Chief Minister Mr.Bhupesh Baghel reached Kashigarh village of Jaijaipur assembly constituency in Sakti district for the Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan on Wednesday. Various public representatives and local people warmly welcomed the Chief Minister with shawls, garlands, and flowers.

He visited Maa Chandrahasini Devi temple located in the Kashigarh village, before starting his ‘Bhent-Mulaqat’ meeting. He performed customary rituals at the temple and prayed to Maa Chandrahasini for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state. He also planted a mango sapling on the temple premises. Minister for Revenue Mr. Jai Singh Agarwal, MLA Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav, Secretary to Chief Minister Dr. S. Bharathidasan, public representatives, and officials were present on this occasion.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Mr.Baghel said that he is on a state tour to know the ground reality of the implementation of government schemes and directly interact with common people, public representatives, and social organisations to know their feedback and hear their grievances. He said that as soon as our government was formed here, first of all, we decided to waive off the short-term loan of farmers. Along with this, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana was also started. So far, two installments have been released under this scheme and the third installment will be released to the farmers on October 17 before Diwali, so that they can celebrate Diwali without any problem.

He said that the state government is working to put money in the pockets of the people. Sakti is a new district, there is much work to be done here. He said that a request was received from the members of women's SHGs that they want to start other activities also. The state government has decided to start Rural Industrial Park. In the initial phase, two parks are being built in each block, and their number can be increased as per the requirement. For this, a provision of Rs.600 crores has been made in the budget. He said that officials concerned have been instructed to build gauthans in villages that do not have gauthan. The state government is continuously developing better employment opportunities and improving rural health.

He announced various development work during Bhent-Mulaqat Abhiyan in village Kashigarh which includes the construction of a middle school building in village Kashigarh, construction of a sub-health center building in Kashigarh, Datoud and Malni villages, construction of a Trauma Center at Community Health Center Jaijaipur, construction of agricultural warehouse building in Jaijaipur, construction of Veterinary Hospital building and its compound in Jaijaipur, construction of Anganwadi building in village Belkarri, construction of CC road from village Akalsara to Kekraghat, construction of veterinary dispensary in village Pendri and Kachanda, construction of community hall in Mankadai temple complex in village Bhothiya. Addressing the demand of local people, he also announced that until the sub-health center is opened in Kashigarh, a Haat Bazar clinic will be held here every Tuesday.

CM directs the Sakti SDM to remove encroachment from Gauthan in 10 days

Chief Minister Mr.Baghel directed the Sakti SDM to remove the encroachment from Gauthan within 10 days. He received a complaint of encroachment in Gauthan of Chorbhati Panchayat during his Bhent Mulaqat meeting at village Kashigarh. Farmer Mr. Nand Kumar Nayak said that he has two and a half acres of agricultural land. Under the government's agricultural loan waiver scheme, his loan amount of Rs.50 thousand and his father's loan of Rs.2.5 lakh were waived. He has purchased a TV, motorcycle, necklace for his wife, clothes, and cycle for his daughter from the money received under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Mr. Nayak thanked the Chief Minister for providing such public welfare schemes.

During the interaction, an elderly woman of Kashigarh, Mrs. Shakuntala Goswami told the Chief Minister that she does not have any land, and she is not getting the benefits of any government's schemes. Addressing her issue, he called Halka Patwari onto the stage, instructed him to check her eligibility for any schemes, and directed him to provide benefits from the schemes as per her eligibility.
