Tribal Welfare Department's Stall Showcases Tribal Pride: A Tribute to Valor and Culture
 
Raipur : At the 24th Rajyotsava event held at Pandit Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Trade Complex in Atal Nagar Nava Raipur, the stall of  Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department has become as a prime attraction for visitors. Since the beginning of the festivities, large number of people are visiting and admiring the department's display.
 
On the second day, Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai also visited the stall and commended its offerings. During his visit, he took a family photograph at the specially created selfie zone within the stall. Principal Secretary Shri Sonamani Bora extended a warm welcome to the Chief Minister and provided a detailed overview of the exhibition’s theme.

It is noteworthy that in line with the directives of Minister Shri Ramvichar Netam, theme of this year’s stall was “Tribal Pride: A Tribute to Valor and Culture”. Both Principal Secretary Shri Sonamani Bora and Secretary cum Commissioner Shri Narendra Kumar Dugga are overseeing the stall's operations, ensuring a vivid portrayal of tribal valour and culture that has captivated significant crowds daily.

The stall includes a historical representation of the tribal revolts that occurred in Chhattisgarh during the freedom struggle, offering a glimpse of the tribal community's valour. Additionally, the stall showcases the region's rich tribal heritage through a series of displays. Traditional tribal jewelry and details of various departmental schemes are prominently exhibited via informative panels. The Tribal Research and Training Institute has also presented its research publications on tribal areas, available for public viewing.

To inform the public about the department's initiatives, brochures detailing the schemes of the Tribal and Scheduled Caste Development Department are accessible at the stall. Additionally, the stall highlights the Tribal Pride Day and the Dharati Aba Tribal Village Upliftment Campaign through an engaging selfie zone.
