Financial Aid of Rs. 20,000 provided to each of the 2714 labour families' daughters in Mahasamund District

Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel has initiated the Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana, aiming to enhance the quality of life of labour families in the state. In the Mahasanmud district, a sum of Rs 5.42 crore has been disbursed into the bank accounts of 2,714 beneficiaries registered under the scheme. Each beneficiary (the daughter of a labourer) has received Rs. 20,000, which empowers them and fosters self-reliance.

Mr. Neelkanth Sahu, the father of Ms.Vikeshwari Sahu and Ms.Monika Sahu, hailing from Bhorig in the Mahasamund district, expressed his gratitude for the funds received by his daughters into their bank accounts. He will use the amount for his two daughters' college education. The elder daughter is currently pursuing a B.A., and the younger daughter has recently completed her 12th grade and has enrolled in college. The family is elated with the government's initiative and has extended their gratitude to the state government for implementing such a beneficial scheme.

Eligibility Criteria for Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana

The Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana offers dual benefits, both financial and social, to its beneficiaries. Apart from aiding education, employment, and self-employment, the scheme also provides substantial assistance for the marriage of daughters from labour families. Only workers registered with the Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board are eligible for this scheme. Interested individuals must register online on the official website of the Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana, www.cglabour.nic.in, to take advantage of this scheme. Under this initiative, labourer families receive financial aid of Rs. 20,000 for the first two daughters, who are unmarried and aged between 18 and 21 years old.

Objectives of the Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana

The Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana aims to address the economic and social vulnerabilities faced by labourer families. Often, the children, especially the daughters, are forced to discontinue their education due to these circumstances, leaving them susceptible to exploitation. To empower and financially support the daughters of labourer families for their education, employment, self-employment, and marriage, the state government has implemented the Mukhyamantri Noni Sashaktikaran Sahayata Yojana. Under this scheme, the first two daughters of eligible labourer families receive financial aid of Rs. 20,000 each in their bank accounts, promoting self-reliance and empowerment.
