The School Education Department of the Chhattisgarh Government has issued an order from the Ministry in compliance with Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel’s instructions to extend summer vacations to protect schoolchildren from the intense heat and heat waves. The summer vacation has been extended from 16 June to 25 June. Schools will commence on 26 June.

 According to the order issued by the School Education Department, given the intense heat and heat wave prevalent in the state, the state government has extended summer vacation from 16 June 2023 to 25 June 2023. Schools in the state will reopen on 26 June 2023.
