'Radio Sangwari' is based on 'Hamar Bhakha Hamar Geet'

Through this newly-launched radio station, Chhattisgarh's art and culture will be widely publicized

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel launched Chhattisgarh's first digital radio station 'Radio Sangwari' in a program organized at his residence office today. On this occasion, he congratulated the entire team including the founder and director of Radio Sangwari, describing it as a better effort in the direction of widely promoting the art and culture of Chhattisgarh.

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said in his address to the programme that Radio Sangwari will play an important role in taking the Chhattisgarhi folk art, folk culture and song-music to the common people through digital radio station. I have been told that through the Radio Sangwari app, the art and culture of Chhattisgarh will be taken to the people across the whole world, certainly it is a very commendable effort, said Mr. Baghel.

 Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that this platform has the potential to become a powerful medium for reviving the vanishing cultural genres and traditional art forms of Chhattisgarh. This would also serve as a platform for promoting the talents of the new artists of the state. There is no dearth of radio listeners even today. Many radio stations have gained popularity because of their innovations and out of the box vision. I hope that the digital radio station being launched as Radio Sangwari will also gain recognition and popularity as a powerful medium.

On this occasion, the founder of Radio Sangwari Mr. Rahul Sharma and co-founder Dr. Hemant Sirmaur told that Radio Sangwari can be listened comfortably even on 2G internet speed. Program director Mr. Manish Baghel told in the program that the app can be downloaded by typing "Radio Sangwari" on the search tab of Google Play Store. On this occasion Ms. RJ Shreya, Mr. Jagmeet Singh, Mr. Anuj Sharma and all the members of Radio Sangwari were present.
