Raipur : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai met a delegation of participants from the Master Athletes Federation of India at his office in the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly premises on Wednesday.
The delegation informed Chief Minister that Chhattisgarh athletes delivered an impressive performance at the national-level sports competition organised by the Master Athletes Federation of India in Chennai from November 5 to 9, bringing laurels to the State.
Athletes from Bhilai, Bilaspur, Mahasamund and Bastar represented Chhattisgarh in the championship and secured victories in several events.
Congratulating the players on their achievements, Chief Minister Shri Sai said their hard work, discipline and dedication had earned Chhattisgarh recognition at the national level. He encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in future competitions as well.
Health Minister Shri Shyam Bihari Jaiswal was also present during the interaction.
