Proper facility for sending the dead bodies of deceased people to their homes with respect: Chief Minister

 Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel gave instructions to district Collectors


Vehicles to carry dead bodies will be provided in sufficient numbers in districts

The Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel has given instructions to ensure the availability of sufficient vehicles to take the dead bodies of deceased persons during treatment in Government hospitals to their homes with respect. Instructions have been issued on this matter by the Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel to all the district Collectors. In the issued instructions, it has been specified that all district Collectors after coordinating with Health Department and Non-governmental Organizations should make a provision for sufficient numbers of vehicles so that the dead bodies of the deceased persons can be sent to their respective homes. It is worth to be noted that the facility of vehicles for dead bodies has been provided to many Government hospitals by Non-governmental Organizations. However, often we come across news where a family in mourning is unable to take the dead body to their home because of the unavailability of a vehicle on time.
