This financial aid of Rs 10 lakh will be additional to the amount provided by the Central and the State Government
Raipur : 1 February 2024/Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has announced financial aid of Rs 10 lakh each for the families of the three Jawans martyred in the Naxal encounter on January 30 in Tekalgudem area of Sukma district. Chief Minister Shri Vishn Deo Sai made the aforementioned announcement today while addressing the journalists at 'Jhumka Jal Mahotsav' organized in Baikunthpur, Koriya district. The financial aid mentioned above will be provided in addition to the amount sanctioned by the state and central government for families of martyrs.
It is known that on January 30, three Jawans attained martyrdom while braving the ambush attack by Naxalites in village Tekalgudem of Jagargunda police station jurisdiction in Sukma district. In this incident, constable Mr. Deven C and constable Mr. Pawan Kumar of 201 Cobra CRPF battalion and constable Mr. Lambadhar Singha of 150th battalion attained martyrdom, while 16 Jawans got injured. Eight of the injured Jawans have been brought to the capital city Raipur for advanced medical treatment. Chief Minister Shri Sai personally met the injured Jawans in the hospital of Raipur on January 30th evening, and asked them about their well-being.
