There is an interesting fact about the song “Diwaane hai diwano ko na ghar...” from Zanjeer. Rafi Sahab was on roza (fasting) and was also having a high fever and hence was not able to record the song.
Rafi Sahab, who rarely postponed recordings, initially hesitated to record the song. When lyricist Gulshan Bawra informed him that he was to lip-sync the song in the movie, Rafi Sahab, surprised, exclaimed, 'Why didn't you tell me earlier?' Without delay, he mustered his strength and recorded the song with an extraordinary rendition, showcasing his remarkable dedication.
