Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel participated in the program organized on the occasion of Teeja Pora Tihar and the state-level women's conference at his residence today. A large number of women visited the Chief Minister's residence to celebrate this traditional festival of Chhattisgarh with great enthusiasm. The women felt delighted at being showered with love and affection reminiscent of their "Mayka" (mother's house). Chief Minister Mr. Baghel, while interacting with the women on this occasion, said that Teeja-Pora is an important traditional festival of Chhattisgarh that symbolises the happiness of mothers and sisters. 

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, along with his wife Mrs. Mukteshwari Baghel and his family members, participated in the program. The Food and Culture Minister Mr. Amarjeet Bhagat and the Chairman of the State Mineral Development Corporation Mr. Girish Dewangan were also present on this occasion.

While mentioning the schemes run by the state government in Chhattisgarh under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Baghel in the interest of women, the beneficiaries Mrs. Sarita Sahu, Mrs. Jyoti Mithlesh, Mrs. Shanti Chandra, Mrs. Rekha Sahu, Mrs. Jayanti, and Mrs. Urvashi Verma, etc., shared their experiences. They also expressed their gratitude towards the Chief Minister. 

While addressing the program, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel said that women occupy a crucial place in society. In Chhattisgarh, we have been continuously working to enhance the dignity and status of women since the beginning. Every possible initiative is being taken to make women economically and socially prosperous. To achieve this goal, many new schemes and programs are being implemented effectively. 

Chief Minister Mr. Baghel further said that, as a result of the work being done in the interest of women in Chhattisgarh, a lot of change in their situation can be seen today. They are progressing rapidly in the state, not only economically but also socially. He said that a large number of women are engaged in economic activities in the Gauthans constructed under the Godhan NYAY Yojana in the state. Similarly, through schemes like forest produce collection, BIHAN, etc., resources for income and employment have become easily available to them.

Currently, lakhs of women in the state are getting direct benefits from it. He mentioned in detail the schemes run in public interest, including Mukhyamantri Suposhan Yojana, Swami Atmanand School, Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Yojana, etc.
