At the Bhent-Mulaqat programme organized at village Pipariya of Pali Tanakhar Assembly in Korba district, Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today made several important announcements for the development of the area. He announced opening of a branch of District Cooperative Central Bank in Pasan, establishment of 36 KV in Moraga power sub-station, setting up of rescue center for elephant-affected areas in Korbi and Ghuchapur, construction of bridge in Kapubhara and Tulbul (Karri), implementation of Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Yojana in village Pipariya. Besides, he also announced construction of a total of 25 Devgudis including the one in Pipariya, construction of shed in the main Haat-Bazaar of Pipariya, provision of drinking water in Gram Panchayat Arsia, construction of Mangal Bhawan in Nagar Panchayat Pali, opening of new boys hostel in village Pipariya and construction of road from Amjhar to Jorundha to border. On this occasion, District In-charge Minister and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam and Lok Sabha MP Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant were also present.

In his address to the villagers in Bhent-Mulaqat programme, Chief Minister said that the state government is trying to bring changes in the lives of common people and boost their income through the schemes. Regarding the procurement of paddy at Rs 2,500 a quintal, Mr. Baghel said that the central government had said that if you pay even one rupee more than the support price for paddy, we will not procure paddy from the state. To resolve the problem, the state government started Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana in the interest of farmers and provided them an input subsidy of Rs 10,000 per acre in the first year and Rs 9,000 per acre this year. Summing up the support price and input subsidy, the farmers are being provided a price of Rs 2500 per quintal of paddy.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel asked the villagers about loan waiver, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, paddy procurement on support price and checked if they are receiving the benefits. Meanwhile, a farmer told that for the first time he has taken paddy tokens and for the very first time he is going to sell paddy at the procurement center. He thanked State Government for making the process so easy. Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel announced sanction of Rs one lakh to Chhatram Patel for pursuing PhD. Chief Minister said that the purpose of Bhent-Mulaqat is to learn about whether the people are receiving the benefits of government schemes or not, to address any shortcomings and rectify it at the earliest. He said that as soon as our government was formed, farmers' loans were waived within two hours.

At the Bhent-Mulaqat programme, Chandrakala Porte told Chief Minister that rice, sugar and salt are being regularly made available to the beneficiaries on the ration card. Gas cylinders and kerosene are very expensive. Nirmala Kujur told Chief Minister that she has been issued the ration card, on which she regularly received rice, sugar and salt. Due to the high cost of gas cylinders, they cook food using wood.

Rs 50 thousand sanctioned to Anita for B.Ed, Rs. 01 lakh to Chhatram for PhD

At the Bhent-Mulaqat programme held today, the young athlete conveyed the training related problem to Chief Minister. Resolving which, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel announced to give him admission in the hostel. Anita Raj told that she is a part of 12-member women's group and she is also studying. She is doing private B.Ed. Fertilizer worth 2 lakh 70 thousand has been sold in last three years.  However, there is no college in the area and she has to travel afar to pursue higher education. She requested Chief Minister to open a college neaby. Chief Minister announced financial aid of Rs 50,000. for Anita's education, and also sanctioned Rs one lakh to Chhatram Patel for pursuing PhD. Sangeeta Sahu told that she collects tendupatta, and she started after government the of renumeration for this work. She thanked Chief Minister for the scheme of insurance of the tendupatta labourers.

Tejkunwar sold cow dung worth Rs 40,000

Tejkunwar told that he has sold cow dung worth 40 thousand. Earlier he used to throw away cow dung, now he earns money by selling it in Gothan. This money is contributing towards his family income. He told that he has used the money he earned by selling dung for organizing his child's wedding ceremony. He said that he has earned one lakh rupees by making fertilizers. Harnam Singh Markam told that he has got a lease of one acre of land. He is taking care of his family by practicing farming on this land. He described the Vanadhikar Patta Yojana as a commendable scheme. While talking to the Chief Minister, Jagatpal Singh told that he has got the lease of 1.5 acres of land, on which he practices farming and are also getting the benefits of various government schemes. Prem Singh told that his forest rights lease has been issued.

Anita Armo earned Rs 1.82 lakh by selling Kodo

Anita Armae, a member of the group that procures minor forest produce, told that they are buying kodo, ragi, tamarind at present. They procure Kodo at Rs 30, and Ragi for Rs 31 a kg. An income of Rs one lakh 82 thousand has been generated from Kodo procurement. Farmer Mahesh Kumar told that he has sold paddy for the first time, and has received three installments. He has bought 1.5 acres of land. Suryansh Gupta, a student of Swami Atmanand English Medium School, Pasan told that his school has classes up to 9th standard.
