An exhibition of the products manufactured by numerous Rural Industrial Parks (RIPA's) of the state has been put up by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department in the two-day Collector and SP conference organized at New Circuit House in the capital Raipur. This exhibition has been put up with the purpose of inspiring the collectors and the chief executive officers of different district panchayats to witness the different varieties of products manufactured by different districts RIPA's and Gauthans and to and take inspiration from each other's products and to create a better atmosphere of production and marketing. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel today.
This exhibition has a diverse variety of products like milk products, spices, scented incense sticks, LED bulbs from Mahasamund district and soap, cookies, and candles from Raipur district, Kosa silk sarees, kurtis, salwar suit cloth from Janjgir-Champa. Coconut cold press oil, tikhur milk shake and spices from Kondagaon, ragi, spices, bell metal products of Bastar have also been displayed here.
Products manufactured from banana fiber by Bemetara district, ragi cookies,dry fruits, pickles, manufactured by Dantewada, paint made from cow dung, plastic bags for packing vermicompost have been prepared by Kanker Gauthans are also exhibited here. Collectors and other officials of all the districts observed and appreciated the local products made by different districts.
