Chhattisgarh government's ambitious scheme, Mukhyamantri Shehri Slum Swasthya Yojana, provides free health care access to urban residents through mobile medical units. Collector Ms. Richa Prakash Chowdhary is continually directing the relevant officers and personnel to ensure that the largest number of beneficiaries benefit from the Mukhyamantri Shehri Slum Swasthya Yojana. The impoverished will benefit greatly from the implementation of this scheme. Under the concept, free health camps are established in several specified urban body places, and people are treated close to their homes. Doctors, paramedical teams, and mobile medical units equipped with medical equipment and medicines are providing health services to residents in the slums of the state's urban districts under the scheme. The initiative eliminates the need for ordinary people to visit hospitals by providing free health screenings, treatment, and medications close to their homes. This saves both people's time and money. Using this, 1099 camps have been set up in the district. So far, more than 94 thousand 3 hundred people have benefited from it. Aside from that, lab testing for more than 20 thousand 9 hundred people has been performed.
Beneficiary Dilip Kumar benefited from the program
Dilip Kumar Yadav, a local resident, went to the district's health camp near Ward No. 20 Girls Hostel for a check-up, he had a conversation with a doctor at the mobile medical unit about his health problems, and the doctor examined him and gave him syrup and tablets that gave him relief. After, receiving the benefits Dilip Yadav stated that if anyone in the house is ill, he goes to the mobile medical unit for a checkup, where he receives free health tests, treatment, and medicines. As, a result of this they have received relief from costly medical expenses and medications, expressing his gratitude towards the Chhattisgarh government for giving free medical consultation and medication through the doctor at MMU he thanked the government for introducing such a useful scheme. Similarly, Manoj Agrawal, a resident of Akaltara, Balram Patel, a resident of Baloda, and Bisahin Yadav, a resident of Janjgir, also expressed their gratitude to the Chhattisgarh government for providing no-cost medicines, lab tests, and treatment.

The conversation between Chief Minister Baghel, and the students of Swami Atmanand School namely Sahil Sahu and Mahi Pandey hailing from a small gram panchayat of Seoni left everyone including Mr. Baghel awestruck with their fluency in English.
The children studying in Atmanand School conversed with the Chief Minister in English in the Bhent Mulaqat program organized in Seoni, a Gram Panchayat of Janjgir Champa district. The children further said that their family members are very happy with the free English education they are getting through Swami Atmanand School. On this, Chief Minister Shri Baghel said that “If citizens are happy ,I am happy too and if free education in Swami Atmanand School is saving the money of your families and children are getting a quality education, then the family members are bound to be happy”. The Chief Minister said that the purpose of Swami Atmanand English Medium School Scheme is to provide free English medium education to the children of poor andmiddle-classs families. The Chief Minister further pointed out and said that “private schools charge exorbitant fees and not everyone can afford private schools, education is a necessity that should not be dependent on anyone’s financial condition, so to provide strong educational foundation for tomorrow’s youth Swami Atmanand Schools are being run by the state government which has solved the worry of paying fees for quality English education.
The Chief Minister asked the children how much fees they used to pay in private schools earlier. On this, Sahil Sahu told that during his studies in private school, 15 thousand rupees had to be paid in every three months. Mahi Pandey said that she had to pay 20 thousand rupees as annual school fees. Due to this the family members had to face huge financial burden. Now studying in Swami Atmanand School, they do not have to pay fees which have resulted in higher savings of numerous families. The Chief Minister also asked the children about the facilities available in Swami Atmanand School. On which the children responded in English and informed him about the modern lab, library, efficient teachers, clean toilets, and playgrounds available in the school. On this, the Chief Minister praised the students for their intelligence.

