Raipur : We have transferred the tenth installment of love money of one thousand rupees under Mahtari Vandan Yojana to your account today for our 70 lakh mothers and sisters. The blessings of our mothers and sisters give me the strength to work. The sparkle of self-respect seen in the eyes of our mothers and sisters is our biggest satisfaction. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai said this while addressing the function organized on the occasion of inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth about 137 crore rupees in Raigarh district today. On this occasion, on the request of Chief Minister Shri Sai, Saraswati Yadav transferred an amount of 652 crore rupees as the 10th installment of Mahtari Vandan Yojana to 70 lakh women of the state by pressing the button.
In his address, Chief Minister Shri Sai mentioned village Dansara of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district and said that the mothers and sisters here thought that a grand temple of Shri Ramlala has been built in Ayodhya Dham. We should also build a temple of Ramlala next to the Hanuman temple of the village. These women started the construction of the temple by collecting donations from the amount received from the Mahtari Vandan Yojana. There are so many stories of mothers and sisters dreaming and their dreams being fulfilled. I often ask mothers and sisters about this and every time their words touch my heart.
The Chief Minister said that yesterday I met the toppers of the PSC exam in Raipur. There was a sparkle of confidence in the eyes of those youth. They told me that their confidence was broken due to irregularities in the PSC exam, but when our government came, we worked for transparency in the PSC exam. Corruption in competitive exams not only ruins the future of a talented youth, but also destroys the structure of the civil service. When we gave the responsibility of investigating corruption to the CBI, their confidence was restored. Today we have also performed the Bhoomi Pujan of the Nalanda campus to be built with an amount of Rs 42 crore 56 lakh, which will greatly benefit the youth appearing for PSC and other competitive exams. We are starting libraries like Nalanda in the capital Raipur in 13 urban bodies of the state. There will be a collection of thousands of books here. There will be WiFi facility. Youth preparing for all kinds of competitive exams will be able to get study material here.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has set the goal of building a developed India in the year 2047. We have also prepared a vision document to develop Chhattisgarh by the year 2047. The vision document focuses on the rapid industrialization of the state. We have made a new industrial policy for the rapid development of industries. Due to this, entrepreneurs in Chhattisgarh will have great convenience in starting new ventures. Connectivity is the first condition for improving the industrial environment. In the next two years, the road network of our state will be at par with any developed country. Surguja and Bastar have got air connectivity. The way infrastructure work has been done in the railways in a decade, it will not only provide convenience to passengers in the future, but the movement of freight will also become very easy, which is most important for increasing business.
The Chief Minister said that now is the time to buy paddy. Our government has also taken full care of the welfare of the farmers. We are buying paddy at Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 acres per quintal. Last time we had bought a record 145 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. This time the target is 160 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. Our government is about to complete one year. The very next day of taking oath, we had approved 18 lakh houses and since then the process of fulfilling Modi ji's guarantee has been going on continuously and now we have fulfilled most of the promises of Modi ji's guarantee within a year. Today we have honored such beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, who have completed the work of their houses.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Arun Saw said that today Vishnu's good governance started in Chhattisgarh. All the guarantees of Modi are being fulfilled in Chhattisgarh. Development works are being completed rapidly in villages and cities. He told that an amount of Rs 100 crore has been released for urban development in Raigarh district. Works worth Rs 60 crore have been approved in Raigarh Municipal Corporation itself.
Finance Minister Shri OP Choudhary said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai, work is being done towards completing the work of canals from Kelo Dam to provide irrigation facilities to the farmers in Raigarh district, for this, provision of funds has been made in the budget. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Shri Sai, the Raigarh region is being developed rapidly. He told that Horticulture College is going to open in Raigarh. The Nalanda campus will be constructed here from CSR funds, which will benefit the students here.
The library will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities
The fully equipped Nalanda campus at Marine Drive in Raigad will be a state-of-the-art library. It will be the largest library in the state, it will have all the facilities that are usually found in libraries of big cities and universities. Here students will get such an eco-system of study and teaching, so that they can prepare themselves for competition at the national level along with the state. Chief Minister Shri Vishnudev Sai along with 5 school students inaugurated the virtual tour video of the Nalanda campus to be built in Raigad by pressing the button.
The Nalanda campus will have a smart library and study zone. Along with a collection of thousands of books, there will also be a facility to access international level e-books. The focus will be on smart learning. Students will also get 24x7 WiFi and internet facilities here. Along with civil services, there will also be books for medical, engineering, CLAT preparation as well as Maths Olympiad. Career guidance seminars will be organized. To prepare children for admission in Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sainik School after 5th standard, a Kids Study Zone and Kids Library will be set up separately where books and study material will be available according to their syllabus. There will also be a cafeteria along with a conference hall.
