Mithila's daughter Neena became the first woman DG of CISF.

New Delhi, 29 December 2023 (Agency). Mithila's daughter and senior Indian Police Service officer Mrs. Neena Singh has been appointed as DG of Central Industrial Security Force (CISF). She will be the first woman DG of the force.
This information has been given in a government notification. Mrs. Singh is a 1989 batch officer of the Rajasthan cadre of the Indian Police services. Earlier, she was the Special DG in CISF. She became the first woman S.P. of Rajasthan in the year and posted in Sirohi district. She has received many awards.
Along with this, Rahul Rasgotra of Maharashtra cadre of the same batch has been made DG of ITBP. Before this he was posted in I.B. L.S.
