Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid homage to the late former Prime Minister of India, Bharat Ratna Rajiv Gandhi, on his death anniversary, May 21. Remembering Rajiv Gandhi's vision and contributions to the country's development, he acknowledged Rajiv Ji as the youngest Prime Minister of India and the architect of India in the 21st century. Baghel emphasized Rajiv Ji's foresight in driving India's IT and telecom revolution, recognizing the potential and significance of Information Technology (IT) and laying the foundation for e-governance and transparency in government work, which formed the basis of Digital India.

Furthermore, Baghel highlighted Rajiv Ji's efforts in establishing the framework for a 21st century India, empowering the youth by lowering the voting age to 18, granting constitutional status to Panchayati Raj, decentralizing power to villages through Panchayati Raj, and promoting the adoption of new technologies. Rajiv Ji was a visionary leader who played a pivotal role in shaping modern India. His connection with Chhattisgarh was special, as he visited the tribal area of Kulhadighat in the Gariaband district in 1985, which remains deeply ingrained in the memories of the people. He also visited the Dugli village, now known as 'Rajiv Gram'.

Baghel further emphasized that Rajiv Ji had a roadmap for inclusive development, formulating various policies for rapid economic growth and equitable distribution of its benefits. Following in his footsteps, the Chhattisgarh government is dedicated to the development of all sections of society, from the underprivileged to entrepreneurs. In 2020, on the death anniversary of Rajiv Gandhi, the state government launched the 'Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana', providing agricultural input subsidies of Rs 9,000 per acre to over 24 lakh farmers in the state through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). Similarly, the 'Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhumiheen Krishi Majdoor NYAY Yojana' was initiated to provide assistance to agricultural laborers in the farming sector, offering an annual amount of Rs 7,000 through DBT to landless workers.

The Chief Minister highlighted Rajiv Ji's unwavering stance against terrorism and his selflessness for the country. May 21, his death anniversary, is observed as Anti-Terrorism Day nationwide as a tribute to him. The true tribute to Rajiv Ji lies in eradicating terrorism, naxalism, and corruption while fostering the country and the state's development.

Cooperative Society sparks economic empowerment, Lakshmi Dewangan and 97 women flourish in handloom business

Lakshmi Dewangan, a resident of Achhota village in Dhamtari, used to work as a labourer a few years ago. However, due to physical difficulties, she had to quit her job. Later, Lakshmi learned about the 'Mukhyamantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana'. She underwent a four-month training programme in the handloom and installed a handloom machine in her home.

Lakshmi started receiving work through Maa Angarmoti Bunkar Sahakari Samiti Maryadit Achhota, a cooperative society. Now, she earns thousands of rupees every month from the comfort of her home. In this cooperative, Lakshmi, along with 97 other women, is crafting a new narrative of economic empowerment in the rural environment through the handloom industry.

Earlier, the members of the cooperative used to individually perform handloom work in their own houses. However, due to limited space in many members' houses, the work couldn't be efficiently carried out. To address this issue, a handloom unit has been established in the Achhota Gauthan under the Mahatma Gandhi Rural Industrial Park Scheme.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the 'Bunkar Gudi', to facilitate the work for the cooperative members. Expressing their gratitude, the members involved in the handloom work thanked the Chief Minister for his efforts in elevating them from ordinary laborers to skilled artisans.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel commenced the distribution of cheques and goods to the beneficiaries under various government schemes during the Bhent-Mulakat program in village Bhatgaon of Dhamtari assembly constituency today. On the occasion, goods were distributed to five beneficiaries under National Child Health Program (Chirayu) by the Health Department, appointment letters were handed over to 23 newly-appointed sub-engineers by the Water Resources Department, and certificates were distributed to 30 beneficiaries by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department under various schemes.  These include caste certificate issued under Chhattisgarh government's new simplification scheme, forest village to revenue village record update and survey village certificate. Similarly, sanction order letters were distributed to five beneficiaries of District Panchayat Dhamtari, 314 beneficiaries of Municipal Corporation Dhamtari and five beneficiaries of Nagar Panchayat Amadi under unemployment allowance scheme. On behalf of District Panchayat Dhamtari, three beneficiaries of National Family Assistance Scheme and five beneficiaries of Rajiv Gandhi Landless Agricultural Laborer Scheme were provided cheques.

