Mahasamund: Public Relations Department Exhibition at Sirpur Festival

On the occasion of Magh Purnima in the well-known historical place Sirpur, the Public Relations Department in Sirpur arranged a picture development exhibition based on the achievements of the Chhattisgarh government's four-year tenure on the three-day Sirpur Festival. This free three-day show is set up in front of the major cultural stage. Tourists attending the festival are making their way to see the exhibition. At the show site, free publicity materials and Chhattisgarh Janman, the Public Relations Department's monthly magazine, are also available. The show is accessible to the public from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.

Meanwhile, giving information, Mr. Shashiratna Parashar, District Public Relations Officer, stated that tourists and spectators attending Sirpur Mahotsav are learning about government programmes. The exhibition piqued the interest of officers-employees and students preparing for competitive tests. They like the exhibition for being informative and providing information about government programmes in one location. The government's free books and pamphlets based on beneficiary-oriented schemes and public welfare schemes are also considered highly valuable.

State government schemes are exhibited on a large LED screen. Visitors to the festival, particularly young people, are photographing themselves and their companions in front of the screen and exhibition. Women and Child Development, Health, Public Health Engineering, District Legal, Tribal Welfare, Tourism, Agriculture, Forest Department, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, Social Welfare, and other departments have set up exhibition stalls in the festival to inform people about departmental and government schemes. Providing information on accomplishments.

In addition, various schemes of the state government - Mukhyamantri Kisan Nyay Yojana, Shri Dhanwantri Medical, Godhan Nyay Yojana, Forest Produce, Ram Van Gaman Path, Chhattisgarh Model, Folk Traditions and Detailed information about the culture, Nyay Yojana, etc. - have been displayed in simple language with figures and colourful photographs. At the exhibition site, free publicity materials are also distributed. The show is open to the public for free.
