Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and the Special Guest of the program Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi, who reached Jagdalpur to attend the Bharose ka Sammelan program, bestowed a floral tribute to the statue of India’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, situated at the Nehru Smriti Manch near the Lalbag Maidan of the district. 

Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel and the Special Guest of the program Mrs. Priyanka Gandhi Vadra observed the historical Pandit Nehru Smriti Manch. This stage has been constructed on the site where the nation’s first Prime Minister Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru had addressed the third National Tribal Convention. Pt. Nehru attended the convention held in this place on 13 March 1955. The guests also overviewed the five inscriptions related to Nehru Ji’s life.