On behalf of the Labor Department, Chief Minister distributed cheques of Rs 9 lakh 80 thousand to 49 beneficiaries under various schemes including Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana, Chief Minister Construction Workers Death and Disabled Assistance Scheme, Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Yojana, Meritorious Student / Girl Child Education Promotion Scheme. Livestock Development Department distributed cheques of Rs 2 lakh 10 thousand to three beneficiaries under State Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme, and Department of Horticulture distributed cheques of Rs 3 lakh 24 thousand 100 to 5 beneficiaries under the State sponsored scheme and National Agriculture Development Scheme. Cheques of Rs one lakh each was distributed to three women self-help groups under the loan scheme by the Women and Child Development Department. These include Jai Bajrang Self Help Group Sehradbari, Jai Maa Sheetla Self Help Group Baliara and New Shakti Sai Self Help Group Bhanpuri. Similarly, cheques worth a total of Rs 52 thousand were distributed to 6 beneficiaries under the scheme of retail fish sales, boat nets, three-year committee grant from the Department of Fisheries, Rs 50 thousand were distributed to 5 beneficiaries under Samagra Shiksha from the Department of Education, Rs 16 thousand 600 were distributed to 5 beneficiaries under NFSM Scheme, Agriculture Mechanization and Atma Yojana of Agriculture Department and materials worth Rs. 52 thousand 807 were distributed to 8 beneficiaries under Sahayak Upkaran Praday Yojana of Social Welfare Scheme.

In accordance with the special initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and on the lines of the National Tribal Festival, a three-day National Ramayan Festival is being organized in Raigarh from June 1 to June 3. Preparations are in full swing for this event organized by the Culture Department. Foreign artists, along with artists from various states of the country, are being invited to the program. These artists from India and all over the world will perform a unique presentation of Ramayan on the land of Chhattisgarh.

     Chhattisgarh shares a profound bond with Lord Shri Ram. It is believed that Lord Ram passed through the forests of Dandakaranya, which include parts of forests in Chhattisgarh. Keeping this aspect in mind, special programs with themes centred on the Aranya Kand will be held during the festival. According to the information obtained from the officials of the Culture Department, artists of Manas Mandali coming from various states of the nation will perform in the Ramayan Festival from 2 pm to 6 pm, whereas artists of Manas Mandali arriving from foreign countries will perform from 8 pm to 10 pm in the event. Kelo Aarti and group chanting of Hanuman Chalisa will also be performed during the program, along with "Deepdan" in large numbers.

 The officers of the Culture Department said it is the first time that the department is organizing the National Ramayan Festival on a grand scale in Raigarh’s Ram Leela Ground. The Manas Mandali groups participating in the event will be awarded. The first, second, and third prizes have been decided as Rs. 5 lakh, Rs. 3 lakh, and Rs. 2 lakh respectively. This will be a unique initiative on the national level by the state government to preserve the culture of the state.

 It is noteworthy that the story of Ramayan has been written in many languages and performed in many countries. The Ram Leela Ground in Raigarh will now stage the beautiful presentation of Ramayan. There has been an unbroken tradition of Ram Leela in India. When the legend of Lord Ram is presented in the form of a festival, a large number of people will be able to benefit from the story of Ramayan. The presentation of the story of Lord Ram in the form of a festival will educate people about the ideals of Lord Ram.

        The Ramcharitmanas by Tulsidas Ji is quite popular and widespread in Chhattisgarh. Through the Ramayan Festival, viewers will get a glimpse of the ideals of Lord Ram from the various versions of the Ramayan, ranging from Valmiki to Bhavabhuti. The Ramayan extends from the Tamil Ramayan of Kamban to the Bangla Ramayan of Kritivas. Additionally, many forms of the story are prevalent in South-East Asian countries as well. The Ramayan Festival will provide viewers with beautiful glimpses of the character and personality of Lord Ram.

