa. After taking his meals, the Chief Minister enquired about the well-being of Mr. Mali’s family members and thanked them for the meal that they served him with love. He also offered presents to the family members.

On this occasion, Revenue and Minister Incharge Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Chandrapur MLA Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Janpad President Mrs. Patrika Dayal Soni, Collector Nupur Rashi Panna, State Secretary Scheduled Caste Rice King Khunte, Jalindhar Yadav, and Journalist Anshuman Sharma also had the traditional food of Chhattisgarh.

As part of the Bhent Mulaqat campaign in Chandrapur Vidhansabha region, the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reached the Lord Shiva temple in Mukta village and performed his worship with all the traditional rituals. The Chief Minister prayed to Lord Shiva for the happiness and prosperity of the state’s residents. He also planted a sapling of Almond on the temple premises. A father who was a resident of Mukta village built this temple in 2019 in memory of his son. On this occasion of the worship of Lord Shiva and tree plantation in the temple, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal, Chandrapur MLA Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, and various other public representatives and officers were also present.

The local people said that Mr. Rajkumar Karsh’s son, Tilesh Kumar, had passed away at the age of 5 years after falling into a pit in Gram Panchayat Mukta of Janpad Panchayat Malkharauda. After this unfortunate incident, the government provided Rs. 4 lakh as a grant to the family members. The father of the deceased child, Mr. Rajkumar Karsh, used this amount to start the construction of a Lord Shiva temple and a Shivling in Kenabhata in Mukta village in memory of his child on 4 March 2019. The temple is maintained by the family of Mr. Karsh and the villagers have been visiting the place to perform their worship for the last four years. Moreover, every year during Mahashivratri, special worship is performed in this temple.
