Nursing staff and ward attendant suspended
Raipur : Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has expressed grave concern over an incident at Wadrafnagar Civil Hospital in Balrampur-Ramanujganj district, where a patient's family members were compelled to clean the hospital bed and floor. Upon receiving details of the incident, the Health Department instructed the Balrampur administration to conduct a thorough investigation.
A preliminary inquiry by the Chief Medical Officer found on-duty nursing staff Amita Minj and ward attendant Anita Singh accountable for the negligence. Based on this report, the Balrampur District Collector has suspended both employees for negligence, indiscipline, and failure to perform their duties. During the suspension period, they will be assigned to the District Hospital in Balrampur-Ramanujganj.
