Chief Minister announced the opening of a new college in Rampur and Umreli ; Swami Atmanand English Medium School in Barpali

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel unveiled numerous developmental projects during the Bhent Mulakat program held in the Rampur Assembly Constituency

Mr. Baghel inaugurated and carried out Bhoomipujan of various developmental works worth more than Rs. 71 crores

 Chief Minister announced the opening of a new college in Rampur and Umreli

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel dedicated a slew of  developmental projects during his 'Bhent Mulakat Abhiyan' program organised in Chirra village in Korba district’s Rampur Assembly Constituency. He announced the opening of a new College in Rampur and Umreli. Mr. Baghel  inaugurated and carried out Bhoomipujan of 65 developmental works worth Rs. 71 crore 23 lakh. They include the inauguration of 33 developmental works worth Rs. 44 crore 33 lakh and the Bhoomipujan and foundation stone laying of 32 developmental works worth more than Rs. 26 crore 90 lakh

The program provided an opportunity for the Chief Minister to connect with the people and gather valuable feedback on the implementation of various welfare schemes by the state government. While speaking to the Chief Minister, Mejna Rathia said that he owns 26 acres of land, and a loan of Rs 2.64 lakh was waived off under the loan waiver scheme. Mejna shared that he has received payment for his paddy crop and praised the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan NYAY Yojana, describing it as excellent. "With this money, I have purchased land, made arrangements for my daughter's marriage, spent some on the education of children, and even bought jewelry for my wife," he added.

Beneficiaries of 'Godhan NYAY Yojana' interacted with the Chief Minister and Lalita Rathiya revealed that her group has earned Rs.6 lakhs by selling cow dung and vermicompost, and Rs.10 lakhs by selling earthworms. She happily shared her experience of being recognised by the Governor for earthworm production in the state. Ravindra stated that he has received an incentive of Rs 25 thousand for the collection of minor forest produce which has helped him in managing household expenses.

Janhavi, a student of Swami Atmanand School in Kartala, said that she is in the tenth grade. She shared that the scheme has relieved her family from the burden of fees. She expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister, saying, "All of this has been made possible because of you. I am also able to showcase my skills in sports". Earlier, she had to pay a hefty fee of Rs 24,000. Her goal is to become a teacher. She received best wishes from the Chief Minister. Atul, a student of Swami Atmanand School, said that he is in the seventh grade. He appreciated Chief Minister for Swami Atmanand School and shared that he feels good about going to Atmanand School. Arun Kanwar shared his experiences of participating in the Chhattisgarhiya Olympics and said that he enjoyed it a lot. He further said that he has passed ITI recently and continuing his studies further. He expressed his concern about a job to which Chief Minister replied, "RIPA will provide a job to you and you should also apply for Unemployment Allowances."

A ration card holder, Asha, said that she is obtaining 35 kg of rice, sugar, salt, and grams and she doesn't have to pay for salt and rice. She shared her concern about an expensive Gas cylinder and said that she has booked a gas cylinder in four-five months once. The Chief Minister replied that the rates of diesel, petrol, and gas are decided by the Centre. Jayanti Rathia said that her family's ration card is in her mother-in-law's name and asked whether a ration card in her name can be issued, to which the  Chief Minister replied that only one ration card is issued for a family.

Important announcements made by the Chief Minister:

The Chief Minister announced the various development works in the Rampur Assembly Constituency, which include the construction of a road from Kudmura to Shyang, a paddy procurement center in both Chirra and Kudmura, construction of a Muktidham in Chirra, upgradation of Tarda, Kevaradwari, and Chirra village high schools to higher secondary schools, construction of a new building for a higher secondary school in village Kanki and for a high school in village Kudurmal. He also approved the construction of 25 Devgudis in the Rampur Assembly Constituency with a provision of Rs.5 lakh each. He also announced the development of Kankeshwar Mahadev Temple as a tourist destination. He announced the opening of the District Co-operative Bank branch in village Kartla and the construction of a building for SHG's training purposes in Chirra village.

Assembly Speaker Mr. Charandas Mahant, Education Minister and Minister in Charge of the Korba district Mr. Premsai Singh Tekam, Revenue Minister Mr. Jaisingh Agarwal, Member of Parliament Mrs. Jyotsna Mahant, and other public representatives were present.
