Sarguja : Police on Friday arrested a 50-year-old man for killing his live-in partner two days ago in Ambikapur town in Surguja district.
Surguja Superintendent of Police Bhavana Gupta identified him as Kunjlal of Wadrafnagar.
He killed Savita Singh (35) on Wednesday and absconded. Both lived together in Gandhi Nagar. He was arrested from Balrampur district.
The killer told the police they had frequent fights over the woman talking on the phone. He strangled her to death after a heated argument.
