The Raigarh administration is gearing up for the rapid-paced preparations to host the 'Rashtriya Ramayan Mahotsav' (National Ramayan Festival) starting from June 1. Cambodia and Indonesia have given their approval to participate in the event. International artists from the Manas Mandali group will showcase their talent and present unique perspectives on the Ramayan. Renowned artists from Manas Mandali, hailing from different states of India, will enthrall audiences with their captivating performances. The organizers have planned special programs revolving around the enchanting themes of the 'Aranya Kand'. Additionally, collective chanting of Hanuman Chalisa and Kelo Maha-aarti will be organized daily throughout the three-day event.

The National Ramayana Festival will serve as a great confluence of Chhattisgarh's art and culture. Raigarh Collector Mr. Taran Prakash Sinha is consistently keeping up with the updates from the officials involved in the preparations. He recently conducted a thorough review of the preparations and provided necessary directions to the officers. The event will commence on June 1 with a marching procession of the participants. The performance by the Ramayana Mandali will start at 3 p.m. In the evening, famous singers Shanmukh Priya and Sharad Sharma, known from Indian Idol, will take the stage.

On the second day, June 2, the Ramayana Mandali will perform at 3 p.m. In the evening, renowned singers Baba Hansraj Raghuvanshi and Lakhbir Singh Lakha will present their musical performances. On June 3, the event will begin at 3 p.m. with performances by various Mandalis. Kelo Mahaarti and Deepdan will take place at 6 p.m. Following that, famous bhajan singer Maithili Thakur and popular poet Kumar Vishwas will present their renditions of the story of Lord Shri Ram.
