Washington, (Agency). The consecration ceremony of Ram temple in Ayodhya is also being celebrated in California, USA. Hindus here are organizing special puja and many other programs in various places and temples. A special worship of God Ram will also be organized on January 23 at the Sankatmochak Hanuman Temple built on a picturesque hill near Watsonville, California, USA.
A large number of Hindus and people of other religions will also participate in this puja organized on the occasion of the consecration of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Hanuman temple was consecrated at this place in 2003. After this, many projects have been opened here.
Baba Haridas came here in 1978, where he was donated land by an English disciple. Baba Haridas took a vow of silence for twelve years at the age of 29 but later kept it for the rest of his life for his inner peace. He used to express his views through writing.
There are special arrangements for meditation, yoga and worship in this temple and special arrangements have been made for accommodation and food for the yogis. Trainings are organized here for Yoga, Ayurveda and community knowledge for the people coming on the spiritual journey along with tourism in the picturesque valleys. A school from primary to high secondary level has been opened here. A large number of students come here. After Baba Haridas, his English disciple Govardhan JD is handling the arrangements. These days he is on a tour of India. There is an ashram for orphan children in Haridwar too, which is run by the same organization.
Hindu families everywhere in America have decided to celebrate the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Ram Temple as a festival. Car rallies are being organized at various places and on the occasion of Pran Pratishtha, every Hindu family will light five lamps in their homes. ISKCON temple is also actively participating in the Pran Pratistha Utsav. The temple is feeding food to 10,000 people every day in Ayodhya. The Pran Pratistha ceremony will be telecast live.