Budget for the scheme has been doubled, Rs 38 crore allocated

On the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, the amount of aid under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana has been increased to Rs 50 thousand. On the occasion of marriage, an amount of Rs 21 thousand will be provided to each of the beneficiary as bank draft, along with the gifts worth Rs 15,000. In the current financial year, a target has been set to organize marriage ceremony for three thousand girls from poor families in the first half and 07 thousand 500 girls on an annual basis. This target has been set with the noble aim to realizing the dream of many poor families to get their daughters married respectably

Under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana, an amount of Rs 8,000 per beneficiary will be spent on wedding arrangements and transport and Rs 6,000 will be spent on the makeup and bride-groom attires etc. In addition, gift materials worth Rs 15,000 will also be presented to the married couple. It is worth mentioning that Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel had increased the amount of aid under the scheme from Rs 15 thousand to Rs 25 thousand in year 2019. And now this amount has been increased to Rs 50 thousand in the budget of 2023-24. Compared to the year 2019, the fixed budget amount for the scheme has also been doubled to Rs 38 crore.

Benefits provided under the scheme

Under this scheme, financial aid is provided for marriage of the daughters of the families living below the poverty line or the ones coming from the beneficiary family of  Mukhyamantri Khadyann Yojana. Maximum two girls of age above 18 years per family will be entitled to avail this scheme. Widows, orphans, destitute girls are also covered under the scheme. To avail this scheme, people can contact the office of the District Women and Child Development Officer / District Program Officer,  and at block-level, the Child Development Project Officer or the Integrated Child Development Officer can be contacted. Recruitment to be done on 920 Posts Instead of 366: Director of Employment and Training Issues Revised Advertisement

No Need to Reapply: Candidates Who Already Applied for I.T.I. Training Officer Positions Included in the Recruitment Process

In accordance with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel's instructions and for the benefit of youth, the number of posts advertised for the recruitment of I.T.I. training officers has been increased from 366 to 920. The Director of Employment and Training has issued a revised advertisement, and candidates who have already applied need not reapply. Eligible candidates from Chhattisgarh will be considered for recruitment.

The Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board will conduct recruitment for these posts, for which the online application process started on May 8. It is noteworthy that following the order of the Honourable Supreme Court, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given necessary instructions in this regard to the higher officials after conducting a meeting with them. The recruitment process is in progress.

According to the revised advertisement issued by the department for the recruitment of training officers, the number of posts for electricians has been increased from 51 to 90. Likewise, the number of posts for computer operator and programming assistant has been increased from 86 to 242, for carpenter from 2 posts to 9, for turner from 6 posts to 10, for fitter from 48 posts to 100, for mechanic (tractor) from 2 posts to 3, for mechanic (diesel) from 32 posts to 90, for mechanic (motor vehicle) from 5 posts to 7, for workshop calculation and engineering drawing from 72 posts to 234, for wireman from 2 posts to 6, for welder from 30 posts to 89, for sheet metal worker from 1 post to 3, for sewing technology from 6 posts to 12, and for hospital housekeeping from 2 posts to 4.

No changes have been made in the number of posts for information and communication technology system maintenance (1 post), driver cum mechanic (6 posts), draftsman mechanical (1 post), machinist (4 posts), machinist grinder (1 post), mason (building constructor) (1 post), mechanic refrigeration and air conditioner (2 posts), secretarial practice (English) (2 posts), and employability skill (3 posts).

"Sant Kabir was a great saint, a mystic poet, and always emphasised on simplicity, humility, and oneness. He strongly opposed the hypocrisy and superstitions spreading in society. He plays with words like an artist who mixes paint to create new colours. This is the reason that even after 650 years, Kabir's Dohe (two-liners) retains its charm and relevance even today", Mr. Baghel was addressing the Sant Samagam organised at Sadguru Kabir Ashram in Selud village of Patan development block under Durg district on Sunday. He announced the construction of a dome structure in Sadguru Kabir Ashram.

