Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reviewed the progress of government schemes by holding a meeting of officials at Abhanpur circuit house yesterday after Bhent-mulaqat with the general public in Tamasivni and Khorpa villages under Abhanpur assembly constituency of Raipur district. He inquired about various schemes including Godhan Nyay Yojana, RIPA, Narva Yojana. The Chief Minister said that instructions were given to the officers to connect rural women with livelihood-oriented activities and to bring progress in the works of Narva. Took information about ground water level from the Public Health Engineering Department and gave instructions to continue the Narva program.
Prior to this, Chief Minister directed Revenue Department officials to correct the settlement error as well as to carry out caste certificate and other revenue work on a regular basis. While for the Suposhan Abhiyan he instructed for going to the homes of malnourished children to provide nutritional information, getting pregnant women checked for anaemia, arranging treatment for anaemia, and providing free treatment and other facilities to an increasing number of people in the Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana.He also reviewed the condition of roads and progress of Jal Jeevan Mission from the PHE department. Expressed serious displeasure on the complaint of illegal liquor and over rate. Similarly, asked to take strict action on the complaint of illegal mining. On this occasion, Abhanpur MLA Mr. Dhanendra Sahu, Chief Minister's Secretary Mr. Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi, Raipur District Collector, Superintendent of Police and other senior officers were present.
Tendupatta Collection Year 2023: Rs 822 crore generated in first and second tenders, 68 per cent quantity sold

In the first and second tenders of the Tendupatta collection for the year 2023, 68 per cent of the notified quantity in the state was sold at an average rate of Rs 7,199 per standard bag, totaling to Rs 822 crore. The third cycle of online tenders was invited from January 31 to February 3, 2023, for the advance sale of the notified quantity of Tendu leaves.
According to the information received from the Chhattisgarh State Minor Forest Produce Co-operative Federation Limited, a post-bid sale management software has been developed for further online action after the sale of Tendupatta. Using this software, the buyer appointment order, buyer agreement, and other tasks will be conducted online by the buyers, allowing those from remote areas to complete all necessary work from their location. This year, the Minor Forest Produce Federation will pay special attention to the quality of Tendu leaves before collection, ensuring that collectors can gather high-quality leaves and receive maximum collection remuneration.
It is worth mentioning that the state government has increased the tendu leaf collection rate from Rs 2,500 per standard bag to Rs 4,000 per standard bag since the year 2019. In Chhattisgarh, online tenders were invited for the first cycle of advance sale of 954 lots of 902 primary minor forest produce cooperative societies and the notified quantity of 16.72 lakh standard bags of Tendupatta to be collected in 2023, from December 15, 2022, to December 21, 2022, and for the second cycle from January 10, 2023, to January 13, 2023. Given the high quality of Tendu leaves in the state of Chhattisgarh, 117 bidders from across the country participated in the first tender for the Tendupatta collection year 2023.
Under the chairmanship of Forest Minister Shri Mohammad Akbar, a meeting of the Forest Produce State Trade Inter-Departmental Committee was held on January 3 this year for the first tender and on January 27 for the second tender. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and Sports and Youth Welfare Minister Mr. Umesh Patel have congratulated all the players, coaches, managers and officials of the Chhattisgarh Malkhamb team for this accomplishment.
It is noteworthy that on February 7, the women and men athletes of Chhattisgarh displayed their best performances and created history by earning the title of team champion by earning 201.25 points in the Khelo India youth Games 2022.

