Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid tribute to the tribal mass leader and freedom fighter Birsa Munda on his birth anniversary falls on November 15. The Chief Minister in his message said that Birsa Munda Ji fought for tribal community rights including Jal, Jungle, and Zamin (water, forest and land) and inspired them to fight for their rights too. He opposed the policies of the then British Empire and worked throughout his life for the socio-economic development of the tribals. He was truly a people's leader. The tribal community worships him like a god. His revolutionary thoughts and spirit of patriotism inspire people even today.
