According to the latest results, AAP 134 BJP 104 Congress 9 & independent has won three seats. Independent Shakeela Begum defeated AAP, BJP, Congress and Obaisi's party from the most popular seat Seelampur ward number 225. She won for the third time. Councilor has been elected.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has expressed gratitude to the people of Delhi for this victory. He said that now together we will clean and develop Delhi.
BJP leader Amit Malviya has said that the order of the people is supreme. Another senior leader of the party said that we have lost the power of the corporation. We will review this mistake.
Independent Shakeela Begum & her husband Haji Afzal has thanks to peoples of Delhi Seelampur ward.They took out a victory procession with their supporters. They said that now they will serve the people with more strength.
Amid tight security, the counting began at 8 am at 42 counting centers in the capital and the results were out by noon. The election was held on December 4. More than 1350 candidates were in the fray, in which the number of independents was 450. BSP, Obasi JDU's party had also fielded candidates.
The campaigning was muted as compared to other elections. Candidates focused only on door to door campaign. However, till the last moment no special trend was seen in the general public regarding the election. Votes cast. L.S.