The Chief Minister stated that Sadhguru Kabir's couplets reflect his vision and love for society. He was the 'true social reformer' who devoted his life to demolishing the walls of caste and preaching social brotherhood. He preached against the exploitation of the poor in the name of religion and law by the people in power. He was a saint not bound to any sect or community but to all of society. The Chief Minister further stated that the Chhattisgarh government is also working in the fields of education, health, and culture by following the path shown by these great saints. The Chief Minister offered flowers to Sadguru Kabir's statue and paid his obeisance. RTO has introduced a new system to enhance the transparency in services. Now the information about RC and license issuance will be sent directly to the vehicle owners on their WhatsApp. Under the new system, vehicle owners will receive the RC-license number, tracking number with the name of the applicant along with the date of RC-license issuance and dispatch through WhatsApp message.

This new facility has been added to the 'Tunhar Sarkar Tunhar Dwar' scheme of Transport Department as per the instructions of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and under guidance of Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar. From June 2021 to present, 19 lakh 28 thousand 916 smart card based registration certificates and driving licenses have been delivered to the applicants. These include 13 lakh 14 thousand 768 smart card based registration certificates and 6 lakh 14 thousand 148 driving licences.

Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar is regularly monitoring the implementation of 'Tunhar Sarkar Tunhar Duar' scheme. This scheme of Transport Department is an important scheme, introduced for the convenience of the people. Under this scheme, 22 transport related services are being provided to the people at their doorstep, saving their time and money.

Transport Commissioner Mr. Dipanshu Kabra said that earlier, applicants were provided brief information through SMS only, and the SMS only contained the RC-license number and the tracking number. It did not even mention the name. But now the applicants will receive elaborate notification from RTO on WhatsApp as well.  Now the applicants can download RC-license online any time anywhere from the parivahan website.

If not delivered on time, one can file complaint on the helpline

If the RC is not received through speed post within a week of printing, the applicant can file complaint by calling the helpline number 7580808030 as issued by the Transport Department. All the information related to the arrival of RC-License can be obtained by calling on the toll free number from 10 am to 5:30 pm, except on the holidays. Problems and complaints will also be resolved through this toll-free number.

Version

To improve the efficiency, transparency and accesibility ofthe transport service accessible, information about RC-license etc will now be sent to the vehicle owners through SMS as well as WhatsApp. And any query and complaint will be resolved through toll free number.

He wished them a bright and successful future. In a gesture of appreciation, he also announced that the students who secured a place in the top ten in the 10th and 12th exams would be taken on a helicopter ride.

It is worth mentioning that Rahul Yadav and Vidhi Bhosle secured top positions in the 10th and 12th board exams, respectively, conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. The results for the main exams of the 10th and 12th grades were announced by the School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam. 75.05 per cent of students were successful in the 10th-grade exam, while 79.96 per cent of students passed the 12th-grade exam.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has congratulated and wished a bright future to the students who have come out with flying colours in the results of class 10th and class 12th board exams, which were announced by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education today. To the students who could not pass the exams, Chief Minister has advised to not get disheartened. Mr. Baghel has advised such students to check their weaknesses and work on it with dedication and persistence. In his tweet on twitter, Mr. Baghel has promised that the meritorious students making it to the top ten list of the board examination will be given a helicopter ride.

Chief Minister also lauded the excellent performance of the students of Swami Atmanand Schools. Five students of Swami Atmanand School have made it to the merit list of class 12th board exam, and all the top 10 rankers of the 10th board exam results are from Swami Atmanand Schools.

After declaring the results of the High School and Higher Secondary School Certificate Main Examination 2023, School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam extended congratulations to the students who have successfully passed the exam and consolation to the ones who couldn't. He motivated the students who could not pass to keep up the hard work and study with dedication. On this occasion, Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Dwarkadhish Yadav, Chairman of the Board of Secondary Education Dr. Alok Shukla, Secretary Professor V.K.Goyal along with members, officers and employees of the Board were also present.

A total of 48 students have secured the top ten ranks in 10th board exam and 30 students have made it to the merit list of class 12th board exam. In the merit list of 10th board examination, Rahul Yadav of Swami Atmanand Government Excellent Hindi Medium School, Jashpur has secured first position with 98.83 percent marks, Sikander Yadav of Swami Atmanand Government Excellent English Medium School, Jashpur has secured second position with 98.67 percent marks. The merit list of 10th board exam includes 19 students from tribal areas i.e. 12 from Jashpur, 4 from Kanker, 2 from Surguja, one from Surajpur. The merit list includes 28 girl students, 20 boys; 23 of these students are from government schools and 25 are from private schools.