Mrs. Mehrunisha, a beneficiary of this scheme, stated that under the Minimata Mahtari Jatan Yojana, we received 20,000 rupees, which made us very happy. Chhattisgarh's ambitious Godhan Nyaya Yojana, which was commenced on the initiative of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, has given rise to an socio-economic revolution in the state with its launch. In a very short span of time, this scheme has proved its significance and attracted the attention of the whole country. This unique scheme has given people a source of additional income and also has given employment opportunities especially to rural women. It is noteworthy that the Chhattisgarh government is buying cow dung from cattle rearers under this scheme. Vermicompost is being made from the procured cow dung by self help groups of Gauthans . The positive impact of this public welfare scheme can be seen in the lives of numerous rural women. Similarly,the Swachh Manendragarh area level association are the direct witnesses of this change.
The turnover of the Swachh Manendragarh area level women association who are engaged in vermicompost manufacturing in the urban Gauthan of the Mahendragarh district headquarter under the state's new district Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur has reached Rs 1 crore. With the launch of the scheme in the year 2020, the work of cow dung procurement was started in numerous Gauthans across the state. Today, 100312 quintal vermicompost amounting to Rs 1 crore 32 thousand has been sold by this association. In this, the net profit of the group is Rs 36.73 lakh.

Savita Das, a member of the Swachh Manendragarh Area Level Association of Mahendragarh development block which produces maximum vermicompost in the entire district, says that when the Godhan Nyaya Yojana was launched, they started the work of manufacturing vermicompost by joining the Gauthan of the city. She said that "As we started to make profit from production and sale, people's attitude towards us started changing. Through this scheme, many women have got means of self-employment and I have bought a two wheeler with the profit I got from the sale of vermicompost. Savita smiles and says that she comes to Gouthan in her two wheeler everyday.

Another member Augustina Ekka says that after the death of her husband, the family faced financial problems, but now she is working in Gauthan to support the family. In this Gauthan, some women associated with the work of vermicompost fertilizer production are from poor families, while some have never worked outside the house. Under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana, so far more than 01 lahks 25 thousand citizens have obtained information regarding obtaining government documents by contacting Mitan Yojana's toll-free number 14545. Under the direction of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and by the Urban Administration Development Department, the door access service 'Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana' was started on May 01, 2022, in all the 14 municipal corporations of the state to make government documents available to the citizens.

Chief Minister, Mr. Bhupesh Baghel said that it is imperative that a rural industrial policy be developed soon in order to create more employment and self-employment opportunities in rural areas along the lines of the new rural industrial policy. Mr. Baghel was addressing the online distribution program of cow dung purchase and dividend amount to cattle rearing villages, women groups, and Gauthan committees at his residential office today. As part of the program, he released an amount of Rs 8 crore and 23 lakh online.
Addressing the function, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the Rural Industrial Parks associated with Gauthan are becoming functional in most of the places. Now before this work is complete, we have to work towards formulating rural industry policy, for this, the concerned department should complete the process soon. So that when the Rural Industrial Parks start functioning completely, the beneficiaries associated with them can be helped by taking loans from the bank and starting other businesses.
Congratulating the women groups associated with Gauthan including cattle rearers, the Chief Minister said that it is a very good thing that they are continuously making records. After payment of 8.23 crores, this figure will become Rs.403 crores 58 lakhs. Similarly, after payment of Rs 4.76 crore to cow dung vendors, this figure will be Rs 206 crore 49 lakh. Expressing happiness over the power units started for power generation from cow dung, he directed to connect the power generated from these units to the power grid and fix the price of electricity.
The Chief Minister stated that it is a matter of pride that 4927 Gauthans have become self-reliant in the state and have begun purchasing cow dung from their own savings. As of now, the Gauthan groups that used to make earthen lamps, vermicompost, etc. will now be contributing towards the production of electricity. As per the MOU signed for power generation in the past, Bemetara and Bastar have taken concrete shape at the ground level and Now the task of connecting the electricity produced by it to the power grid and fixing the price of the electricity produced from it will be completed soon.
While reviewing the unit for making paint from cow dung, the Chief Minister said that it is a matter of happiness that 23 paint units are under process in 21 districts, and 13 units have been completed. More than 17 thousand liters of paint has been produced and an income of more than 22 lakh rupees has been earned. He said that schools and government offices will soon require a large amount of paint, so we have to produce natural paint by balancing the demand and supply so that paint can be supplied at the right time.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel praised the farmers who donated at Vishal Kisan Annadata Sammelan held in Rajnandgaon development block village Bharregaon. According to the Chief Minister, the farmers of the state have donated more than 15 lakh quintals of Paddy stubble in Gauthan in response to the Pairadan appeal. In addition, 12 thousand 230 farmers in this area have done commendable work by donating approximately 95 thousand 680 quintals of paddy stubble to 414 Gauthans. This also works for the arrangement of fodder for the cattle.

