65-year-old Mrs. Triveni Thakur from Singapore said that she was reminded of her childhood through Fugdi and Billas

Got their childhood games back through the efforts of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel

Because of the sports organized under Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s initiative of the Chhattisgarhiya Olympics, Mrs. Triveni Thakur of village Singapur was reminded of her childhood. She secured the first position in Fugdi and Billas from Panchayat to zone level and has now reached the district level.
Mrs. Thakur said that when she came to know that games like Fugdi and Billas are being played in the village, she was reminded of her childhood and came here to participate. She said that she didn’t expect to secure the first position. She has regained her enthusiasm through these old games. Seeing children, youngsters, senior people, and women play the games is adding vibrancy to the village. Everyone is displaying their talent in the Chhattisgarhiya Olympics. She expressed her gratitude to the Chief Minister Mr. Baghel for recreating her childhood days.