Director of Public Instruction Department issues an order to suspend the former principal of Government Higher Secondary School Semra

Following the instructions of Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel, the Director of the Public Instruction Department has issued an order to suspend the Principal cum lecturer-in-charge Mr.Lokpal Singh of Government Higher Secondary School of Semra in Janjgir-Champa district. During the Bhent-Mulaqat in Nawagarh block of Janjgir-Champa district, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel reached Semra village today. There he interacted with the students and received a complaint against the then-in-charge Principal, Mr. Lokpal Singh. Students told him that he was not interested in listening to them and did not resolve the problems faced by students. The students had to go on strike to implement the state government's order for waiving off school fees during Covid. Taking this complaint seriously, Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel directed the officials to suspend Mr.Lokpal Singh.
In an order issued by the Director of the Public Instruction Department, it has been mentioned that the District Education Officer of Janjgir-Champa had received a complaint against the Principal-in-charge of the Government Higher Secondary School Semra for not returning the fees taken from the students of this school in the past. In an order issued on January 12 2021, he was transferred to the Government Higher Secondary School at Dhurkot and ordered to continue teaching there. He did not hand over the charge of his post till November 10, 2022, and did not join the Government Higher Secondary School at Dhurkot. He remained in the former school in contempt of the order issued to him. The District Education Officer of Janjgir-Champa on November 10, 2022, conducted an investigation against the charges received by him and found them true.
It has been mentioned in the suspension order issued by the Director of the Public Instruction Department that due to the above act of Mr.Lokpal Singh being contrary to the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Conduct) Rules 1965, he is suspended with immediate effect under the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966. During the suspension period, he has been attached to the office of the District Education Officer, Janjgir-Champa. During the suspension period, he will be eligible for subsistence allowance as per the rules.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Friday reached Semra village of Janjgir-Champa assembly constituency as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. He commenced his programme by garlanding the portrait of 'Chhattisgarh Mahtari' and lighting the lamp.
During his interaction with the farmers, the Chief Minister said "paddy harvesting has started across the state. Good monsoon this year has resulted in good yield. Keeping in view the convenience of the farmers, paddy procurement has also started from November 1. Farmers have started selling paddy by getting tokens as per their convenience."
Pointing out the benefits of donating paddy stubble, Shri Baghel appealed to the farmers to donate the same as fooder to the state-run Gauthans. This will curb pollution due to stubble burning and will help in increasing the availability of fodder for the cattle. He also urged farmers not to burn the leftover paddy stubble after harvesting.
"Keeping in view the interest of the farmers, the amount of Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Godhan Nyay Yojana, and Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana have been distributed ahead of Diwali. This has brought smiles to the faces of farmers and labourers. Market activities picked up during the festive season", he said.
On the demand of the villagers, the Chief Minister announced the opening of a co-operative bank in village Dhurkot, renaming of the new government college of Nawagarh after Lingeshwar Mahadev, the renovation of the Lingeshwar temple, the opening of Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Nawagarh and renaming Government High School Budhena after Ayurveda Ratna Dr. Gulab Singh. Similarly, he also announced the construction of a shed and raised platform in the village Semra weekly market, an additional building, and a toilet in high school Kutra, the construction of a CC road in village Aurai, CC road till Muktidham in village Salkhan and establishment of a playground in Nagar Panchayat Nawagarh.
"Earlier I used to move away to Jammu for earning a livelihood. However, as the financial condition of the family improved due to the loan waiver and Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, I have stopped moving out for work for the last two years. Now, I am practicing farming in my home village only", said Shri Bharat Patel, a resident of Amora Gram Panchayat. He added that his loan of Rs 10,000 has been waived off and a bonus of Rs 19,000 has been received. Besides, he has got a profit of Rs 20,000 by selling cow dung under Godhan Nyay Yojana. "I have got my house repaired with the money received under various schemes of the state government. My son is doing an ITI course", he said.
Tanya Keshri, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School Pamgarh won praise from Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel for her fluency in English. Tanya had a conversation with Chief Minister in English and said with the opening of government English medium schools they are able to get their education in English medium without worrying about the hefty school fees.
Expressing his happiness Chief Minister said "It gives me immense happiness to see students of rural areas speak English fluently. To keep children connected to their roots, education will be imparted in Chhattisgarhi and Sanskrit language once a week."
On the complaint of a girl student, the Chief Minister directed the officials concerned to suspend the previously posted principal and transfer the clerk of the Semra High School. The girl complained that the then-principal did not listen to the problems of the students. They even had to go on strike regarding the school fee waiver issue during the Covid-19 pandemic. The teachers here had to do administrative tasks due to the negligence of the school clerk at work.

