Pandaria and Ramhepur Cooperative Sugar Factory set a new national record in the sugarcane recovery rate

Sugarcane farmers will get an additional amount of Rs 53.83 crore due to a higher recovery rate
Two cooperative sugar factories operating in Chhattisgarh have created a new record in the recovery rate at the national level. The factories that made the record include Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory of Pandariya and Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory of Ramhepur in Kawardha. Both these cooperative sugar factories are established in the Kabirdham district of Chhattisgarh. It is worth mentioning that under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, many policies are being implemented by the state government for the development and prosperity of Chhattisgarh, due to which the state is continuously evolving in every field and making new records. Both these factories have left behind all the cooperative sugar factories in the country in terms of recovery. Due to higher recovery rate, 18 thousand 497 farmers of the district will get an additional amount of Rs 53.83 crore. With this, Rs 280.7 crore will be paid to the farmers in the financial year.
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Co-Operative Sugar Factory has retained its achievement by staying at number one in the whole country with a 13.12 percent recovery rate in the limited Pandriya peroi session 2021-22. With this, 7 thousand 279 farmers here will get the benefit of Rs 104.40 per quintal. Moreover, under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rs 79 per quintal will be paid to the farmers by the Chhattisgarh government. In this way, Rs 459 per quintal will be paid to the farmers in a financial year. In this way, an amount of Rs 135.5 crore will be paid to 7 thousand 279 farmers for the year 2021-22. In the last financial year, 29 lakh 5 thousand 338 metric tonnes of sugarcane was procured from the farmers.
Similarly, Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory Ramhepur Kawardhaperai has been second in the whole country with the highest recovery of 11.8 percent in the 2021-22 season. With this achievement, 11 thousand 218 farmers will get an additional benefit of Rs 66.70 per quintal. Along with this, under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, Rs 79 per quintal will be paid to the farmers by the Chhattisgarh government. In this way, Rs 421 per quintal will be paid to the farmers in the financial year. In this way, an amount of Rs 145.2 crore will be paid to 11 thousand 218 farmers in the year 2021-22. In the financial year, 34 lakh 5 thousand 3 metric tonnes of sugarcane has been procured from the farmers.
District Collector and President Sugar Factory Mr. Ramesh Kumar Sharma informed that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Co-operative Sugar Factory Limited has given the maximum recovery in the financial year, which is a record in the history of Chhattisgarh. Due to this, the local sugarcane farmers have got the highest rate in the whole country. On the other hand, Bhoramdev Co-operative Sugar Factory, in Ramhepur Kawardha has been successful in achieving the highest recovery rate of 11.8 percent in the last 19 years, which is second in the country. He said that 18 thousand 497 farmers associated with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory, Pandariya and Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory of Ramhepur Kawardha would be paid Rs 280.7 crore this year. These farmers will get an additional amount of Rs 53.83 crore at the recovery rate. Also, farmers will get a benefit of Rs 50.58 crore under the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana.
The Managing Director of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Cooperative Sugar Factory, Maryadit Pandariya, Mr. Satish Kumar Patle informed that 13.12 percent recovery has been achieved in the crushing season of 2021-22, which is 36 points more than 9.50 percent. In this way, farmers will get an additional amount of Rs 36×2.90=104.4 per quintal. With this, farmers will get a recovery amount of Rs 30.83 crore.
Bhupendra Kumar Thakur, managing director of Bhoramdev Cooperative Sugar Factory, Ramhepur Kawardha, informed that 11.8 percent recovery has been achieved in the crushing season 2021-22, which is 23 points more than 9.50 percent. In this way, farmers will get an additional amount of 23×2.90=66.70 per quintal. With this, farmers will get a recovery amount of Rs 23 crore.

The rate of sugarcane is fixed from the FRP, with a minimum recovery of 9.50 percent or less, at Rs 275.50 per quintal. For more than 9.50 percent recovery, it increases by Rs. 2.90 per quintal per 0.1 percent.
