Raipur : Minerals, forests and other natural resources are available in abundance in Chhattisgarh. As a result, there are immense possibilities of development in every field including agriculture as well as industries. The need is that we should use our existing capabilities properly and play our important role in the new construction of the state and the country.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai was addressing the budding entrepreneurs of Dantewada at the IIM campus in Nava Raipur yesterday. It is noteworthy that a batch of 50 youth from Dantewada district is receiving training in entrepreneurship at the country's prestigious management institute IIM. Chief Minister Shri Sai wished a bright future for all the youth receiving training and said that this training will prove to be extremely effective in building their career and improving their lives.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that when a young entrepreneur realizes his dreams, he opens the door of inspiration and opportunity for many youths. It is a matter of great joy that all of you are from Bastar region and are moving forward in the field of entrepreneurship. Today Bastar is considered to be the region with the most potential. You have learned important things related to entrepreneurship in the training. Now implement them and start your enterprise. Every possible help will be provided by the government.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said that Chhattisgarh has a favorable environment for the development of industries along with the agricultural sector. Keeping this in mind, we are constantly encouraging innovation, research and entrepreneurship for the overall development of the state. In this sequence, to accelerate industrial development in Chhattisgarh, we have implemented the 'New Industrial Policy 2024-30'. The basic mantra of this policy is: "Minimum Governance, Maximum Incentives." Under this, 'Single Window 2.0' system has been implemented to simplify the process of setting up industries, through which all the necessary clearances are being provided easily. In the new industrial policy, Bastar and Surguja regions, considered backward in the state, have been identified as the maximum investment incentive area, so that their rapid development can be ensured.
During the discussion, Chief Minister Shri Sai also informed that under the new industrial policy, a provision has been made for special grant for setting up industries in Bastar. A roadmap for the development of Bastar was also prepared last month, in which plans have been made for all major sectors including agriculture, forest produce based business and tourism. The connectivity of Bastar has now become excellent, so that the products of entrepreneurs can easily reach the markets across the country. Development is encouraged through a strong network of roads.