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, while addressing the meeting of officers in Shivrinarayan during his Bhent-Mulaqat visit, said that strict adherence to the quality standards should be ensured in the ongoing works of drinking water schemes under Jal Jeevan Mission. Certain complaints have been received in the context from this area and the problems so reported should be resolved as soon as possible. In some villages of the region, the farmers of submerged areas have not yet received the compensation amount. Mr. Baghel directed the Collector to make sure that the farmers receive the compensation they are entitled for. Mr. Baghel gave instructions to prepare a concrete action plan to ensure supply of water to the fields of tail area under the irrigation project. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that as far as possible force should not be involved in removing encroachment on government land.
Chief Minister also said that the small grant amounts sanctioned by the government are important for poor families and they should not have to frequently visit the government offices to get that financial aid released. Mr. Baghel directed the officials to ensure maximum convenience of the beneficiaries in this regard.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the announcements made by the government should be implemented on priority in the given time-frame. He said that the paddy harvesting season is about to begin and now a large quantity of hay would get stacked up in the farm. Farmers should be encouraged to donate this hay to Gauthans. Public awareness programs should be conducted in this regard. Chief Minister further said that the administration should now focus on the new Gauthans, besides the self-supporting Gauthans. Mr. Baghel said that a large number of people migrate to other cities for employment. But if the livelihood activities are actively conducted in gauthans and rural industrial parks, people will not have to wander in search of work.
Chief Minister said that Shivrinarayan is a major religious and historical tourist destination of the state. The government is developing adequate facilities for the convenience of the tourists visiting here. Chief Minister directed the officials to repair the roads of rural as well as urban areas. He gave instructions to take strict action against illegal liquor, gambling, betting and drugs. In the meeting, Mr. Baghel specially emphasized on improving the quality of school education. Officers were directed to conduct regular inspection visits to the schools and ensure the necessary improvements.