In the merit list of 12th board examination, Vidhi Bhosle of Abhinav V.M. Higher Secondary School Pusaur Raigarh has secured first position with 98.20 percent marks, Vivek Aggarwal of Anunay Convent Higher Secondary School Sakti Janjgir-Champa has secured second position with 97.40 marks. As many as 18 girl students and 12 boy students have made it to the merit list of 12th board exam, including two students from tribal area i.e. one from Kanker and one from Jashpur. Out of the 30 students who have made it to the merit list, 11 are from government schools and 19 are from private schools.

It is noteworthy that the results of the main examination of the 10th-12th board conducted by CGBSE have this year have significantly improved in comparison to the last year. This year 75.05 percent students have passed in the 10th board examination, which is 0.82 percent more than last year. Similarly, 79.96 percent students have passed in the 12th board examination this year, which is 0.66 percent more than last year. In high school, 70.26 percent boys and 79.16 percent girls have passed, while in higher secondary, 75.36 percent boys and 83.64 percent girls have passed.

A total of 3,37,559 candidates were registered in the High School Certificate Main Examination year 2023 organized by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education. Of these, 3,30,681 candidates appeared in the examination, including 1,52,891 boys and 1,77,790 girls. Results of 3,30,055 candidates were declared today. A total of 75.05 percent of the candidates have passed. The percentage of girl students who have passed is 79.16 and the percentage of boy students who have passed is 70.26. The number of candidates who passed in the first division is 1,09,903 (33.30 percent), the number of candidates who have passed in the second division is 1,19,901 (36.32 percent) and the number of candidates who have passed the exam in the third division is 17,914 (5.43 percent). 03 candidates have passed in 'pass' category. 17,923 candidates are eligible for supplementary. The results of a total of 626 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons. The results of 16 candidates have been withheld due to cheating case and the application of 281 candidates have been canceled due to lack of eligibility and the results of 324 candidates are under scrutiny. The results of remaining 05 candidates will be declared later.

In the High School Certificate Main Examination 2022, a total of 3,63,301 candidates had appeared. This included 1,71,539 boys and 191,762 girl candidates. The pass percentage was 74.23. In this way this year's result has improved by 0.82 percent, as compared to last year.

A total of 3,28,121 candidates were registered in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Main Examination year 2023. Of these, 3,23,625 candidates appeared in the examination, which included 1,43,919 boys and 179,706 girls. The results of 3,23,266 candidates were declared today. The total number of candidates that have passed the exam is 2,58,500 i.e. 79.96 percent. The percentage of girl students who have passed is 83.84 and the percentage of boys who have passed is 75.36. The number of candidates who have passed in the first division is 87,140 (26.96 percent), the number of candidates who have passed in the second division is 1,45,965 (45.15 percent) and the number of candidates who have passed the exam under the third division is 25,377 (7.85 percent).18 have cleared the exam under 'pass' category, while 22751 are eligible for supplementary.

Results of 359 candidates have been withheld due to various reasons. Results of 30 candidates have been withheld under cheating case, applications of 279 candidates have been canceled due to ineligibility and results of 43 candidates are under scrutiny. Apart from this, the results of 07 candidates will be declared later.

A total of 2,87,673 candidates had appeared in the Higher Secondary School Certificate Main Examination in the year 2022, out of which were 129,213 boys and 1,58,460 were girls. The pass percentage of the combined candidates was 79.30. In this way, there has been an improvement of about 0.88 percent in the exam result this year, as compared to last year. This year, there were 2,418 examination centers for high school exams and there were 2,308 exam centers and 29 coordination centers for higher secondary examination.

As per the orders of Chhattisgarh Government's School Education Department, a total of 3,199 students including 1,286 students in high school examination and 1,913 students in higher secondary have been given bonus marks in non-academic activities. In the year 2022, a total of 3,214 students including 1571 students in the high school examination and 1643 in the higher secondary examination were awarded bonus marks. In compliance to the decision taken by the board, marks of non-academic activities has not been added this year and a provisional merit list has been prepared excluding the bonus marks. Financial Assistance up to a maximum of Rs 25 lahks is being made available to the youth.

