Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday reached Bhanwarpur village of Saraipali assembly constituency under Mahasamund district as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. On the demand of public representatives and villagers, the Chief Minister made several announcements which includes upgrading Gram Panchayat Bhanwarpur to a Nagar Panchayat, upgrading Bhanwarpur to a sub-tehsil, opening a branch of a nationalized bank in Bhanwarpur, upgrading police post Bhanwarpur to a police station, to open a college, a Swami Atmanand English medium school, an open gym in Bhanwarpur. He also assured of speedy completion of the road construction from Bhanwarpur to Saraipali. The communities present during the Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan welcomed the Chief Minister's announcements with enthusiasm and expressed gratitude to him.

While addressing the crowd at the Jan Chaupal, he took information from the representatives of all communities regarding their social activities and took direct feedback on the implementation of government schemes and programmes. He urged to take maximum advantage of the schemes implemented for health and education. He commenced his programme by garlanding the portrait of 'Chhattisgarh Mahtari' and lighting the lamp.

Raghunath's loan of Rs 3 lakh waived off, bought a tractor from farm income


During the Jan Chaupal, Potapara's farmer Raghunath told the Chief Minister that his loan of Rs 3 lakh has been waived off. With the income from farming, he installed a pump in the field and also bought a tractor. Umang Sao of Ara-Pathra village sought help from the Chief Minister for the treatment of stomach ailment, on which the Chief Minister assured him to give Rs. 2 lakh. Rohit Dadsena of Sakri village told that he has earned Rs 02 lakh 32 thousand by selling a total of 1160 quintal cow dung. Dayanidhi Nayak, a member of Yuva Mitan Club, told the Chief Minister that there are 42 members in the club, and sports, cleanliness, and many other activities are being conducted by the club. Hem Bai Patel, a beneficiary of the Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana, told that she is a patient of BP and taking treatment free of cost through the scheme.

Shed to be built for mushroom production and poultry farming in Gauthan

In the Jan Chaupal, Rekha Lahre told the Chief Minister that her group has earned Rs. 1 lakh 5 thousand from vermicompost manufacturing. Rekha demanded a shed each for mushroom and poultry farming,  and wire fencing around the Gauthan. Chief Minister gave instructions to the collector regarding the demands made by Rekha. Puja, a student of Basna's Swami Atmanand School, told the Chief Minister that Swami Atmanand School provides free as well as high-quality education. The Chief Minister said that 400 more Swami Atmanand schools would be opened next year. Lakshya Banjare, a young student of Class I told the Chief Minister the names of 33 districts of Chhattisgarh, on which Chief Minister Mr. Baghel praised Lakshya.

Chief Minister distributed cycles to girl students of Swami Atmanand School

Under the ‘Saraswati Cycle Yojana’, the Chief Minister distributed cycles to the girl students of Swami Atmanand School of Basna. As part of the Saraswati Cycle Yojana, free cycles were given to class IX students Tejaswani Sao, Ankita Pradhan, Shivani Sahu, Mandakini Pandey, and Shraddha Pradhan.

Chief Minister distributed lentil seed mini kit to the beneficiaries

Lentil seed mini kit was distributed to Yudhishthir Patel, Santosh Nayak, Ratan Sidar, Jagdish Patel of Gram Panchayat Bhanwarpur, and Pritam Singh Sidar of Gram Panchayat Kudela. Farmers are being encouraged to cultivate pulses and oilseeds. In this sequence, Lentil Seed Mini Kit was distributed.

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel distributed motorized tricycles to Pramila Bhoi of Pipli Pali village and Ashok of Kashi Pali village hailing from the Saraipali assembly constituency. Pramila Bhoi, a B.Sc. second-year student said that she used to face a lot of difficulties while going to school and college. Getting a motorized tricycle will make her travel easier and she will be able to focus well on her studies. Pramila expressed her gratitude for this ambitious scheme of the government saying that she is extremely happy after receiving the motorized tricycle.
