Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has extended greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Mahavir Swami, the 24th Tirthankar of Jainism which falls on April 4. He said that Mahavir Swami gave the message of truth, non-violence, love, and compassion to society. Mahavir Swami emphasized on 'internal purity' along with 'external cleanliness'. Mahavir Swami described non-violence as the paramount principle for all religions and taught people to 'live and let live'. Mahavir ji principles and teachings are ever relevant. Everyone can have a happy society by following the path shown by Mahavir Swami ji and serving the poor.