In a bid to set up industries and to provide self-employment to the youth, the Chhattisgarh government has implemented the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana. Through this scheme, financial assistance, margin money grant, credit guarantee fee, and annual service fee are being given to the youth of the state. It is noteworthy that a total margin money grant of Rs 936.63 lakh has been provided to 2614 youths in the last four and a half years by issuing loans through banks.

The main objective of this scheme is to increase employment opportunities in rural and urban areas by motivating the youth towards self-entrepreneurship. The consumer demand of rural and urban areas can also be fulfilled by setting up local industries. As Chhattisgarh is an agricultural extensive state, the scheme also aims to expand agriculture-allied industries in the state. Financial assistance, guarantee, training and follow-up are also being made available to the youth under this scheme so that every youth with an entrepreneurial spirit can contribute towards the economic progress of the state by establishing one’s own industry or business..

Under this scheme, the Youth can avail loans up to a maximum of Rs 2 lakh for setting up a business, Loan of Rs 10 lakh for service enterprises and a loan up to Rs 25 lakh for establishing manufacturing enterprises. The applicant must be a native of Chhattisgarh state. The applicant must be a native of Chhattisgarh state, have passed a minimum of 8th grade, and be between 18 to 35 years old on the date of application. Age relaxation of 5 years has been provided for scheduled castes, tribes, other backward classes, women, disabled entrepreneurs, members of Naxal-affected families, and retired soldiers.

During the Bhent Mulaqat program of Lormi Vidhan Sabha today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel observed the RIPA of Chandeli and inspected the livelihood-oriented activities happening there. He also held extensive discussions with members of the women's group. Sunita Dhruv, a member of Jai Budha Dev self-help group, informed the Chief Minister that she has been manufacturing cow dung-based natural paint for the last two months. They have sold 860 liters of cow dung paint, generating an income of Rs. 62,000.

Maa Ambe self-help group member Ganeshia Patel, who is running the Dona Pattal unit, informed that ten thousand bundles of Dona-Pattal have been made, and they earned 20 thousand in two months. They are also selling dona pattal in C-Mart and also sending them to the weekly market.

After this, the Chief Minister observed the shoe-slippers manufacturing unit. Pushpa Khunte of Vande Mataram self-help group informed that she has sold 309 pieces of slippers in a month, earning an income of Rs. 11,400. After this, the Chief Minister visited the Display Unit training room and commenced the Wi-Fi facility.

The members also told the Chief Minister about the fish farming being done in three ponds. Pushpa informed the Chief Minister that "we have three ponds here and we have extracted one quintal fish and earned an income of two lakh rupees from it."

The Chief Minister held extensive discussion with the women of the group in the display room. Rukmini Navrang of Deharkapa said that "we are pursuing numerous kinds of livelihood-oriented activities here and are easily earning up to ten thousand rupees every month, and recently, fish farming has also started here which will further increase our income."

Anupa Yadav of Adarsh Self-Help Group said that "we have started goat rearing and have earned more than Rs. 60,000 from it." Expressing gratitude to the Chief Minister, Anupa said that "the way you are promoting Gothans, the economic condition of women is getting stronger across the rural parts of the state". Sandhya Sahu of Mini Mata Self-Help Group informed that "10 pieces of sewing machines have been provided to us by the state government. We have sold clothes worth 20 thousand rupees in 2 months by taking multiple orders. An order for 5000 jute material products has been received through the C-Mart of Mungeli, and we are currently working on it."

The Chief Minister praised all the members of the group for their commendable work on a large scale and for making profits in the initial period itself. He expressed his belief that this has boosted their potential for a better and prosperous future. Additionally, he encouraged them to continue to increase the number of livelihood activities and make substantial profits together.

 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has said that the rural industrial parks of the state will be equipped with Wi-Fi connection. This facility would further help in developing these parks  as active centers of economic activities. In an important meeting held at his residence office today, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel reviewed the development of Rural Industrial Parks in gauthans and the progress of Chhattisgarh Socio-Economic Survey-2023. He has directed the officers to work expeditiously towards setting up a minimum of one dung paint manufacturing unit in each of the development blocks.  He has also instructed the officials concerned to establish market linkage of institutional sales centers of goods produced in RIPA with major business organisations.

