Chief Minister Sai's empathy, compassion and simplicity was evident in his interaction with the public

Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai's commitment to providing the citizens with transparent, sensitive, and effective administration is increasingly becoming evident. From the time he assumed office, Shri Sai has made efforts to bring governance closer to the people, and today this intent of his was realized through 'Jandarshan' program. Chief Minister Shri Sai's 'Jandarshan' program is aimed at addressing the grievances of the state’s residents. First 'Jandarshan' program was organized on Thursday 27 June at CM House, where Chief Minister Shri Sai individually met with thousands of people from remote areas of the state. He listened empathetically to their problems and expectations, and directed departmental officials to promptly resolve the complaints and applications received.

Large number of people showed up to attend the first Jandarshan program of Shri Sai at CM House today. Although the scheduled time for the interaction was from 11 AM to 1 PM, due to the overwhelming presence of the public, the Chief Minister extended the duration. He assured the attendees that he would meet each of them and listen to their issues and expectations, leading to the program running continuously for five hours from 11 AM to 4 PM. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Sahi Sai patiently listened to the grievances of individuals from all age groups.

The Chief Minister’s sense of empathy and compassion towards the people has bridged the gap between the public and the administration. Chief Minister instructed officials to provide adequate treatment and support to those suffering from various illnesses, and personally attended to the needs of differently-abled individuals by distributing necessary equipment like hearing aids and tricycles. Additionally, he directed officials to make necessary arrangements for youths aspiring for higher education and competitive exams.
Despite the heat and humidity, people patiently waited for their turn to convey their grievances to the Chief Minister. They met him one by one and handed over their applications. People were greatly relieved after their interaction with the Chief Minister. Over 1,500 individuals submitted their applications, which mainly pertained to revenue, urban local bodies, health, education, construction work, and discretionary grants. All the applications received were registered, and tokens were provided to the applicants.
Immediate Approval of Rs 1.5 Lakh for Brain Surgery by Chief Minister: At the Jandarshan program, hearing aids, tricycles, certificates, and other necessary assistance were provided on the spot to differently-abled individuals. Immediate arrangements were also made for the treatment of those suffering from severe illnesses. Chief Minister approved Rs 1.5 lakh for brain surgery for Amit Soni of Dhamtari and sanctioned INR 50,000 for the treatment of Varsha Chandwani.
