Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel paid humble tribute to Sub-Inspector Shri Deepak Bharadwaj in his native village Pihrid of Sakti district. Late Shri Deepak Bharadwaj was martyred in a Naxalite encounter.
Mr. Baghel announced on the occasion that the Pihrid High School will be named after the martyr Shri Deepak Bhardwaj. It is worth mentioning that Shri Deepak Bhardwaj was martyred on April 3, 2021 during a Naxalite encounter in Jeevanaguda area of Tarrem police station jurisdiction in Bijapur district. Chief Minister met the parents of martyr Shri Deepak Bharadwaj, father Shri Radhelal Bhardwaj and mother Mrs. Parameshwari Bharadwaj and expressed condolence to them.
Chief Minister Mr. Baghel visited Pihrid village today, after his Bhent-Mulaqat tour in Jaijaipur assembly constituency, post attending the program organized in Hasaud. Local public representatives including MLA Mr. Ram Kumar Yadav and Mr. Keshav Chandra also paid homage to martyr Shri Deepak Bharadwaj and two-minute silence was observed on the occasion