Out of these, he conducted the Bhumipoojan of 26 works worth Rs. 16 crores 14 lakh 53 thousand and the inauguration of 14 works worth Rs. 7 crores 75 lakh 44 thousand.
The Chief Minister conducted the Bhumipoojan of 4 works in Co-operative Bank worth Rs. 5 crores, 11 works in Rural Engineering Service worth Rs.2.35 crore, 2 works for Water Resource Subdivision in Janjgir worth Rs. 5.23crore, one work for the Health and Family Welfare Department worth Rs. 2.43 crore, two works for the Public Welfare Department worth Rs. 4.54 crore, 7 works for Gram Panchayat worth Rs. 81 lakh crore, making a total of 26 works worth Rs. 16.14 crore.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister approved a financial grant of Rs 1.60 crore on the demand of representatives of various social organizations. He gave instructions to build a library in Shivrinarayan and name it after novelist Thakur Jagmohan Singh. The Chief Minister said that Thakur Jagmohan Singh was a famous novelist as well as a Tehsildar of Shivrinarayan. He directed the Collector to inspect the place and prepare an estimate for installation of the statue of Maharana Pratap at Janjgir by Thakur Samaj.
In the programme, the Chief Minister also approved a grant of Rs 20 lakh to the Sikh community for the construction of Dharamshala in the Gurudwara of Pamgarh block besides approving construction of Ghat. Similarly, an amount of Rs 15 lakh was sanctioned for construction of the community hall of Swarnakar Samaj and Rs.25 lakh to Nayak Banjara Samaj for community hall construction. Similarly, Rs 20 lakh for upgradation of Dharamshala of Kesharwani Samaj, Rs 10 lakh each for construction of additional room in Dharamshala of Devangan Samaj in Rahod and Shakambhari Bhawan in Kesla, Rs 25 lakh each for construction of community hall in Shivrinarayan on the demand of Satnami Samaj and for hostel building of Kenwat Nishad Samaj. Besides, Rs 10 lakhs was sanctioned to Satguru Seva Samiti Pamgarh for cultural building and stage construction.
MLA Pamgarh Smt. Indu Banjare, Chhattisgarh Tourism Board President Shri Atal Shrivastava and other public representatives and officials were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile, Shri Baghel also gave his nod for renaming Parshuram Chowk and beautification of the fair site by Guru Ghasidas Satganwa Mela Committee. Approval was given for the repair of the building and school of Yadav Samaj and construction of Muktidham for Sarathi Samaj. On the demand of Kurmi Samaj, he instructed the officers concerned to take necessary action to make Sardar Patel Chowk and upgrade Rahaud as a tehsil.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Konargarh village of Pamgarh Assembly Constituency on Wednesday during ‘Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan’. The Chief Minister prayed for the happiness, and prosperity of the state’s people by offering prayers to Jaitkham at village Mulmula. The Chief Minister lit a traditional lamp and garlanded the oil painting of Chhattisgarh Mahatari at the meeting site. He commenced the meeting by paying homage to former Lok Sabha MP Late Parasram Bhardwaj on his death anniversary.
He made various announcements on the demand of the villagers. He announced the construction of a CC road in the Konar village, a road from Konargarh to Kosa, a pond deepening at Konar, construction of community buildings in Pamgarh and Kosa. Similarly, to improve the education system, he announced the opening of a Hindi medium Atmanand School in Bhainso, construction of a Government Pre-Secondary School building at Mulmula, construction of a Government Primary School building in Kosa and a new Primary School at Hardipara of village Mehendi. The Chief Minister also approved the installation of a statue of Martyr Rudra Pratap Singh in honor of his martyrdom. Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agrawal was also present during the meeting.
The Chief Minister interacted with the villagers and took information regarding the implementation of various schemes including Gauthan, Godhan Nyay Yojana, school management, and the medical system.
In his interaction with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, a cattle herder Dileram Kashyap of village Kesla said "I have earned an additional income of Rs 90,000 so far by selling cow dung under the Godhan Nyay Yojana. Mr.Baghel congratulated Mr.Kashyap and asked him how he utilized this money. Mr.Kashyap replied that he has bought a cycle and used the said amount for his children's education and daily expenses.
Similarly, Mrs.Lalita Sidar, a resident of village Mulmula, expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister for organizing the 'Chhattisgarhiya Olympics'. She told the Chief Minister that she used to climb 'gedi' a lot in her childhood, today after 40 years, she took part and won the 'Gedi' competition. The Chief Minister congratulated him and also took information regarding the distribution of ration through the Public Distribution System.
Mitanin Mrs. Chitralekha told that every Tuesday team of the ‘Haat Bazaar Clinic’ Scheme visits her village. They provide treatment facilities and medicines free of cost.
Pratiksha Singh, a teacher of Mulmula School, told the Chief Minister that teaching the Chhattisgarhi language once a week in schools has increased the interest of the students in their studies. The need for teaching in the local language was already felt.
Chief Minister visits the Konargarh sub-health center
Chief Minister paid a visit to Konargarh sub-health center and took the information about OPDs, IPDs, and available medical services from the in-charge of the center Community Health Officer, Mr.Ghanshyam Prasad. He told Chief Minister Mr.Baghel that this health center was established in 2012-2013. There are 03 employees working in the hospital. The 2 bedded sub-health center has 12 types of healthcare facilities, 41 types of medicines, and 7 types of health check-up facilities available as of now. The hospital also has the facility of consultation with doctors of higher centers through telemedicine as per the requirement. The hospital also has a delivery room, women's ward, lab, pharmacy, OPD room, and counseling room for patients. About 15 to 20 institutional deliveries take place in the health center every month. The Chief Minister also interacted with the people who came for treatment and took the information about the facilities available in the center. He also planted a mango sapling on the health center premises.
School Children cuts the ribbon, and inaugurate the new school building
The Chief Minister inaugurated the Government Primary School Konargarh by allowing the school children to cut the ribbon. He asked the table of 12 from the children of class third, on reciting the table by students he encouraged them by clapping. He wished them all the best for their bright future. It is noteworthy that the construction of this school building has been done with the help of the District Mineral Trust fund.

