Under the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana started by the Chhattisgarh Government, people in urban areas are being provided official services at home. Under the scheme, about 47400 people have booked appointments to obtain official documents at their homes so far. More than 37700 citizens have received important official documents at their doorsteps. So far, more than about 96000 citizens have called the Mitan Yojana’s toll-free number 14545, and obtained information on receiving relevant official documents. Under the directions of the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and the Urban Administration Development Department, the Mukhyamantri Mitan Yojana was started on 01 May 2022 to provide a home-delivery service of important official documents for the state’s citizens. 

Services under the Mitan Yojana include the home delivery of official documents like birth certificates, correction in the birth certificate, death certificates, correction in the death certificate, domicile certificates, marriage registration certificates, income certificates, OBC certificates, SC/ST certificates, shop and establishment registration certificates, land record copy, land notification (land use), Aadhar card registration, correction in the address and mobile number in Aadhar card for children up to 5 years of age, application for PAN number, PAN update, and duplicates. This service has helped people save labor, time, and money and they no longer have to visit Government offices again and again. The Mitan Yojana in Chhattisgarh has helped in extending facilities to citizens. The state residents are receiving official services at their doorsteps with the help of Mitan.
