The state government is making consistent efforts to strengthen the economic condition of the needy people and families of the state by benefiting them through various schemes. Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyaya Yojana is being run by the state government for providing financial assistance to landless agricultural laborers and people associated with pauni-pasari occupations among other beneficiaries.

Under the scheme, work is being done in the district to identify the eligible beneficiaries and give them the benefits of the scheme so that they get the necessary financial assistance. A beneficiary Rekhalal, father Sadashiv age 70 years resident of Dhobnikala of Nawagarh Janpad Panchayat, said that the scheme is lending a helping hand to economically weaker families. My family does not have any agricultural land of its own and our financial condition is not so good. I earn a livelihood doing labour work on daily wages. 

Heaping praise on the scheme started by the state government, Rekhalal said this is a commendable initiative for the landless laborer families. Today, a meaningful scheme has been started to financially empower families who do not have any additional source of income other than wages. This is definitely going to be a huge success. 

He added that their festivals have become more colorful and happier with the government transferring the scheme amount ahead of festivals like Diwali and Holi. He said that the financial condition of his family has improved and they are living a better life than before. Today, I am not forced to ask for money from anyone. 

The nodal officer of the Rajiv Gandhi Bhoomiheen Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana of Nawagarh Janpad Panchayat office said that the state government has been providing continuous benefits to the common citizens through public welfare schemes from the beginning. Under the scheme, annual financial assistance of Rs 7,000 is being provided to the beneficiaries.