Following the inauguration, Shri Baghel inspected the hospital and took stock of the facilities available here. He met the doctors and staff and directed them to provide better treatment to the patients. It was told that due to the space constraints in the previously operated hospital building, many facilities were not available to the patients.
The new building consists of a total of 25 rooms on the ground and first floor. There are good IPD, casualty, and institutional delivery facilities here. There are 5 OPD rooms, 2 doctor rooms, 1 labor room, 1 pre-labor room, an x-ray, digital x-ray, pathology, operation theatre, registration, and a waiting hall on the ground floor of the building. The first floor consists of 16-seater male ward, 18-seater female ward, 1 OT, 1 post-OT, 2 doctor changing rooms, 1 doctor room, and a nurse room.

Bhent-Mulaqat : At the Bhent-Mulaqat programme held in Konargarh, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid homage to late Shri Rudra Pratap Singh. He also honored his wife Mrs. Pratiksha Singh with a shawl and shriphal. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday met the family of young boy Rahul--who was rescued from a borewell after a massive operation of about 104 hours--at his home in village Pihrid of Janjgir-Champa district. Earlier, Shri Baghel also inspected the rescue operation site where a giant pit was dug to save the boy. MLA Ram Kumar Yadav was also present during the inspection.

Meanwhile, Rahul fell into an open 80-feet borewell on June 10. He was pulled to safety after the massive rescue operation that lasted for about 104 hours. National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), along with the Indian Army, district administration, SECL, and police personnel made untiring efforts for his rescue. He was rushed to Apollo Hospital in Bilaspur after he was safely evacuated from the borewell pit on June 15. Concerned over the boy’s rescue, Chief Minister was taking constant updates on the entire rescue operation.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday met the family of young boy Rahul--who was rescued from a borewell after a massive operation of about 104 hours--at his home in village Pihrid of Janjgir-Champa district. Earlier, Shri Baghel also inspected the rescue operation site where a giant pit was dug to save the boy. MLA Ram Kumar Yadav was also present during the inspection.

On a video call with Janjgir-Champa Collector, Chief Minister inquired about the progress of rescue operation and Rahul's health condition
Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today spoke to Janjgir-Champa Collector on a video call from Pathalgaon and took information about the progress of the rescue operation for Rahul Sahu. 11-year-old Rahul Sahu is trapped in 60-ft deep borewell in Pihrid village of Malkharoda block. Mr. Baghel asked the Collector about Rahul's health condition. Chief Minister also spoke to the family members of Rahul and consoled them. He asked Rahul's family to hold on to faith, patience and prayers, as the administration does its best to bring Rahul back home safe and sound.
Chief Minister spoke to Rahul's grandmother Shyam Bai Sahu, in presence of Rahul's uncle Bajrang Sahu. He told her that the administration is equipped with robots and other resources to rescue Rahul. Chief Minister also spoke to the robot operator Mahesh Ahir and Rahul's father.
Chief Minister also observed the ongoing excavation work at the borewell, through the video call. Robot operator Mahesh Ahir, who has come all the way from Amreli, Gujarat, updated Chief Minister about the relief and rescue work in progress. He told Chief Minister that he has conducted many demos and has the experience of three successful rescue operations. Chief Minister also observed the robot and its operation process, through the video call. Speaker of the Assembly Dr. Charandas Mahant and Minister-in-Charge Mr. Jai Singh Agrawal also inquired about the developments in the rescue process underway in Pihrid.

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel spoke to the family of 11-year-old boy who fell in an abandoned borewell in Janjgir, over a video call. He asked the boy’s family not to worry and assured all possible help saying that Rahul will be rescued safely.
Concerned over the boy’s rescue, Chief Minister is taking constant updates of the matter since last night. It is worth mentioning that people of entire state are praying for the safe rescue of the speech and hearing impaired child. Chief Minister has instructed the officials to make all possible efforts in this regard. Experts of Indian Army and team of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) are on the spot conducting rescue operations.
On the instructions of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, the entire administrative staff including the Collector and Superintendent of Police is present on the spot since last night. Meanwhile, the 11-year-old boy Rahul fell into an abandoned borewell at Pihrid Malkharoda village of Janjgir Champa district yesterday. Digging is still underway with 50 feet being excavated so far. A tunnel will be made to reach Rahul after 60 feet of digging. The rescue operation is being conducted at a rapid pace for the safe rescue of Rahul.
