Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel on Thursday reached Dadhi village of Nawagarh assembly constituency under the Bemetara district as a part of his mammoth public interaction drive 'Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan'. Addressing the people present in Dadhi village, he said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh are buying agricultural land, investing in agriculture, and building the future of their children. Earlier farmers used to go to the moneylender's house, but now their money remains deposited in the bank. The money being given to the farmers through schemes is coming into the banking system, which will speed up development, this is a big change to bring prosperity to the farmers.

Chief Minister said, "Our state is a rice bowl, yet because of local circumstances, many people had to quit agriculture. Today, though, it appears that the situation has changed. Now farmers are happy in Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, speaking at Bhent-Mulaqat, said that he came to the Nawagarh assembly constituency in Dadhi to take feedback and know about the ground reality of the schemes being implemented by the state government. He is accompanied by officials of the Mantralay and members of the assembly constituency. He further said that the purpose of this program is to directly interact with local people.

While discussing loan waiver and paddy procurement, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that the fourth installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana will be released on March 31. Even after the COVID crisis, the state government continued to implement various public welfare schemes. The installments were released despite the challenging circumstances. He further said, "This is a beautiful time in Bemetara, crops of papaya, sugarcane, and banana are flourishing. I noticed no hay burning anywhere in Nawagarh. I appreciate you abiding by my request to stop the burning of hay and to donate it to gauthans". He said that the farmers of Chhattisgarh are happy, they are investing in agriculture, fulfilling their needs and so, progress and prosperity are on the rise.

Chief Minister has made various announcement for the Dadhi village which includes giving the full tehsil status to village Dadhi, opening of a Swami Atmanand English medium school, construction of a CC road from Sahda Dev Chowk to the main entrance of the village, a Community hall to be constructed in Dadhi, construction of road from Semaria to Sendri via Bhainsbod, renovation of Raja Bada, opening of a District Cooperative Bank branch in village Pratappur, a new high school for Chargawan and a new building for primary school at Tarke.

Gauthan committee maintains Gauthan with its own funds

 

Prabhuram, the President of the Damedih Gauthan Committee, said that their committee has received Rs. 6 lakhs. The money is being used for the maintenance of Gauthans. The Chief Minister said that India's socialist leaders always believed policies could not be made while sitting in air-conditioned rooms. The state government is creating schemes in the village and utilizing the money for the village. Prabhuram further said that they had always dreamed of this day. Even ancestors had this dream. Mahatma Gandhi had the same dream. Today, this dream is coming true. The state government under the able leadership of CM Mr.Bhupesh Baghel is using the village’s money for the development of the village.

Persons authorized by Divyangjan can also take ration from the ration shop

A beneficiary raised the issue of differently-abled people going to the ration shop to obtain rations, to which the Chief Minister responded that orders have been issued that in such a circumstance, authorized persons can also take rations according to rules if reaching the shop is a major challenge.

Gend Singh's loan of Rs 90,000 waived off

Verma said that he owns 4.5 acres of land. His debt worth Rs. 90,000 has been waived off. He has used the money for borewell mining. He has also done wire fencing to obtain the Rabi harvest. While interacting with the Chief Minister, Mr. Indru Sahu told that his loan of Rs.1 lakh has been waived off under the loan waiver scheme, he has also sold paddy, and the money has been credited into his account. Hearing this, the Chief Minister asked - what did he take for his wife, in reply Mr. Indru told that he has bought Kardhan for his wife and two daughters-in-law. A beneficiary of Rajiv Gandhi Kissan Nyay Yojana, Anita Sahu, said to the Chief Minister that she is educating her children with the help of the money she obtained from the scheme. The Chief Minister, while praising her, said that she has given the right direction to secure the future of her children.

People praised the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana

During the Jan Chaupal, Neelam Sahu, a resident of village Dadhi, said that they have 4 members in the family and they get 40 kg of rice, and two kg of salt free of cost. They have to pay only for the sugar i.e. Rs 17. While interacting with the Chief Minister, Ashish Sinha praised Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. He urged to further increase the amount provided under the scheme. Chief Minister replied with a smile on his face and said that Rahul ji had also come and said the same thing. The amount was increased at that time.Chief Minister replied that the price of gas is fixed by the Central Government.

Godhan Nyay Yojana enabled Dulapa to bear her family's expenses

During the Jan Chaupal, when the Chief Minister asked about the Godhan Nyay Yojana, Dulapa Yadav said that she had sold 500 quintals of cow dung. She has received Rs.50,000, and she will soon receive another Rs.50,000. Furthermore, she does not own any farmland. however, she is able to run the house with the money she earns through  Godhan  Nyay Yojana. While interacting with the Chief Minister Mrs. Leela Sahu said that her group was formed in 2020 and they have earned Rs.2 lakh 82 thousand by selling vermicompost. They are also carrying out works related to Kodo. The Chief Minister praised them after hearing this.

Next installment under Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Yojana to be released on January 12

During the Jan Chaupal, Panna Lal, a member of Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club Umaria told the Chief Minister about the activities of the club and said that earlier there was no such wonderful scheme. They had organized Ramayana with this amount. Talking about the 'Chhattisgarhiya Olympics', Radhika said that after so many years she played traditional sports like fugdi. Her kids also played and they all enjoyed it a lot. Pradeep Pathak said that they had organized the competition in the village. On this, the Chief Minister said that the next installment will be distributed to the Rajiv Yuva Mitan Club on January 12.
