PM Mr. Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana for the overall development of special backward tribes

Raipur: Chief Minister Mr.Vishnu Deo Sai attended the program organised for Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana in Bagicha Tehsil on Monday. In his address to the people, he said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi launched several public welfare schemes and also ensured the effective implementation of these schemes to provide maximum benefits to needy families. PM Mr. Modi ensured that the mantra “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas” must be fulfilled through these schemes. PM Mr. Modi launched the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana for the development of special backward tribes. In consonance with PM Modi’s vision, the state government will work for the overall development of special backward tribes.
 

Chief Minister Mr. Sai shared the information related to the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana and informed that in around 288 settlements, 3761 families of the Pahari Korwa community and around 16,629 people of this community are residing in the Jashpur district. Similarly, the Birhor tribe community lives in 12 settlements with 177 families and a population of 565. He shared that the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana was launched on November 25, 2022, the birth anniversary of Birsa Munda ji. The scheme was started with an initial 3-year target to provide benefits to special backward tribes, and the state government will continue its efforts through this scheme to provide the maximum benefits to special backward tribal families for their overall development. They are receiving benefits from various schemes such as the Ayushman Bharat Yojana Card, Aadhar Card, Kisan Credit Card, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana, Jan Dhan Account, LPG Gas Connection, etc. The state government has provided road connectivity to their settlements and provided houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
 

Chief Minister Mr. Sai highlighted the swift implementation of promises made in Modi's Guarantee that have been initiated since the formation of the government in Chhattisgarh. Following the taking of the oath on December 13, the cabinet approved the provision to provide 18 lakh houses to the beneficiaries of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the first cabinet meeting on December 14. On Good Governance Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister Mr. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, farmers received a two-year pending bonus for paddy procurement directly in their accounts. The government, aiming for transparency, initiated a CBI investigation into the irregularities of CGPSC 2021. Moreover, a supplementary budget was passed to allocate Rs 12,000 annually to married women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. The Chief Minister shared that the state government has made provisions to fill the backlog of vacancies, provide financial assistance to landless labourers, and increase bonuses for tendu patta collectors. He shared his work experience from a five-year tenure serving as a Union Minister of State. He commended Prime Minister Mr. Modi for dedicating his government to the welfare of the poor and implementing various public welfare schemes. The Chief Minister praised Mrs. Mankunwari Bai for her bold and impactful interaction with Prime Minister Mr. Modi. Mrs. Mankunwari Bai is a woman belonging to the Pahari Korwa community and lives in Salkhadand village in Bagicha tehsil. Expressing reverence at the holy land of Khudiya Rani, the Chief Minister greeted the people of the state for the Makar Sankranti, Pongal, and Lohri festivals.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai distributed the certificates and provided benefits of various schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, Ration Card, Ayushman Card, Matru Vandana Yojana, MNREGA Job Card, Kisan Credit Card, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Caste Certificate, Jan Dhan Yojana, Aadhar Card, and Van Dhan Vikas Kendra to 10 beneficiaries of each Special Backward Tribes.

Jashpur MLA Mrs. Raimuni Bhagat, Pathalgaon MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai, Surguja Commissioner Mr. G.R. Churendra, IG Mr. Ankit Garg, Secretary of Women and Child Development Department Mrs. Shammi Abidi, Collector Dr. Ravi Mittal, SP Mr. D. Ravi Shankar, various public representatives, officers, and a large number of people were present.
