26th All India Forest Sports Meet to be held in Panchkula from March 10 to 14

209 players from Chhattisgarh will participate in the sports meet

Forest Minister Mr. Akbar encourages the players by distributing kits

The 26th All India Forest Sports Meet will be held in Panchkula of Haryana state from March 10 to 14, 2023. A team of 209 players from Chhattisgarh will participate in the event. Players from Chhattisgarh will leave for Panchkula on March 7 to participate in the games like badminton, cricket, athletics, basketball, football, swimming, tennis, etc.

Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar distributed kits and wished the players for participating in the competition. He also encouraged them to perform well. During this, PCCF Mr. Sanjay Shukla, MD Federation Mr. Anil Rai, Additional Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Nodal Officer Mr. Sunil Mishra, Deputy Conservator of Forests Mr. Alok Tiwari and other officers-employees were present.

It may be noted that the All India Forest Sports Meet was started from the year 1992. Since the formation of Chhattisgarh state, the All India Forest Sports Meet has been organized 19 times. Since 2007, the Chhattisgarh team has been in first place for 10 consecutive times and in second place for 3 times.
