Municipal Corporation will establish a BPO Centre of 500 seat capacity at a cost of Rs 10 crore

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel will perform Bhumipujan for a BPO center in Raipur city on April 17. This BPO center of 500-seat capacity will be opened on the fifth floor of the multilevel parking in front of the Collectorate at a cost of about Rs 10 crore. As per the vision of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, this BPO center is being established with the aim of provide employment opportunities to the youth of Raipur. This BPO will help the youth to join outsourcing business like call center customer support, sales and marketing, data entry, technical support, chat support, bank and front office work, social media handling, data analysis.

In this era of information revolution, BPOs with ultramodern facilities are required in Raipur, as it provides youth the opportunity to enhance their skills by connecting with the whole world. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for such BPO based hi-tech call centers was being felt in the city to deliver messages to every household. Due to non-availability of such call centers in Raipur, the youth here had to go to other metro cities like Indore, Bangalore and look for employment opportunities. Now with the opening of BPO center in Raipur, local youth will get to participate in the development, they will have the opportunity to connect with reputed companies and commercial service institutions of India and abroad through the center. Besides, this would also help the youth to enhance their communication skills. Association with various companies and deployment of new technologies will open new avenues of development for youth of the state.
