Rajnandgaon : Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, the dreams of many individuals to own a permanent house are turning into reality, sparking a wave of happiness among those aspiring for a home of their own. The desire to have a permanent residence for a joyous life with their families is a shared dream for many. One such story comes from Shri Shishupal Mandavi, a resident of Arsitola village in the Dongargaon development block. Faced with challenging financial circumstances, Shri Shishupal Mandavi struggled to transform his 'kutcha' house into a 'pucca' one. Juggling the responsibility of supporting his entire family, he found it difficult to secure two meals a day.
Shri Shishupal Mandavi shared the difficulties he faced while living in a 'kutcha' house, especially during the rainy season. The turning point came when he learned about the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and decided to avail its benefits. Thanks to the financial support provided under the housing scheme, Shri Shishupal Mandavi's permanent house has been completed. Expressing his gratitude, Shri Shishupal Mandavi credited Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for making his dream of owning a 'pucca house' a reality.