 Mr. Baghel said that the gauthans connected with RIPA should be developed as multi-activity centers, and the families with traditional businesses should be encouraged to participate in the economic activities. Mr Baghel has directed the officials to create maximum employment opportunities through the livelihood activities conducted in gauthans. Instructions have been given to complete the skill development training of self-help groups associated with RIPA at the earliest. At the meeting, Chief Minister also gave instructions to plant shade and fruit-bearing trees in all the gauthans during the rainy season.

During the review of Chhattisgarh Socio-Economic Survey-2023 in the meeting, the officials informed that the survey was started from April 1 and completed on 30 April. Thereafter, the updation work was done from May 1 to 5. Now, special gram sabhas will be organised in villages from May 5 to May 15 to take claims and objections. The cases of claims and objections so registered will be resolved from May 15 to May 18.  From May 18 to May 25, the redressals done in the claims-objection cases will be approved again in the Gram Sabha.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel partook Bore-Basi with thousands of workers from all over the state in honour of manual workers on the occasion of Labour Day. During the group lunch of Bore-Basi Tihar organized in Raipur’s Science College Ground, the Chief Minister partook Bore Basi while sitting on the ground along with Athan, Chutney, Bhaji, Badi-Bijauri, and Gondli and celebrated Labour Day.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that Bore-Basi is a significant part of the culture of Chhattisgarhiya workers, and Bore-Basi Tihar is celebrated to express gratitude for the contribution of manual workers. Bore-Basi is not only the favourite food of workers but is also an important part of their lives. He added that the contribution of manual workers in the development of Chhattisgarh is priceless. Because of their efforts, we are rapidly progressing towards creating a new Chhattisgarh.

 Arrangements will be made to provide skill development training to the beneficiaries, youngsters pursuing higher education and preparing for competitive examinations will be able avail these benefits

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel transferred an amount of Rs 16 crore to the bank accounts of 66 thousand 256 beneficiaries of the unemployment allowance scheme, in the program organized at Chief Minister's residence office on Sunday. Each of the beneficiaries received an amount of Rs 2500 yesterday, and they will be provided this allowance every month.

In his virtual address to the beneficiaries, Chief Minister said that the monthly unemployment allowance will help the youngsters pursue higher education, prepare for competitive exams and undertake the skill development training. Mr. Baghel said that an action plan has been prepared to provide employment opportunities to the beneficiaries.

Chief Minister said that the application process for the unemployment allowance is simple and can be done online. In the first month itself, we have transferred more than Rs 16 crores through DBT in the accounts of the beneficiaries. Earlier the eligibility criteria for this allowance were complicated but now the State Government has simplified it. People with family income of up to Rs 2.5 lakh are eligible. Mr. Baghel said that he has distributed the unemployment allowance today but the actual purpose will be served when each of the beneficiary get employment. We have chalked out an action plan for 6 months for this purpose, while arrangements are also being made for training and recruitment of the beneficiaries. . There is also a complete arrangement for your training.

Chief Minister praised the Skill Development, Technical Education and Employment Department for the efficient implementation of the scheme. Chief Minister said that the budget was passed on March 24 and the process of accepting online applications stated from April 1. And within a month, funds have been transferred to 67 thousand people. This is a great example of how to get a job done in a record time. I congratulate Minister Mr. Umesh Patel, Principal Secretary Mr. Alok Shukla and their entire team for timely completing this task, said Mr. Baghel.

Chief Minister interacted with the beneficiaries online and offline

On this occasion, Chief Minister discussed unemployment allowance scheme with the beneficiaries present in the programme and those who connected online from across the state. Hitesh of Surguja told that this amount will help in further studies. Megha Khandekar told that her mother is a housewife. This money will help her to fulfill her dreams. She promised to make better use of the money provided under the scheme. Chief Minister said that the state government is making arrangements to provide employment to all as soon as possible. Ishwari Sahu from Raigarh said that she is studying PGDCA and her mother is a tailor and her father is a teacher in a private school. Their family income is low and this allowance will help her pursue higher studies. Chief Minister said that we have simplified the eligibility criteria for unemployment allowance, which has benefitted a large number of youth of the state.

