Jashpurnagar: special camp organized in Kansabel to provide unique identity cards to Divyangjans.

To facilitate card distribution among Divyangjans, special Camps are being organized by the Social Welfare Department in all district panchayat headquarters to issue special identity cards to the Divyangjans of the district. Today, a camp was organized in Kansabel development block where Cards and materials were distributed to the beneficiaries. On this occasion, officials of Social Welfare Department, Health Department, other public representatives and villagers were present.
According to the information received from the Social Welfare Department, a total of 111 people were registered and cards have been distributed to 79 people. Crutches have been distributed to 6 people, while giving information in this regard, the Social Welfare Department has informed that weekly camps will be organized on every Saturday in the health centers located at all district panchayat headquarters of the district for gram panchayat-wise physical check-up and registration of the remaining Divyangjans in the UDID portal. Officials informed that this weekly camp, which will be organized on every Saturday in the district, will continue continuously till 100 percent registration for UDID of all Divyangjans residing in all Gram Panchayats is completed.
