Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel inaugurated the mobile public service vehicle
- Members of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club to provide their services in this vehicle

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today,has taken another citizen friendly initiative in the direction of public service through Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club in the Bhent Mulaqat program of Arjuni village in Dongargaon development block of Rajnandgaon district. A mobile public service vehicle will be run to provide health services to the villagers and common citizens. In this mobile unit, services like eye check-up and blood donation will be provided by the members of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club by organizing camps in the villages and other places. Under this, Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club has been provided with a mobile public service vehicle by the state government In which work will be done to collect blood for blood donation and eye check up camps will be organised. For eye examination, the vehicle has manual lens examination as well as state-of-the-art machines like autoref and slit lamp, which will also provide computerized eye checkup and internal eye examination. Along with this, Remi Company's blood storage is also available in the unit, in which blood will be collected after screening the blood donor and stored in this storage and then sent to the blood banks.

During his Bhent-Mulaqat visit today, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has sanctioned crores of rupees for the development of Dongargaon assembly constituency. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth Rs 80 crore 27 lakh for the assembly constituency at Circuit House Dongargaon. These include Bhoomi Pujan of 61 works worth Rs 74 crore 80 lakh 96 thousand and inauguration of 5 works worth Rs 5 crore 46 lakh 9 thousand. The development works for which bhoomi pujan was performed include 50 works worth Rs 40 crore 39 lakh 92 thousand under Jal Jeevan Mission of Public Health Engineering Division Rajnandgaon Department, one work worth Rs 15 lakh under Executive Engineer Rural Engineering Services Division Rajnandgaon Department, eight works worth Rs 2 crore under Executive Engineer Water Resources Division Rajnandgaon Department, one work worth Rs 18 crore 66 lakh 86 thousand under Executive Engineer Public Works Department, one work worth Rs 10 crore 60 lakh 20 thousand under Executive Engineer Public Works Department, one work worth 68 lakh 37 thousand under Executive Engineer Public Works Department, 3 works worth Rs 1 crore 3 lakh 64 thousand under the Chief Medical and Health Officer's Department and three works worth Rs 93 lakh 52 thousand under the Executive Engineer Project Implementation Unit Number-1 Rajnandgaon Department.
Likewise, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has inaugurated following works on the occasion- one development work of Rs. 2 crore 85 lakh 62 thousand under Executive Engineer, Water Resources Division, Rajnandgaon Department, one work worth Rs 75 lakh 23 thousand under Executive Engineer Public Works Department, one work worth Rs 73 lakh 73 thousand under Executive Engineer Public Works Department and works worth Rs 62 lakh under Chief Medical and Health Officer Department.
Vrindavan Gauthan transformed into a Rural Industrial Park
Suraaji Gaon Yojana has created various opportunities of economic empowerment for women
Women are producing Chhattisgarhi cuisine, puja items, mushrooms and various other items in Gauthans

Chhattisgarh Government’s Suraaji Gaon Yojana is creating a wide array of opportunities for economic empowerment in rural areas of the state. Members of Women Self-Help Groups in Vrindavan Gauthan of village Anjora, Rajnandgaon district have also turned their dream of economic empowerment and self-reliance through this scheme. Now, with the transformation of Vrindavan Gauthan into a rural industrial park spread over 26 acres of land, the efforts of women self-help groups have further gained momentum. A livelihood work shed has been constructed for women there. Efforts like these have made the women of the village financially independent. They are now confidently supporting their families from the profits earned from production of chhattisgarhi dishes, puja items, mushrooms etc.
With the help of district administration, this women self-help group has signed a contract with Ganesh Gulal Private Limited and has started manufacturing Gulal, Chandan, Kumkum, Agarbatti on a large scale. Here at Vrindavan Rural Industrial Park, women of the group are making Chhattisgarhi dishes such as Cheela, Bhajiya, Fara, Bada, Mungoda on order. Kitchen here has been adorned with artifacts reflecting Chhattisgarhi culture. They serve Kulhad tea and cold water from an earthen thermos to the visitors. They do manufacturing and packaging of Gopichandan and incense sticks for puja.
Lokeshwari Nirmalkar, a member of the group, told that working at the Gauthan turned Rural Industrial Park here has significantly improved the financial condition of her family. Now they don't have to wander for work. Gauthans have helped many women to create their own identity. Many of these women have stepped outside their home to work for the first time. Being financially self-dependent has boosted confidence of these women. Members of the self help group thanked Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel for Suraaji Gaon Yojana, Gauthans, Rural Industrial Parks and the plethora of benefits they have received from the implementation of this scheme. Megha Yadav said that working here has raised their standard of living, she has started depositing money in her bank account. Mrs. Shanti Sahu told that with her earnings from the Gauthan, she has managed to organize the wedding of her younger son and she could also take care of her household expenses.
At Vrindavan Gauthan, self help groups are conducting various economic activities including, papaya cultivation, fish farming and duck rearing, and nearly 55 quintals of vermi compost has been produced from the cow dung procured. Fruit trees of mango, guava, lemon, coconut, jackfruit, munga, cashew have also been planted on 10 and a half acres of land near Gauthan.