Public Works Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu inaugurated the 526 meter long Telghani Railway Overbridge built at a cost of Rs 35.54 crore near Raipur Railway Station and the 407 meter long and 7.5 meter wide Gogaon Railway bridge constructed at a cost of Rs 15.73 crore in Urkura-Sarona bypass rail line. These two major construction works, on completion, would ensure smooth traffic facility for the people of Raipur city and solve the problem of traffic jam here.
Besides more than 3 lakh common people of the city, Telghani ROB will facilitate smooth traffic to the entire urban area for platforms 6 and 7 of the railway station. Similarly, with the commencement of the Gogaon RUB, a population of more than 3 lakh in this area will be benefited. Mr. Sahu expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on behalf of more than six lakh residents of the city for both these facilities.
On this occasion, Public Works Minister Mr. Tamradhwaj Sahu while addressing the local public said that both these bridges were among the priority works of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and the Chief Minister had also given instructions to complete them as soon as possible.
In his address, Public Works Minister said that today, one corner of the city has been connected with the other. With smooth traffic movement on both sides of the city, trade-business and communication will also improve rapidly. He further told that the movement of heavy vehicles from the old Telghani overbridge has been stopped, now only two wheelers and small four wheelers will be able to pass through this bridge. This would ensure smooth and safe commute to the people.
Parliamentary Secretary Mr. Vikas Upadhyay said that Chhattisgarh government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel is running many schemes to put money into people's pockets, significantly improving their purchasing power. People are purchasing vehicles for their convenience, so it is the responsibility of the government to provide good roads for them. Earlier the traffic system of the city was according to the population of 7-8 lakhs, but now the population of city has increased to about 25 lakhs. To expand the traffic facility as per the requirement of the current population, two new bridges have been inaugurated in the city today. I express my gratitude to the Chief Minister as well as the Public Works Minister for providing continuous free movement facility to the people, said Mr. Upadhyay.
On this occasion, Chairman of Chhattisgarh Housing Board Mr. Kuldeep Juneja, Mayor Mr. Aijaz Dhebar, MLA of Raipur Rural Assembly Constituency Mr. Satyanarayan Sharma, President of District Cooperative Central Bank Mr. Pankaj Sharma, other public representatives and officers of Public Works Department and Railway Department were present.
Farmers in elephant-affected areas will be free to tend to their crops without worry.

Raipur, 03 February 2023 / Farmers in the Pratappur area of the Surajpur district will be able to farm and maintain crops without fear, and they will be assisted in reaching safe areas when elephants arrive. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, spearheaded the installation of 33 solar high mast lights in elephant-affected villages in the area.
It should be mentioned that during the Chief Minister's statewide "Bhent-Mulaqat" Abhiyan, the residents of Govindpur village in Surajpur district's Pratappur development block urged that solar high mast lights be installed in the elephant-affected areas. The villagers stated that because of the darkness in the village when the elephant arrived, they were forced to move to other locations to seek shelter in a safe location. Solar high mast lights will assist them in moving toward a safe location.
At the villagers' request, the Chief Minister directed officers to install solar high mast lights on the spot. Following the Chief Minister's announcement, officials from the District Administration, Forest Department, and CREDA visited the elephant-affected areas and chose a suitable location for the solar high mast. CREDA chose the location for the installation of 33 solar high mast lights.
Besides, Villagers in elephant-affected areas are pleased with the installation of solar high mast lights. Lighting has now been installed near the village's surrounding forests. They will be able to get advance notice of elephant arrivals using this method. Now, they will also not have to face the darkness on their way back from the fields in the evening. They will be able to care for the crop without fear, and it will be easier for them to travel to a safe location. The villagers expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the Chief Minister for his initiative in installing solar lights in elephant-affected areas.