Komal from Koriya told that she is pursuing M.Sc. and wants to become a teacher in future. Komal told that she will use this amount for her studies. Aishwarya Sahu of Durg told that she has done B.Ed. Now she will study further, while looking for good employment opportunities. Aishwarya also showed the SMS to the Chief Minister which notified the receipt of the allowance amount into her account through DBT. Priyanka Paikra of Surguja told that she will utilize the allowance to prepare for competitive exams. Vaibhav, who came from Bilaspur, told Chief Minister that he would utilize the amount to apply for the examinations across the country. He thanked Chief Minister for making the application fee free for Vyapam and PSC.

Rishabh Chandrakar from Mahasamund told that earlier he had to worry about the fee for his coaching classes but now with the unemployment allowance every month, he will be able to prepare for the competitive exams without any stress. Mitanjali told that I will run tuition classes with your money and teach mathematics to people for free. Sanjana Tiwari of Raipur said that students depend on their families to prepare for their competitive exams. Now with this allowance, we are not dependent on the family members. She told that she aims to become a deputy collector. Gajanand told that my parents are labourers and their financial condition is weak. He wants to prepare for competitive exams. A young man from Khairagarh told that he is the only BEd in his village. Now with the allowance, he will prepare for teacher recruitment. Chief Minister said that the aim of providing this allowance is to help the youth of the state to fulfill their dreams

 Chief Minister Mr. Baghel dedicates development works worth Rs 167 crore

1. Repair of streams, sewer lines, and chambers of old colonies under the Housing board located at Saddu and Kabir Nagar will be undertaken.

2. Provision of Rs. 50 lakh for every BSUP colony in the assembly constituency for the repairs of sewer seepage, chambers, etc.

3. ITI will be established in Birgaon.

4. Newly-constructed Government School in Ganganagar Bhanpuri under Ward no.04 of Raipur Municipality will be upgraded to Swami Atmanand English Medium School.

5. Upgradation of High School in Sarora to Higher Secondary School.

6. Upgradation of Government Middle School in Rawabhata and Sondongri to High Schools.

7. Boundary-wall construction and beautification of Ward No. 08’s Saddu Muktidham.

8. High schools of Urkura and Boriyakhurd will undergo expansion as new rooms will soon be added.

9. Quad Room construction in Daldal Seoni Mahavir Sports Ground of Ward no. 07.

10. Deepening and beautification of the pond in Nagar Panchayat Mana Camp will be undertaken

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel dedicated a slew of developmental works worth Rs 167 crore to the residents of the area today during Bhent-Mulaqat at Boriyakhurd, falling under Raipur Rural Assembly Constituency. These works include the inauguration of various developmental works worth more than Rs 36 crore and the Bhoomipujan of works worth more than Rs 126 crore.

             The Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and performed Bhoomipujan for several other developmental projects. These include approval of Rs 38 crore 02 lakh 79 thousand for 09 works of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Rs 05 crore 78 lakh 76 thousand for 16 works of Municipal Corporation Birgaon. Approval for Rs. 38 crore 56 thousand for 12 different development works of Public Works Department, Rs 44 crore 37 lakh for different development works of Nagar Panchayat Mana, and Rs 19 lakh 36 thousand for development works related to the Health and Family Welfare Department. Laid foundation stone for 02 development works for Chhattisgarh State Power Distribution Company Limited at a cost of Rs.04 crore 03 lakh 22 thousand.

          Similarly, the Chief Minister said that "Our government is determined to connect the villages, the poor, the farmers, and the general public to the mainstream of development." Inauguration of various developmental works worth Rs. 36.57 crore was done, which includes 13 works of Municipal Corporation Raipur costing 32 crore 76 lakh 33 thousand, 02 works of Municipal Corporation Birgaon costing 74 lakh 87 thousand, work of Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency costing 50 lakh 36 thousand, and 1 work of Chhattisgarh Rural Road Development Agency costing Rs. 02 crore 56 lakh 41 thousand
